I am looking for an app that combines my work email and gmail email into one widget or app. I thought that Pure Messenger would do that but I can't get it to add my work email to it. Any suggestions or apps?

I cannot find the answer online for this. When I do a search on my corp e-mail it always says no matches. It never works. Anyone have a solution?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI had BB Storm and simply added my exchange server email by just entering my username and password.I am trying on SF and keep getting an error even after entering domain, server, etc.Does this only work on Android phones with Corp email data added? And if so, I've read many problems with getting emails via exchange. Don't want to spend $15/month, but at least want it to work if i do.Are there any 3rd party programs that will run exchange emails?

I downloaded Android 2.2 this morning. Note: I did not attempt to sync my
"corporate" microsoft exchange calendar before today so I have no knowledge of how this may have worked on Android 2.1. I believe I read somewhere that 2.1 allowed for separate or multiple calendars.
I just set up my "Corporate Sync" account today on my stock Droid X and it merged all of my work's Calendar events (via exchange) with my Personal Gmail Calendar events into one calendar.
I'd prefer to keep these things calendars separate as it's hard enough to not think about work when I'm not at home!
I have 2 Questions:
(1) Does anyone know if there is a way to have two separate calendars (i.e. one for work, and one personal)?
(2) If I add an event to my Google Calendar will it sync to my Corporate Calendar? I'm assuming No since I don't think it does it in the opposite manner (e.g. Corporate calendar doesn't sync to Google Calendar).
Jorte also merged all my Work events and Personal events together despite the settings only stating that it will only sync my Google Calendar. So I can't use Jorte and Google to view Personal and Work calendars that way.
I switched from my Itouch to the Droid X but an having issues with the email icon not displaying the unread email count. I can open Messaging and see the Corp Icon and it shows the number of unread emails. Can I add an Icon for my Corporate Sync account to the desktop so that I know that I have unread emails?

I know that I can use the gmail app with my gmail account. I am already going to sync the calendar and contacts.
If I choose to use the HTC Mail app for my gmail (setup as exchange), do I need to set gmail (when logged in on the web interface) as IMAP? I know to use the m.google.com as the exchange server.
Unless I'm losing it, whenever I had a new email notification, pulled down the notification bar, and clicked the email, G mail app opened up the email itself. All of a sudden, when I do the same thing, it opens up the G mail In box and I have to click the email itself to open it. Am I delusional and this is how it's always been?

View 4 Replies View RelatedEarlier today my phone stopped automatically syncing with my work Microsoft Exchange. Yesterday was perfect ( I have had the phone for 3 months all ways synced before). I did a soft reset, nothing. Hard reset, nothing. All the setting are the same. It just continuously tries to sync, but never connects. Will I have to set up the account again or what ?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen using the Exchange ActiveSync mail, I'm trying to enable the HTC Incredible to view e-mail in HTML format.I've gone to Settings --> Send & Receive... but the "Message Format" option is greyed out and not enabled.I then tried switching the "Mail size limit" from 10KB to "Entire Mail" as one user suggested for the HTC Hero on Sprint - but that didn't seem to work either.I've also seen in places that Exchange 2007 or 2010 is required to get HTML email... we're about to upgrade, but we're currently on Exchange 2003 - so that could be the cause of the issue for whatever reason.Has anyone had any luck with this on the HTC Incredible?
View 13 Replies View RelatedI'm just wondering if anyone else is seeing this issue. Since the Froyo update I've had every Droid Incredible phone(the only droids at our facility) have this same exact issue. The phones will just randomly stop getting emails. But once the user goes into "Email" it refreshes itself and they started getting all of their emails. I even tried a different email app to see if there was something that at least worked. "Improved Email" seemed to do the trick until that too stopped getting emails all of a sudden too and the only way to reset that is to reboot the phone, and then all of the emails will come through on boot up. I am at a loss as to what is causing this. All of our other smart phones(non droid phones) are running fine. It seems as soon as the Froyo update hit these phones, email has been a struggle since.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the D Inc and have a question. Is there anyone to create filters in Active Sync Exchange that filters out emails so they don't hit your Inc. I have a rule setup in Outlook that automatically sends an email sent by a specific email address to go directly to my deleted items in my Personal Folders in Outlook 2007. The reason why i ask is because on my BB Storm, I setup a filter that blocked these emails from going to my BB In box. I also remember on my Moto Q with Win Mobile I always also able to setup a filter as well. I work at a help desk with a ticket tracking system, the system sends an email for every ticket opened by the help desk to all help desk employees, so my in box can fill up quite quickly. I did notice that if I have Outlook opened up on my desktop these emails do not show up on my D Inc, but when I close Outlook (Like I did last night before I went home), they are showing up today on my Inc.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI wanted to see if anyone else was having this problem. I have my work e-mail setup to work as an exchange activesync. Everything was great up until about 3 days ago. I noticed that i was not receiving emails unless i manually updated the email. So i looked in settings/Send & Receive and under the Set download frequency it was set to "manual". I think to myself that weird since it was set up to "as items arrive" before. I then switch it back and after an hour still no emails but i am getting them on my computer. They use to actually get to my phone before my computer. Anyways i go back and try again but it seems it keeps defaulting back to "manual". I really want to avoid calling verizon since the last tech support called i made took 45mins to resolve the problem.

I usually just read what other people wrote, but I can't seem to find a related post for my current problem.I date someone overseas in S. Korea, and since there's no way to send text msgs in Korean from here, I talk to her using activesync with a gmail account. She can check emails on her phone from Korea, and my phone sends me notification everytime I get an email from her. Basically it's same as texting except it allows me to type in Korean and doesn't cost a dime.For the reasons mentioned above, saving battery life isn't much of an option for me. I need to have activesync or gmail push running instantly. I tried using "check email every 5 minutes", but just imagine having to stay idle for 5 minutes everytime you text with your friends.
As of today, gmail push on android seems to work with 5 - 30 minutes delay (or manual refresh). However, Exchange Activesync will not even allow me to sync gmail (Different errors every time even though I'm putting the same information; gmail address,m.google.com as server address, username & password). I thought activesync just allows me to use "gmail push" on HTC mail app, so I don't quite understand why gmail app works (despite the lag), but activesync won't even let me sync my mail. Activesync last worked on 06/17/2010.Also, gmail push works with no lag when I'm on wifi. Is this normal?I'm starting to think there's a problem with the Sprint network or my phone. Gmail push also works instantly if my 3G bar is white. If it's greyed out, no emails come until the 3G bar turns white. Now I have to turn on AIM or MSN messenger to keep the data flowing and manually keep the 3G bar white. Then gmail push comes instantly. It's pretty ridiculous because the battery then lasts about 2-4 hours.
My school email address runs through gmail but is not an @gmail.com address.Is there a way to set up this email with the stock gmail app?If not how do I do it with the stock mail app because I couldn't figure that out either.

I DO have a Gmail account (pretty much forced into it) but my main accounts are Hotmail and my own custom domain (non-exchange).

What i am wondering is if there is any 3rd party app out there that will Pop your email acct(s) and push the mail to your phone to either the stock HTC Mail app or it's own 3rd party client.

I've seen Touchdown - but this appears to be only for Exchange.
Can either of these applications provide Push Email to Android or are there any others out there? If not, does anyone know of any on the horizon?
If I receive an email (use gmail) from someone that's not already in my contacts in people, is there a way to copy and paste or to add the address to my contacts in people without doing it manually?

In Gmail online, I can send all messages as being sent from the Pop3 account. I cannot figure out how to do this with the HTC mail account, which makes it pretty useless. Anyone else using HTC mail and receiving and sending from different accounts? I've tried changing the outgoing server stuff, but I keep getting failed message sent errors.

Is there some app which combines the Power Control widget and the Settings widgets? I don't want to clutter up a screen with on/off buttons when one icon would open up a program that allows me to do them all.

Googled this issue and can't seem to find the resolution. I am using the Gmail app which came pre-installed on the phone. I have entered my account details, I can send emails but I don't get a notification when I receive an email to my Gmail Inbox. I have checked the settings and I have setup a ringtone and selected the option to flag up an icon in the notification bar. However the only way I know I have an email is if I open the app. I have a task manager and Gmail is on the ignore list.
