HTC Hero :: Call Divert App For Phone?

Is there such a thing?
I would like an app that would set the divert to different numbers depending on location.
i work/live in a rural area, so i have a hero on one network which at the moment, when i am out somewhere, diverts to another phone on a different network when there is no signal because the network coverage varies so much!
but, the signal in my house is terrible on both networks so i have to divert the hero (main) phone number to my landline as this is my main contact number for business and the answer machine is attached.
it would make it easier for me if there was something that recognized when i was in or out of the house and set the divert accordingly, most of my appointments are noted in the calendar, so even if it was triggered by an appointment or such, that would be enough, any app suggestions?

sending the USSD command.eg, to divert a call on the number-123456789 we dial
*122*123456789#. it divert the call on to the 123456789.

I've got the HTC Hero, I want to divert specific numbers to voicemail at all times - is there a way to do this? I'm a total technophobe, so feel free to talk to me like I'm a 5 year old.

Has anybody had problems connecting to your WiFi network while talking on the phone? My phone disables the WiFi and will not let me reconnect.. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I have my Jabra BT250V Headset paired to my Hero. Can anyone tell me...on an incoming call what do I press on the phone to transfer the call to my headset? Also is there any way the Hero can be set to auto-answer after x no of rings like my previous Wim mob phone and most Nokias do?

Since I got my Hero in November, I've been able to use the internet while on a phone call through my Bluetooth headset.I've done it hundreds of times.Everything from surfing the web to clicking and viewing picture links in Twitter texts.Suddenly, tonight, I tried to do it and noticed that I had no internet connection.As soon as I hung up from the call, the internet kicked back on.I looked up what I was trying to look up and when I got another phone call, it kicked off again.I have looked up this issue and have read repeatedly that you can't do this on a CDMA network.My question is this...why was I able to do it for months and suddenly I'm not? I just did it last night!

After i make a call i get an animated picture with an Andriod Character doing something such as being in front of the computer, holding up a glass etc.I have to press back in order to get rid of it.

Whenever I make a call where there is a long recorded message before telling me the options, I find the phone has gone into standby - when I bring it out of standby the call gets disconnected. Is there any way to stop the phone going to sleep during a call?

is there a quick way to silence any ringtone or notification on the phone. when your in a public place and suddenly your phone is the loudest thing on earth.i'd like to be able to push a button or do something that makes it immediately stop. with my blackberry i pushed the buttons on the side (volume buttons) and it made it stop.i can't figure it out on the hero.

I missed a call from my husband this morning and he said that he immediately received a text from me saying i was busy and would call him later. Well, I had not sent the message and yet there it is. Have looked and looked for a feature that may be causing that. I use Handscent. Any helpful info? I have had this phone 4 months and this has never happened.

So this started a week or so ago. I don't receive text messages unless I'm on a phone call. So until I call or receive a phone call. I don't get any messages. Once I do call. i get like 5 messages. anyone else have this problem? Quite frustrating. Called sprint to reset network n stuff but still no resolution. They said to hard reset but I'm reluctant.

I use the Google Voice (GV) click to call (click-to-call / ctt) feature quite a bit. When it rings my phone, my OWN google voice number shows up in my phone's call log. Does anybody know if it is possible, or how, to get the click-to-call initiated calls to show up as the person that I was calling in my phone's call log?

Is there a way to extend the time that the backlight stays on whilst making a phone call?
Sure, I know that you can press the 'end call' button to end a call, but about three or four rings into the call, the backlight goes out, meaning that the on-screen 'end call' option is disabled, presumably also meaning that turning on the speakerphone during a call is going to need some tactile finger acrobatics.

I've been trying to find out how to choose which contact phone number to call. I'm talking about if I have a mobile number and home number programed to one name.

I've switched from the iPhone to the Hero a week ago. I really like the Hero, even though some functions are better on the iphone (like the musci player).
There is one Issue however, which is really bugging me with the HTC, which might make me switch back to the iPHone if I can't find a solution.
Problem:
When I call with my headset (Not the original ones, I don't have huge ear holes....) I can't "switch off" the screen and put the phone in my pocket and call while walking... This sucks, as I have to hold the phone in my hands, which kind of kills the idea of having a headset.

There is some annoying problem when I receive call- the phone starts ringing on the third free signal of the opposite side. When is in active mode, it rings almost immediately, but once it get into sleep mode, then this problem appears...why is this call lag?

I've had two HTC hero's on T-Mobile, and on my old one I used to be able to check the time I made or received a call on the 'call history' display. I had that phone stolen and got a replacement that is identical but running newer software, I think. All is great, except for the fact that it no longer displays the time a call was made or received in the history. I see this as a very important feature to have on a phone, so how can I get it to work properly? At present it just says the date - no time.

On my previous phone it had a "full lock" feature on it that when a text message or phone call came in it would show all stars on the screen and require my password before you could answer the call or view the text message does the hero have that option or is there an app I can download?
I tried the pattern lock thing it has but if a call comes through or a text message comes through it still allows you to answer and/or view the message without entering the lock pattern..

I don't remember my DroidX always doing this, but recently after I hang-up from a call it shows the "Call Time XX:XX" in the center of the screen and I can't do anything until it goes away, which is generally 5-8 seconds. Hitting Home, Back, etc does nothing and tapping on the screen or the message also does nothing.Is this a setting I can disable? I can look at the recent calls to get the length of call if I need to see it, so I don't need the dramatic pause to give me this info.

It seems like my Samsung Behold2 the call drop ratios is extremely high, call drops out of no where and sometimes I have seen full bars on phone but still calls get dropped. Another issue that while on the call the other parties voice will stop coming, the phone will be running and shows the call timer on as well, cannot end the call if this happens, the dialers just seems like hanged. only thing to come out from this issue is either take the battery out or somehow manage it to go in airplane mode.

Oftentimes when I attempt to end a phone call the screen goes dark and I am not able to end a call. I have read other websites in which users have had similar issues. Will this issue be addressed and fixed soon in a firmware update?

A feature I miss on my Palm Pre was the ability to initiate a call on the phone and transfer call to bluetooth in my car or vice versa with the single click of a button.
I'm really having a difficult time with the Evo regarding this issue. Once I start the call on my phone, how do I transfer the call to my car without hanging up and calling through the car?
