View 2 Replies View RelatedIf I purchase an app with my current phone, and then I upgrade to a different phone in a few months, is there a way to take the apps with me? I have searched and can't find anything definitive. The ideal thing is if Google is storing my application history with my Google account somewhere, but I don't see where it would be.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhat's the deal with this? It appears that only some apps can be moved to the SD card. I have been using ApptoSD which works fine but only works on a few apps. Why won't it work with everything? I keep running out of space on my phones memory and would love to move the bulk of my apps to the SD card.
View 3 Replies View RelatedGot my X today and after playing with it for a while and moving apps over I had worn the fully charged battery down to 30%. I decided to go ahead and make the old droid call quality trick of switching to ERV-B, after which the phone resets. The weird part is that the battery came back to 70% after the reset.
View 3 Replies View Relatedi was wondering what apps are safe to move and which ones just wont move. I know system apps and those that use widgets are a no no. But what about Google maps, facebook, gmail, astro and Adobe flash player (12.4) mb?

I am out of options.

View 19 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to move all the apps stored on the phone's memory to the SD card?
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs it possible? I made 2 folders on my home screen and renamed them. But I notice everytime I drag and add an app inside the folder there is no way (at least that I can find) to move them around in the order I would like them to be in. Theres no way to drag them around and organize them without taking them out completely then re adding them in order. Am I doing something wrong? Is this possible? If not with stock folders is there an app that lets me do this?

Right now I am rooted, and I know I need to unroot. I have purchased several root-only apps from the market and I would like to know if what will happen to them during the process. Of course I know that when I unroot I will lose everything and then not be able to use them. But once I root my new phone will I be able to reinstall them? And will the people be able to view them in my downloads?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am trying to remove some of these stock apps like cityid and amazonmp3. What I did was created a folder on my SD "deleted" and I was copying the applications I didnt not want from /system/app. So I moved amazonmp3.adk and cityid.apk to the deleted folder. When I look in the app folder they are gone but when I look under my apps from the home screen they are still there. So I reboot and when i go back into /system/app the apps are mysteriously back.
View 1 Replies View RelatedTo those sick of seeing the AT&T apps but don't want to root. I bring you a solution! Launcherpro has recently received an update that allows you to hide apps in the apps-drawer. This will allow you to pretend the AT&T apps no longer exist without forcing you to root the phone.
