Is there a way to have a LauncherPro style dock but still using Sense?I like the way LauncherPro has Web/Phone/Text etc icons along the bottom which frees up screen space. Sense only gives 3 of which the '+' button is pointless as it is just the same as a long press. Would rather avoid changing altogether to LP if at all possible.

I have an issue with the dock icons on launcherpro. If I use the hide status bar option I get an empty Black bar at the top and half the icons are pushed down at The bottom of the screen. Not all the time just now and again. The icons stil function ......I know its probably linked to an app I'm running But I can't find which one after many deletes and Reinstalls.

I have figured everything out for the most part. but i purchased the launcherpro plus or whatever for my samsung epic and i customized the dock icons. They are really small i don't know why. but is there anyone out there that knows how to make the dock icons bigger?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with my custom icons on my LauncherPro dock disappearing after my phone goes on standby, or I plug in my phone to my pc, or something like that.The icons switch back from the custom to the standard LauncherPro icons. However, it's not doing it on every icon, the mail and text custom icons stay, but the phone, app drawer, and web icons revert back to stock.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the dock bar configured on my Droid Eris with the default icons, but I have changed the default application for each (i.e. the message icon opens Handcent instead of the default messaging app). However, I'd like to have the icon be the app that its actually running. How can I do this? I tried long-pressing the button and selecting "Change Icon" from the menu, but I can only use either the default LP icons or I can pick a picture from the Photo album. I'd really like to have the Handcent icon for the messaging button, etc.Any ideas? I've seen a few threads on here where people have changed them, but none mention HOW they've changed them.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI really like Sense but I really want to try out the transparent widget mods for launcherpro plus (which I already bought). Is there any way to get the launcherpro widgets in sense? I know the opposite can't be done, but I figure since I paid for the extra widgets, it would be cool if I could use them outside of the launcher. And I know, launcher pro is awesome...I have beautiful widgets and I know that is almost the same but the weather animations are a pain because they come up on any screen and in my apps and I have to tap to clear them and then I can scroll. With sense I just unlock and scroll and I like that alot better right now.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI installed LauncherPro and loooove it. However, I noticed my battery life is even more pathetic than it was on sense. Since unplugging at 8:30, I'm down to 80% already. I even disabled live backgrounds because I thought that might be the culprit. Has anyone else found that battery performance with LauncherPro is weaker than Sense? Or am I just being sensitive?

I am and other than the big quadrant scores which I think have a lot to do with the read/write speed increase due to the partition, I don't notice much difference between this ROM kernel combo and any other I have tried. What is your opinion. I switched back to CM6 until MIUI MMS is working all the way around and I was lead to dialer one, which is the reason I left CM6 in the first place, I like the sense style dialer.

It's a wheel and the user can push it up or down to select higher or lower number.
If there isn't code available, how do I go about implementing it?
At best I would like to have a 59 beneath the 00 to be more like a real wheel.
i'm torn between two worlds the world without HTC sense where you can have a shortcut dock on the homescreen as provided by LauncherPro, and the world with HTC sense where more homescreen widgets work.So, the question is - can you get a dock like the one offered by LauncherPro and keep Sense, or, can you get more widgets to work with LauncherPro. Widgets like the agenda calendar where your facebook contacts and any other events show up in a list?

I have the HTC One X so if I use a different launcher now (ADW, Go etc) I get my desktop shorterned by the "Menu" on screen button.
How I can stick to the standard launcher but have a transparent dock?

So I tried again and again it said it is installed but still no icon.
But it does show as installed under settings, applications, manage Applications.
I've got a question or problem.
If I've got LauncherPro as my standard launcher I have a problem when I boot my phone up. If I do not put in my PIN in time it further boots up without the SIM loaded. That means that I can't text, use data (except for WiFi), call.
I then have to reboot the phone again and put in my PIN. That's quite annoying when you're booting the phone up, which takes a LONG time. If I lay down my phone for a few seconds when it's booting up and I pick it back up, I can reboot it because I didn't put my PIN in time...
I just want to know how i can make my phone boot with launcher rather than on sense and have to switch...

However, It is draining the battery fast.Using System Info I can see that when LauncherPro is installed android.process.acore is running at 100% CPU yet without it installed it runs at 0%.Any ideas what is occuring and how it can be fixed, or is this normal for LauncherPro?
Last week I started using LauncherPro Plus - excellent app and everything has been working well. until I installed Beautiful Widgets this morning.
1. Takes a long time to navigate from one menu screen to the next, often with a FC due to timeout.
2. When the widget finally appears on the Homescreen, it can't find my location (yes, I've tried all combinations of geolocation, GPS, town search, etc)
3. Weather will not update and the moon is always showing even though it's midday here.
I was so impressed with the skins for Beautiful Widgets - it's the last thing I need to complete my custom look using LauncherPro, and I'm very disappointed that they don't seem to work together
When I first got my Desire I used the stock internet browser. I added a bookmark for netcarshow.com. After a while I started using Dolphin HD which I found to be far better, and started adding several bookmarks to Dolphin. Fast forward a month or so and I'm still using Dolphin HD and have been using LauncherPro for the past couple of weeks.
The problem is when I add the LauncherPro Bookmarks widget to a homescreen. It only shows the bookmark for netcarshow.com; my saved bookmarks in Dolphin are nowhere to be seen. They all show when using the browser, but not in the LauncherPro widget. I've looked through every setting for Android, Dolphin and LauncherPro but can't find a way to import/export the bookmarks. Also used Astro to look for bookmarks folders (to copy/paste) and viewed the SD card using USB on my PC, but unable to find any stored bookmark data. The LauncherPro widget is excellent but I can't figure out how to get it to display the Dolphin bookmarks, any ideas?
I have been using LP Plus and absolutely love it, transformed the phone IMO. I am however, having problems with the bookmark display in that it is not displaying the web pages in the widget as it should be, it just comes up with the name and a standard image. I have tried just going into the page but it doesn't work.

PS: I tried Android on-off widget but it only changed access points or something and that's not what I'm looking for.
im wondering is there any sort of nokia pc suite style program i can put on my win xp PC? i miss the ability to plug the phone in, read messages and reply to them while im working on my pc, saves me unplugging the phone every few minutes.now i have a HTC desire and i understand there is some sort of sync program, but so far as i know it just syncs with outlook.even if there is no all in one PC suite style progam, a messaging app for the pc would be quite cool
