Samsung Behold 2 :: Delete Two Songs That Come With Phone?
Jan 31, 2010I just got the samsung behold 2 which is pretty darn nifty. the only thing, so far, that i can't stand is that when i plug in my headphones it starts playing that fucking david gray song.
A.) I would like to know how to disable the function of the music player starting when i plug in headphones and
B.) if possible, how can i delete the two songs that come with the phone?
i got a nice pair of headphones for the holidays that i can use as a hands free device but if every time i plug them in the music player starts i'm going to throw the phone out the window.

Apr 30, 2010Is there a way to delete unwanted apps on a stock phone? I got an update last week and it came with some stupid trial games that I don't want. When I go into app management to remove it, there is no unistall option. I hate how we are forced to keep some apps.

Apr 26, 2010i just got my behold 2 & was so frustrated about not being able to delete all my unwanted emails all at once...what a terrible feature not to have. but i found the solution...just go to market & download the "K9" application & it's done. you can select all emails, then delete AND they don't go to a "junk" folder...they are gone for good. maybe everyone knows about K9 already but i just had to share this wonderful information for anyone encountering this!!

Jun 24, 2010I've got no data plan from t-mobile and despite this have been able to access gmail via the gmail app through 3G.Yesterday I was forced to preform a hard reset (volume down+call+end call).After the reset I connected to my Wifi and logged into the Google Network as I did when I initially got my phone.I've found that I can access everything as before including Weather Channel App, My T-Mobile, as well as Sync Calender via 3G, but whenever I try to Sync or Refresh Gmail or Contacts it fails to connect. (I get "! No Connection").

Feb 20, 2010Has anyone else had issues with contact data not getting synced back up to the cloud ? I have lost contact information twice (once going to Galaxy, and again when coming back to TW for the update). I have Exchange email configured as well, but none of my contacts reside in that "addressbook" as far as I can tell everything should be being saved back to Google. I have contacts that exist on in Google (verified from my computer) that I updated phone numbers for that disappeared after I did a factory wipe. My sync settings are all checked and from everything I can tell I should be syncing continuously. Clearly I must be missing something, but I have no idea what it is. That "data in the cloud" safety net has not worked for me twice and I'd like not to get burned again.

Now, I try to login to my Gmail account or Antroid Market but it doesn't work.I keep getting "Cannot establish a reliable connection with server.This could be a temporaty problem or your SIM card may not be provisioned for data service,. If it continues, call Customer care.Do I have to have data plan? If that's case, how did my son logged on to his account?

Jan 21, 2010Alright whats up people I was recently searching through and through for a way to get mobile internet without paying that ridiculous android price so as I was searching I stumbled across a regular behold forum at Samsung Behold Forum - New Proxy (TMobileX (Free Internet!)) - UPDATE: Analysis 01.07.10 -> 1500 Users because someone said free internet for it and I gave it a run to see if it would work with our behold 2 and surely enough it does.
Instructions on how to use proxy:
Open up the (default) browser on your Samsung Behold.
Type in the following address into the : tmo-x.co.cc/tmobilex/
Type in the address you want to visit in the form on the page and select whether or not you want to use my HTML trick (free; allows you to see sites in full HTML not 'WAP-stripped').

Jan 13, 2010After many attempts to try and use the terminal emulator that is already preloaded onto the behold 2 , and many failures..After trying out different Terminal Em.'s and always having my phone lag because they wernt made for it...i have finally found a way to get terminal emulator working with no lag or no slow down in performance... First you must have root,of course, Next, Use an app called root explorer or something similar and goto the folder /system/app/ and find the two files Term.apk and Term.odex, and MOVE them to your sd card from your phone,you want them gone from your system/app folder After that simply goto the market and search for Terminal Emulator , re-download and there you have it, Working term. em. on the behold 2.Peace Ladz.

Jun 11, 2010G1 and my Behold 2 her phone had good reception and the behold had nearly none. Half the time I don't get phone calls. They go straight to VM. My roommate's BB pearl gets double the reception mine does. My other roommate's Nokia gets even better reception. All on the T-mo network. Another friend who has a G1 same thing, he has reception I don't. Not to mention the other problems I have had. This is my 3rd Behold II by the way. Been replaced twice and back to Samsung for 3 weeks once.

Samsung Behold 2 :: Has Anyone Gotten Better Keyboard On A Behold 2?
Jan 10, 2010Has anyone gotten a better keyboard on a Behold 2? Every time i install Better Keyboard or the voice type, my Behold locks up (4 hard resets yesterday). I get an error about twsettings, the phone starts to mess up, i reboot, and it locks up. I cant get it to finish booting. It freezes on the android logo screen (45 minutes). I like Better Keyboard.I really dont like the Samsung keyboard but im sick of hard resets.
