Jun 9, 2010How do you delete and completely remove the preinstalled FACEBOOK Application from a HTC Hero Android phone? I just got my Sprint HTC Hero Android phone and I noticed that it comes preloaded with FACEBOOK. While I know that most people would consider that great, I don't. Do to my job, I am prohibited from using FACEBOOK or MYSPACE and therefore, would have absolutly no use for the application. Please let me know how I can safely delete it so that I can free up memory on my HTC Hero.

On the bookmarks swipe gesture, which brings up your bookmarks, how do I make my Dolphin HD bookmarks show, instead of the generic browsers??? Jul 14, 2010Today I downloaded the new Opera Mini 5.1 and is very nice. My problem is that I would like to delete some of the bookmarks in the Start Page and can't. When you hold down the bookmark it appears a pop screen with the choices to delete or edit, but you can't really press it. Anyone tried to delete a bookmark?

Oct 18, 2009I added some bookmarks to the Bookmark Widget that i don't want any longer, but i can't figure out how to delete them. I found another post about the G1 where it said to long press, but that only allows the whole widget to be removed and not individual bookmarks.
I've tried changing the name/link of the bookmarks and all that does is add another bookmark. Please help, now i have too many bookmarks i don't want.

Jul 20, 2010There's a new version of Facebook available on the Market, but because the Desire comes with the official Facebook app already installed it doesn't prompt you to update it.When you click to install the version on the Market, the phone is clever enough detect the preinstalled one and applies it as an update, so you don't end up with two Facebook apps in the phone menu or Manage Apps menu. After installing it the Manage Apps option changes from 'Clear data' to 'Uninstall updates' and the version has gone from 114 to 121. You'll also notice that the 'Take photo' tile has now been replaced with 'Inbox'. There's still no option to tag people in images.
