Is there anyway in the stock app or in another app to make folders for your pics and file them there? Having them all just in one big folder is annoying to me! I LOVE organization.

Anyone using any cool apps/widgets for organizing your photos and music? I'm not a huge fan of the stock ones and am looking for something else I might like.
View 8 Replies View Relatedi dont think u can set up new folders on the htc desire its self so i plugged it into my laptop and chose 'disk drive' on the phone. when i go into 'DCIM' ans '100 Media' i add a new folder but it doesnt appear on the phone.

View 21 Replies View RelatedIs it possible? I made 2 folders on my home screen and renamed them. But I notice everytime I drag and add an app inside the folder there is no way (at least that I can find) to move them around in the order I would like them to be in. Theres no way to drag them around and organize them without taking them out completely then re adding them in order. Am I doing something wrong? Is this possible? If not with stock folders is there an app that lets me do this?

Is there a way to get to certain photo faster, because if i need a photo thats all the way on the bottom, it takes forever to always scroll down.. also.. can i sort them all by name? it appears they're sorted by date modified.

Today, I had some spare time so I tried to download an attachment. It downloaded fine but when I went to view it, I received a pop-up box to save it to the sd card. After pressing ok, I was told the save was successful but now I can't find it. Aside from pics and videos, how do I access other folders with saved data?

When I attach a file and pic to send as mms in handscent they are all alphabetical but in 2 sections. i'll scroll down through a-z, then after that it starts a-z again with other rigntones. They are all stored in same folder. Why is there 2 sections of ringtones instead of just all in one a-z list?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just been doing a bit of exploring via Astro and have noticed that my photos are stored in a folder titled DCIM.Inside this folder there are a few folders and loose files.thumbnails - contains a few files but I have no idea what they are.There are 13 random photos (not in their own folder) which were in the gallery when I received the phone.An empty Camera folder - what is this for? 100 Media - A folder with all the pictures I have taken.Could somebody clarify what the .thumbnails folder and Camera folder are for? View 3 Replies View RelatedAnyways, on every other phone I've ever had, text messaging had a regular group of folders such as Inbox, Sent, Deleted, Outbox, etc. I do not see this on my Eris. I can see the new ones of course but not sure where my sent items are (if anywhere?) and where my deleted items go (permanently deleted?). I've had a couple of texts deleted that I needed later on but couldn't find so it's irritating enough to start searching for answers!

Is there a way to reduce the spacing between folder icons? For example, 2.1 gives us four locations horizontally and vertically, but 5x5 should still allow accurate finger detection.
