May 21, 2010Is there anyway to create folders for Photos? Right now I only have "Camera Pictures", "All Photos" and "All Downloads", but I want to be able to create my own folders etc...

Aug 19, 2010I've seen a few posts about this but nothing to say definitively (thank god for spell check!) if it's possible or not. On my HTC Legend (HTC Sense with Android 2.1) if you go to add and folder from a homescreen you have a choice of All people, Facebook Phonebook, Phones, Starred (Favorites). Is it possible to create another folder that will hold members of a contact group that I have created? I can create a new empty folder but don't know how to put contacts into this instead of other home screen icons (this would do if I can't use contact groups).

Jul 29, 2010I've just been doing a bit of exploring via Astro and have noticed that my photos are stored in a folder titled DCIM.Inside this folder there are a few folders and loose files.thumbnails - contains a few files but I have no idea what they are.There are 13 random photos (not in their own folder) which were in the gallery when I received the phone.An empty Camera folder - what is this for? 100 Media - A folder with all the pictures I have taken.Could somebody clarify what the .thumbnails folder and Camera folder are for? Also, can I "tidy up" this area of my phone, and would the phone still recognise and find the files? Could I create a folder which newly taken photographs will automatically be located?

Jan 24, 2013I've been using android for a while now, and I actually can move smoothly througth the system. But now I want to update for the first time my firmware with a newer custom rom. And I have some doubts:
Usually all customs roms make you do the wipes. What what actually happens with that? I know what those directories have, but I guess the proccess only erases the apps and some configuration, right? Because I think some apps config are stored on the internal storage.
It is recommendable to make a backup of the folders to be wiped and then restore it? If it is, will the overall config be the same as before the rom change?

Sep 30, 2012I cannot make calls by entering Contacts -> Contact photo -> Call icon. When I do that, nothing happens, the call icon plays dummy with no action. Otherwise, when I click the contact name and then the phone number, the call action works just fine.

It's now version 1.32.161.4 and the root guide at 24/May r4 - HTC Legend rooting guide - Now with 1.31.x - Android @ MoDaCo says 1.31 and below is there any way to downgrade the Legend to what it was before? I think it was 1.21 or 1.23 not sure.

Feb 17, 2010I usually view email with attachments from my pc because I usually lack the time to download the attachment. Today, I had some spare time so I tried to download an attachment. It downloaded fine but when I went to view it, I received a pop-up box to save it to the sd card. After pressing ok, I was told the save was successful but now I can't find it.
