Is anyone aware of a way to organize pictures on the Eris? I have almost 400 pics all listed under Camera shots and, of course, anytime I am looking for 1 specific pic, I have to filter through them all. I have tried everything that I know of on my phone outside of just purging pics. If I create separate folders on my SD card, will it display that way in the album?

Today, I had some spare time so I tried to download an attachment. It downloaded fine but when I went to view it, I received a pop-up box to save it to the sd card. After pressing ok, I was told the save was successful but now I can't find it. Aside from pics and videos, how do I access other folders with saved data?

View 11 Replies View RelatedAfter the 2.1 OTA a lot of random photos were thrown in my photo album under separate files, I think one is named something like keyboard...and another one called icons maybe. They are just screen shots of the swype keyboard. I tried to delete them after I dl'd the Nexus Gallery (which is awesome btw thank you Androzoid) but they just came back. Has anyone else had this happen? I haven't tried to delete them yet straight from the SD card to see if that works. Is it okay to delete these or do they serve some purpose?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter changing my SD card with a larger one, my music album pictures on HTC music player/widget does not show anymore. I copied everything from my old SD card to the new one. Also, the new SD card have a different name from the old one. Old is labeled as 'Removable Disk' while new one is 'Kingston'. Also, album thumbs folder becomes empty (before it contains files from old album thumbs folder).
View 6 Replies View Relatedthe Camera on my Eris will not take pictures due to an error saying it has insufficient file permissions to save pictures to my SD card. I have not unmounted my SD card since this has happened nor did I do it before. I have unmounted it before, but it was never a problem. The camera will not save pictures at all not matter what app is using the camera (Default Android Camera, Facebook, Photoshop Mobile).
View 3 Replies View RelatedIve tried help that i found online, as in hooking up to computer and adding folders, but still, if i go to the gallery i have 2 folders regardless. "my pics" and "all pics". it doesnt show any folders. if i snap a pic itll be in "my pics", any other pic i add just goes into "all pics". this is frustrating as i want it neat and easily navigated... not going thru every picture i have.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy girlfriend made me several mix CD's for Christmas, and I'd very much prefer to just rip them to my Droid since I use that as my primary MP3 player now. The problem I'm having is that even though I place the ripped MP3's into a folder named as I want it to appear under artists, and then the subfolder named as I want the album to appear in the music player, once I go into the player on my Droid it just says "Unknown Artist" then "Unknown Album." I don't understand why it's doing this, because I have the folder named the way I want them to appear and it's not working, yet other music I downloaded in my music folder is correctly showing up on the player. To better illustrate what I mean: In my music folder on the SD card, I just added a folder "CD1" with the album "Album1" inside that, with the tracks inside that. INstead of on the player it being displayed as "CD1" under artist" and then "album 1" under the album drop down, it just says "Unknown Artist" and then "Unknown Album," but the tracks are there.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy problem is nothing major but its just annoying and im looking for a fix, after formatting my phones memory card (the one that came with the phone) all the photo's that i take with the camera saved under "Camera Roll" in mediascape but are then also doubled up into an album, i was just wondering if someone would be able to tell me how to stop it the phone making doubles of the photos, the phone never use to do this before i formatted the memory card.

When I open up the music player app, it shows my ringtones and mp3's all together. How do I keep them separate? I don't want my ringtones playing in my music app. The same issue applies to my pictures. So far I have three email accounts including my gmail account on my eris. When I first setup my msn, and school email I was able to separate the accounts into two separate icons. Now that I have figured out how to add my yahoo account I would like to have a separate icon for this also but can't figure out how I did this the first time.

Unfortunately all the album art also shows up under "pictures". Is there anyway to tell the G1 to stop looking for pictures in my music folder?
When I would get an MMS slideshow on my Blackberry, it would auto-play and I could view it no problem. When I get an MMS slideshow on the Eris it shows up as a text message with an attachment and each slide is a separate image inside that attachment and I have to click on the initial attachment then I see a list of all of the images and I have to click on each one individually to see it, then back out of that image and rinse and repeat. Is there anyway to get this to work right?

I'm trying to email and "odt" file from the builtin gmail program, but i'm only able to mail documents like xls and doc with documentreader. Or I can mail pictures though album. isn't it possible to use any filebrowser and send what file I want. like zip, rar, odt, pdf etc?
