I tried to sync my Eris with my old phone and I got to the point where it let me put in a passcode but I was unable to send my pictures from my old phone to my Eris. Anyone know why? I don't want to have to send my pictures 1 by 1 via text.

Handcent wont send them at all so I deleted it, I sent one photo through regular text message, but no more will send.

View 7 Replies View Relatedthe Camera on my Eris will not take pictures due to an error saying it has insufficient file permissions to save pictures to my SD card. I have not unmounted my SD card since this has happened nor did I do it before. I have unmounted it before, but it was never a problem. The camera will not save pictures at all not matter what app is using the camera (Default Android Camera, Facebook, Photoshop Mobile).

I took it to the Verizon store yesterday and they told me that it is a known issue with the phone, and they are working on corrective software to solve the problem. Anyone else have the same issue ? (They wanted to do a hard reset which I declined).

View 14 Replies View RelatedMy wife sent an email to her work email. It did not arrive and now she keeps getting a "unable to send mail (hotmail)" notification. And it wont stop. She gets the notification every 5 min or so. I deleted the outgoing message but that didn't fix it. I turned notifications off and then then on and that didn't fix it.

If I click on it, it takes me to the edit email account screen. When I go through the steps it says authentication failed even though my gmail account is fine. I don't know how to fix this. Also when I go to all programs I have 2 internet, 2 maps, and 2 navigator icons that weren't there before and won't delete.
View 11 Replies View RelatedEven after numerous factory resets, through both the Volume Down+Send+End and Settings>Privacy>Factory Reset methods, my Eris has been unable to send or receive texts, and will not allow me to send or receive calls. When I try to text, I get an SMS error with Cause Code: 34 and Error Class: 3. When I try to call, I get an automated error saying that my phone can't be authenticated at this time, and am advised to call #8899. Even after doing so, I get the same authentication error. Wi-Fi seems to work correctly, and my Google and Facebook accounts all sync pretty much perfectly. Is anyone else having any kind of problem like this? And, either way, does anyone know of any possible alternatives that may fix the problem besides a total replacement of the phone?

View 1 Replies View Relatedjust noticed this recently when I decided to change my wallpaper, luckily I have back ups of these pictures. but when I load an image on the SD card from my PC and then when the phone reloads the card it will delete all the data within the file. I even tried renaming the directory to see if this will resolve the issue but it doesn't the phone still continues to destroy the file. it will destroy images from zedge as well. it does preserve a few files that were loaded by scanner or by the camera. so those are the only ones still viewable. this is a rooted phone fyi not sure if it matters in this case. I discovered the problem with vanilla rom, and then swapped back to eris2.1official. phone still does it.

But I do miss Windows Live since I'm a hotmail user (no switch to gmail comments please).My desktop gmail through the web is set up to "Send As" my hotmail account, but if I send a new email via my phone, it sends it from my gmail username.I did a search and it was inconclusive.
