HTC Droid Eris :: Unable To Send Pictures From Old Phone To New
Dec 7, 2009I tried to sync my Eris with my old phone and I got to the point where it let me put in a passcode but I was unable to send my pictures from my old phone to my Eris. Anyone know why? I don't want to have to send my pictures 1 by 1 via text.

I took it to the Verizon store yesterday and they told me that it is a known issue with the phone, and they are working on corrective software to solve the problem. Anyone else have the same issue ? (They wanted to do a hard reset which I declined).

Nov 18, 2009My battery was giving me around six hours of life despite anything I did, so I decided to try to perform a factory reset and see if that helped anything. Well, I did the factory reset and the phone is back up and running (battery still sucks, though) but I can't seem to send any text messages.

Apr 20, 2010Why am I not able to send Picture messages? Every time I try to send a picture through text messaging, it says I cannot do it. Why? I downloaded Handcent App and I would love to use it, but When I do use it, I get text messages sent to the App I downloaded, and to the default text messaging that came with the hero. How can I make my text messages only send to Handcent SMS instead of Both? I'm new at having a cell phone that has so much you can do with it, so I will probably have tons of more questions, but these are the 2 questions that I would love to be figured out first and then eventually I will ask others when I have them.

Apr 5, 2010Is it possible to save a picture that is sent to you using the stock messaging program on the Droid? If not what is a good replacement app will let me do this? When creating shortcuts to call or message someone is there a way to get rid of the M (H, W, etc) that is put in the upper left corner of the icon on my screen? I don't mind the little phone or convo. icons in the right corner but the M is just too big and covers up a good bit of the icon

Aug 12, 2010My issue is that I am unable to send mail using an email account on my web domain - I get a generic message that states something similar to the email is unable to be sent. I was previously able to email on my old Blackberry using the same account, so I would think it'd be possible on the Droid X. I have tried all ports I saw suggested in the forums on my web host's site but none of the three I tried work for me. I am able to receive mail without any problems and my web host confirmed the below settings should be correct. I know for certain that the user name requires the full email address, rather than just the user name portion. Please see below and let me know what I need to change to get this working. May 5, 2010I'm having issues with sending text messages to a few people and they aren't even all on the same carrier.I have been using CM 5.0.6.1 and really haven't had any problem until today.I switched to the stock 2.1 with root because i thought that maybe it was the rom and still these people can't receive my text messages they can send me messages and I receive them but I cannot send them out.I have reactivated my phone twice now and nothing has worked.Any help would be much appreciated.I know I said in the title i can't receive them but I can sorry i'm kind of tired at the moment.

I see others are having the same problem though.I have the Droid X I am using the messaging that the phone came with not an added app (I am on Verizon). When I try to reply to a text from my husband I get a message saying "unable to deliver. Please re-send with area code". He is in my address book with an area code and the callback number has the area code. But next to his name it does not have the area code (again, it is entered in my phone with an area code). I have tried to delete his phone number, text my phone with his phone, and reply, but that still does not work. It is so frustrating and weird. Even when I do not have him in the address book the call back number (shown as cb#) has the area code, but up higher when his name would be does not have the area code.
