Aug 8, 2010I was wondering if anyone knows how to sort pictures so that the newer pictures are at the beginning of the list? The default is that new pictures are all the way at the bottom, and since I have over a hundred pictures its annoying to scroll all the way to the bottom. I don't see any option to sort the pictures in any other way.

Sep 5, 2010I've had a stock Froyo EVO for a couple of weeks. A colleague got one before me and one thing that he reported was that after the Froyo update he could not send pictures in the stock Mail app. I have replicated this. No matter the picture size, it will not send through the Maill app. Gmail works fine for this. My colleague says it worked before, but has broken on 2.2. Has this issue come up before? I couldn't find any threads for it. It's very annoying, because one of the main uses we have for the phone is to snap pictures of machines in the field and send them back to the office. Any help would be appreciated.

Aug 21, 2010I dropped my Incredible the other day and the screen cracked and is now completely black. Luckily Verizon will replace it for me under insurance (after paying my deductible). However before I send back the old phone I want to get my old pictures and texts off it. Is that possible?
The phone itself is working (lower soft keys light up, I can feel haptic feedback, etc). NOTHING appears on the screen however. When I plug my USB cable in, I get a sound on my PC indicating a USB device is plugged in, but since I can't see the phone screen, I can't mount the device via the notifications menu.

Jun 10, 2010I am using the People widget to display the Favorites group on one of my panels.
I figured out how to get the picture from the phone to be the one used for the contacts, but three of them keep reverting to the facebook pictures and I can't figure out why.

I get really bad reception in my house and it will go from edge, to 3G, to no data signal. Feb 17, 2014I have a note 3, and when i try to send pictures (.jpeg) through the stock messaging app, it says "select different media" and will not allow me to send it. if i choose hangouts to send the same picture, it will send. however, a friend of mine using a droid x2 ALWAYS says he doesn't get the pictures. he only gets a blank message. when i try sending the same picture through hangouts to my girlfriends S4, a preview of the picture will show on the conversation list of hangouts, but when you open the conversation, the picture does not show and it is also a blank message. if she opens the stock messaging app, the picture will show in there.

Sep 17, 2010I have a question about data usage while roaming. Multimedia messages are the same as data, thus I cannot send a picture message while roaming (I have my phone set to reject data if roaming). But sometimes I do not notice the roaming signal until after I hit send. If this happens, my EVO will continue to try to send the message and will alert me of the failure every couple of minutes.
Is there a way to stop this from happening? In other words, if I try to send a picture message, and I am roaming, is there a way to put the whole process on hold until I get a full signal again? It is very annoying to have it keep beeping at me. The only way I can stop it is to put the phone on Airplane mode. But then I can't do voice calls, or send and receive regular texts.

Jun 21, 2012I have a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant rooted to ICS passion 13.1 and it uses the 3.1.10_ICS_KissYum_yum_good #1 Kernel. I rooted this phone from Froyo 2.2 down to Eclir then to CM7 and then ICS.
Anyways I think that is enough info but the issue I have is I cannot send or receive pictures via text. I used to be able to and I know the plan for Tmo supports it but even if I try to send one to myself all it does is say 'sending message'. I never get one in my inbox and it never gives the time of when it was delivered, or sent out. When someone else sends one to me, it shows the size of the file with a little button that says Download, next to it. Even if i turn wifi on and connect to my router then hit 'download' it doesn't do anything. I don't have the Data plan but I don't think that would cause the issue would it?

Nov 24, 2012I just bought a Galaxy S3 this morning (first Android phone ever!) and for some reason, I haven't been able to send/receive any pictures to/from any of my friends who has an iPhone. I went into At&t earlier tonight and several people without iPhones sent me pictures and received pictures from me with no problems, but everyone with an iPhone couldn't receive my pictures. The techs there told me to try and use the lowest camera resolution and I was able to get one picture to send but still wasn't able to receive any pictures.
