So before i got the droid eris i could send picures from the computer to my verizon phone with vzw pics but now that i have the droid eris i cant do that. so does anyone know how to send pictures from the computer to the droid eris?

I have created Java RMI programs with a server and multiple clients, so I have a grasp of the concept. However with android I'm just not sure where to start.
What I am aiming to do is send some sort of information (could simply be text) to my computer and my computer will do an action. I have the GUI interface's and the actions to be carried out all worked out, just the sending of some sort of information is getting me.
I have no problem sending a file from my computer to my phone via bluetooth. However I cant seem to figure out how to send files from my phone to my computer. I tried using bluetooth file transfer from the app market but its not working.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI own a T-Mobile Comet and have been able to download the iPhone MMS messages and send pictures before. I have owned this phone for roughly a year, and starting a couple weeks ago I have been unable to receive the MMS messages or send my pictures, I use Handcent. What happens when I get the message- It says Subject:no subject 1 KB and has a download button, after I press it all that happens is it says "Downloading" for hours on end and never actually does. When I send pictures the send spiral just spins endlessly and it doesn't send. My mobile data is on, my WiFi is off and I'm not sure what else I need to do.

View 4 Replies View RelatedLately, not all the time, whenever I send a text, I watch the reception bar at the top and it is not dropping to 1x to send the text. In addition, some of my friends have not been receiving my texts when I send them.
Are these two things related? I swear I've seen it before where it drops to 1x to send the text, and then goes back to 3G..
I guess it's also possible that the phone is dropping to 1x, but the bar up top isn't updating?
My phone is incapable of sending MMS messages...everytime I try, the phone goes to send the message, but never completes sending. I have tried the default message app, as well as Handcent.Same results with both. Any tips for what I may be doing wrong? Only other piece of info that might be relevant is that the picture I'm trying to send first says "picture too large - resize?" and then I do resize it (comes out at 9k I believe).
View 15 Replies View RelatedI sync my Eris with Outlook on my computer but have not done so since March 2010. When I now plug my Eris into a USB port, it does not recognize it as another drive or hardware like it used to. The computer does recognize other peripherals when plugged into the USB port.

I'm pretty sure that my Eris is faster and better than this computer in every respect except for screen size, but I wonder, how does the Eris's processor compare to other x86 processors out there? I want to dial from my computer, speak through my computer's microphone and hear the other person through my computer's speakers. I don't want to use VOIP though, I just want a program that will sync those functions with my phone. When I send the phone back to them, should I put Leak V3 on the phone so that the numbers match up better, or do you guys think it will matter? Should I somehow just erase that HBOOT thing off of the phone and just send it to them all bricked? I'm trying to hide evidence of leak installation as best as possible so that they don't decide to charge me or something for the replacement. input Good news is my wife is finally getting a new phone after I jacked it up with the leak.

View 3 Replies View Relatedjust noticed this recently when I decided to change my wallpaper, luckily I have back ups of these pictures. but when I load an image on the SD card from my PC and then when the phone reloads the card it will delete all the data within the file. I even tried renaming the directory to see if this will resolve the issue but it doesn't the phone still continues to destroy the file. it will destroy images from zedge as well. it does preserve a few files that were loaded by scanner or by the camera. so those are the only ones still viewable. this is a rooted phone fyi not sure if it matters in this case. I discovered the problem with vanilla rom, and then swapped back to eris2.1official. phone still does it.
