I'm looking for a good screen grabber. ShootMe has some good reviews but many are complaining that you can't turn of the sound.
Does anyone have any experience with ShootMe or another good screen grabber app?

Is there another good Weather Widget that will show the weather move on the screen? Like with the HTC Default on 2.1 if its raining there are rain drops all on your screen, if it is cloudy clouds move across the background..is there another widget that will do this?

I like the Eris a lot but there ARE a couple things that I think I'm getting tired of. First is it's slow most of the time, and second, the camera is just not living up to my expectations. View 16 Replies View RelatedIf this has already been posted i looked at the search windows to see if there where some related ones and didn't find any. i was wounding if there was any good SMS/MMS apps out there that don't make your phone laggy and is there a way to make it so like Chomp or Handcent comes up in Advanced Task Killer instead of stock messaging. in other words can i make it so my stock messaging app donesnt even start up and my Market app is there. also is there a good keyboard app that is better than the stock one and again doesn't make my phone laggy.

Ive been playing with the stock MP3 player, and likes the way it intergrates with the lock screen, but I find that it repeats lots of songs while in shuffle mode on playlists ><. I tried a few of the Meridian and Mixzing players, and really don't like the interfaces, and Intergration into the lock screen is a major + for me which neiither of these have. I guess what i'm looking for is something to replace my ipod 30GB (4th Gen?) thats slowly showing its age. That was the most user friendly, functional music player ive ever used.

Lasted over 8 days. I can't post the pic now because I'm on my phone, but I'll upload it later.
It seems like since the 2.1 install, the home button is not nearly as sensitive. Also the screen sensitivity seems lower as well. I have to try several times to get it to click. Is there a way to change the sensitivity??

It has the best facebook app on its homepage and IMO it is way superior to any out there.The browsing is super fast and you have the ability to download videos from your favorite sites to your sd card. Probably my favorite app side from personal assistant.

From the Cnet review, it looks like the unit doesn't come with a screen protector. What kind works good with a capacitive screen? I have a Hero now, but no protector on it. But with the Droid X's monster screen, I will need one.

I tried lockbot, but it changes style on every lock, and it has some weird bug where if I use the button to lock it, it goes black, then the unlock screen appears (screen doesn't turn off). I do not care much about theming it myself as long as it has a halfway decent theme to begin with, but I do not want to pay for it (yes, I am cheap :P ) and want to get rid of the lag associated with the default lock screen.

View 2 Replies View RelatedYesterday when I was going to sleep, I had my phone plugged in when I received a text. I attempted to unlock the phone, and it wouldn't! I started freaking out a bit, finally was able to unlock it, but had a tough time replying using the keyboard. It seemed the screen was spazzing out. When I unplugged the phone, everything was fine. I installed the free Paint application and ran some tests. As can be seen, using a charger that outputs > 850mA (the stock charger's value) is no good for touch sensitivity. If anyone can chime in with other concerns, that would be very helpful. I find that the 1000mA charger definitely charges the phone faster; does anyone think that this is bad for the phone (aside from the screen issue)?
I misread the stock charger's amperage initially; I thought it was 250mA, which is why I'm using the 1000mA. I think for now I'll switch to the stock charger. I would like to use the 1000mA if any other users think that would be fine. I don't have a problem unplugging it to use it.
Anyone found a good lock screen replacement? Ive tried LockBot and Lock 2.0 neither seemed to work correctly on the X.
View 18 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC Evo that hangs up on everyone that calls me.I keep the phone in my pocket and, in trying to pull it out to answer a call, my leg slides the bar.I could keep the phone in my pocket upside down and then I would answer every call but that isn't much of an alternative.I am looking for something that overrides the Sense's lockscreen/answer screen.I tried both GoTo and WidgetLocker.Both are great programs but neither addresses the incoming call issue.
