View 2 RepliesI am using LN 8.5 and syncing the calendar and contacts to my Incredible. There are only certain calendar entries that are not syncing successfully to my phone. I have tried the following, with no luck:
1) Completely erase the calendar on my phone.
2) Removed the calendar entries from Lotus Notes and re-added them. One entry is a repeating entry in which I was not the creator of the entry. The other entry was a single entry in which I was not the creator.
3) Done a soft reset of my device and rebooted my PC.
Does anyone know how to convert Outlook emails or contacts (PST to NSF) to the Lotus Notes 8?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI wrote up a method to do sync with Lotus Notes using CompanionLink. Of all the products I've look at, they all offered Sync via Internet and no USB. Recently CompanionLink Announced a USB version coming soon. Sync with Lotus Notes - Android Sync Lotus Notes (CompanionLink Software) | Mobile Technology Deals and Help. This is what they recently announced.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Nokia could synchronise with his easily (and over Bluetooth!). I know there isn't a specific app for Android which will let me do this with the Hero, but wondered if anybody know's of a 'two step approach'. i.e. get Lotus Notes to sync the calender with, say, Google Calender; then get the Hero to sync with google calender.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm wondering if there is a way for me to access Domino Web (work email through the internet) from my Samsung Moment. I have no problem accessing my work email from any regular computer, but when I try to access it with my phone a message comes back saying the server is not available (ie. it won't let me in from my mobile phone). I don't know if this is a firewall security thing with Lotus Notes/Server administration or if my phone's browser can't handle it. Is there a certain android browser I should be using or is there an app that I can download that will allow me to access my webmail? When a mobile device tries to access a site, does the site know it's a mobile device? Is there any way around this? The way I access work email through the internet is by going to a specific web site and logging into the site. From there I can see my email. I can't do this with my phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have searched all over the internet, but I couldnt find any app that allows me to sync my Lotus Notes calender with my HTC Magic. All I have found are applications that sync Lotus Notes over Google Calender. It's serious company security guideline offense, and I sure as hell do not want my corporate data to be uploaded to a 3rd party server. I cannot believe that there is no app. ( now when the 2nd generation Android phones are starting to emerge) that can sync via USB, without resorting to Google Calendar.
This is a serious issue for me, and I am sure for other business users aswell, that do not want their company data to be uploaded to Google. I am very well aware that Lotus/Domino is not as popular as Outlook/Exchange, but alas, I have no choice, since it's my companies messaging platform of choice. Am I missing out on something? Can anyone point me towards an app that I have perhaps omitted?
Just give me my USB-sync back!
I need to be able to sync my Lotus notes calendar and contacts with my HTC Hero. The sync must be done directly from my desktop to the phone, so what I am looking for is a one step sync. For security reasons I can not use a two step process where I sync notes to google email or other providers. It is not necessary to sync email, only calendar and contacts. Is this possible?
Thanks for your help

View 18 Replies View RelatedI am a new user to the thread. My Eris is not rooted. It keeps syncing Gmail, weather, and Facebook. It will stop and then start again. Every time I look down at the phone it is syncing. I've tried taking the battery out. I finally unchecked background data on the "Accounts and Sync". Is there another way to fix this?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a good program for notes/todo lists that's properly syncing with gmail calendar/todo list or at least gmail docs or something on the google's cloud. If it has a widget that would simply be great...need it to store the notes offline as well, not just online like evernote.

View 5 Replies View RelatedHas anyone been able to compare the Galaxy S and the Evo firsthand? I canceled my Evo order to see what the S Pro will be like. On paper I feel that except for the Evo's slightly bigger screen the Galaxy S has better features including better screen technology, but as we've heard with some peoples' Evos there can be hidden issues. Any thoughts? I guess it's not really possible to do a side by side comparison yet unless someone has one of the handsets and travels to a country where they're selling the other one, or has had a chance to use a prototype.
