HTC Droid Eris : Find Good Apps I Miss From Apple
Jan 21, 2010I really miss a few apps I had on my iPhone:
1) What's On...(it took me a while to find a good app on my Eris, Tv Guide for the US
2) Wikipedia...I searched for this and never found anything
3) Dictionary....it was a simple dictionary and thesaurus app. Any suggestions for a replacement?
4) AllRecipes...I could not find one decent recipe app out there...PLEASE are there any I might have missed?
5) Epicurus
Are there any other good apps I'm missing? Please suggest some to me.

Motorola Droid :: Way To Find Web For A Good Belt Case / Holster For Phone?
Nov 8, 2009So I'm looking around the web for a good belt case / holster for my new Droid, but all the ones I've seen have a magnetic flap to keep them closed. While this is great, wont this confuse the Droid into thinking it's docked (and thus drain the battery)?

Do you guys have any suggestions on which full body protectors work great, and wheter or not BodyGuardz make goo products?I was wanting to by the Invisible Shield from Zaggs, but they're on a 2 week back order.Also, I'm wanting a case or holster for my Eris, any suggestions?

Nov 25, 2009I can't sync between my PC, Vista 32 bit, and my Eris. I can mount the SD card and transfer pictures, etc. I have enabled USB Debugging. I have installed/re-installed HTC sync several times. I have disabled my virus software.I get the HTC Sync notification when I plug in the Eris, but when I tap it to start connecting, nothing. The PC bleeps at me as if it has recognized a new device, but the Eris never finds the HTC sync software (yes it is open). It finally reports that it can't find HTC Sync on the PC.The first time, Windows installed several device drivers, including the HTC driver. "My HTC" driver is visible in the Device Manager and reports it is working properly. This last time, I got a Windows Error stating the HTCVBTServer module had stopped working.I can't find any information on this.

May 22, 2010Been messing around for a very long time with apps to see exactly what is causing this, and never found anything. Recently i downloaded Launcherpro and the problem has not come up since then (knock on wood). Maybe it could be HTC Sense?

I had a Body Glove one for my previous phone, a Samsung Glyde, worst phone ever made BTW, and it broke within 2 months, and I had another similar one for my Droid, the first one broke in less than a month and the one the store replaced it with broke in just over 2 months. I know I will more than likely not find what I am looking for because the slide out keyboard is a selling point for this phone, but mine keeps sliding out in my pocket and I am concerned that the open portion of the keyboard might bend, flex or crack if it is bent the wrong way.
