So my Eris no matter what player I use will eventually start skipping. It'll also start playing a song skip to another , then another then back to the original and then call my voicemail. Other times when I dont even have a music app open and try to send a text it'll start playing a song. Anyone have any clue what is going on?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am really happy with my Droid Eris, but there is one exception. I listen to Pandora on my phone almost daily at work. I have a radio that has an audio input so I connect my phone and play it through the radio. The problem is when someone calls me. I usually don't answer and call them right back from the work line, but sometimes, like today, I get frustrated and I want to answer the cell. First, if I don't disconnect the headphone jack the person calling cannot hear me. Second, if I disconnect it and take the call as soon as the call disconnects the music starts and it is usually blaring! This happened today and I was so embarrassed when the song 'Broken Wings' by Mr. Mister went blaring and about 30 people could hear it and the phone was not responding to turn it off! I really hope someone can help me with this issue.

Google Maps & Latitude, Youtube, the Market will not load properly and will either give error messages or won't load at all. Gmail, Voice, Gtalk and the web still work. I have did a couple reboots, pulled the battery, cleared the cache and nothing has helped. Any suggestions short of a factory restore or the Verizon store?

I suppose that if I manually take it off the SD card, it will be the same extension. How do I deal with these files? VLC, QuickTime did not play it. Windows Movie Maker did not open it either. On a Mac it worked fine and flawlessly.

I notice that when i start it up, Pandora immediately starts skipping songs till it runs out of song skips. Then it will start playing normally. Other times the service won't run at all while it's plugged in.
When i don't have the Eris hooked up to the car Pandora works flawlessly, has anyone else experienced this problem?
I loaded about 4 gigs worth of videos (About 160 different clips) onto my 8 gig SD card. When I try to play a video, the video freezes after about 1-2 seconds, but the sound keeps playing. Is there any way to solve this? There's just over 3 gigs of free space on the card.

View 1 Replies View Relatedhow y'all organize your music on the Eris. I have been just clicking and dragging from the computer to the SD card in a folder created "music." I would like to group all my songs into genres (blues, rock, etc.). The only way I've been able to do this is by adding songs to a playlist on the phone, which is way to time consuming. I have yet to sync my desktop w/ my computer. Would this make organizing any easier?

"Now playing", "Shuffle all", "Play all", "Add to playlist", "Change order", "Set as ringtone", "Repeat", Properties", Shuffle On/Off"...
I used it to replace the stock app because i hate the look of it. this is the best music app i have found. also comes with some nice widgets.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've had my Eris for a couple months now, and initially came on this site and learned how to use double twist to import my Itunes music onto my Eris. Recently, this has not worked. Something about having to use droid sync on my computer and telephone. I downloaded HTC Sync onto my computer and cannot figure out for the life of me how to use the thing. It tells me I need to insert my Microsoft Office XP Small Business cd, I do not have this so I cant do that. Please, someone please tell me the easiest way to import my music onto my phone? This is very frustrating. I certainly am not the most intelligent person when it comes to this kind of thing, so if anyone has a solution to my problem, please be sure to include minor details. I really appreciate any input.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've tried several different methods for getting one of my iTunes playlists moved to the Eris but I'm having a difficult time. I finally just dragged and dropped a bunch of music over but how do I organize that into a playlist? Do I have to do it from the Eris itself (which involves adding every single song, one by one)? I have tried mounting the SD card and creating a playlist folder under the main music folder but that doesn't seem to work. The playlist is already created on the Eris and I moved a few songs over for testing, but when the card is mounted to the PC I can't find how the playlist is stored.....am I making any sense? Sure hope so.
