Does anyone know of a way to adjust the eq on music? Either by custom or rock, rap, jazz, etc.
Also, is there anyway to make it so that music will cut off if headphones are unplugged? I have accidentally unplugged my headphones at work and the music starts blasting and I am embarassed.

Im an audiophile....and many sites said that the HTC legend had great audio output...i dumped my old music phone and my walkman thinking this would be an all in one...but it doesnt have an eq: so is there anywhere i could get an equalizer for the phone ?

I rooted my Nexus 7(Wifi only), v4.2.1, with the Nexus 7 Toolkit v4.0.0. Since then the Equalizer presets from google's music app is gone and I cannot adjust the bass boost or 3D effect.
Update: I just restored back to stock and that solved the problem. May try to root again in future.
Is there a way to edit the volume to make it louder. my volume is up all the way and its just not loud enough

I just got the brand new Droid 2 Global, trading up (WAY up) from a BlackBerry Tour. The audio settings for my earbuds show "audio effects" that can be enabled, but the only one that works is "effects profile", which is a "sound stage" stereo separation thing. The other two are Surround and Equalizer, but they are grayed out and don't work. The Equalizer is stuck on the Extreme Bass setting. What gives? Why isn't there an actual EQ function on this thing?

It'll also start playing a song skip to another , then another then back to the original and then call my voicemail. Other times when I dont even have a music app open and try to send a text it'll start playing a song. Anyone have any clue what is going on?

I would like to group all my songs into genres (blues, rock, etc.). The only way I've been able to do this is by adding songs to a playlist on the phone, which is way to time consuming. I have yet to sync my desktop w/ my computer. Would this make organizing any easier?

"Now playing", "Shuffle all", "Play all", "Add to playlist", "Change order", "Set as ringtone", "Repeat", Properties", Shuffle On/Off"...
I used it to replace the stock app because i hate the look of it. this is the best music app i have found. also comes with some nice widgets.

Recently, this has not worked. Something about having to use droid sync on my computer and telephone. I downloaded HTC Sync onto my computer and cannot figure out for the life of me how to use the thing. It tells me I need to insert my Microsoft Office XP Small Business cd, I do not have this so I cant do that. Please, someone please tell me the easiest way to import my music onto my phone? This is very frustrating. I certainly am not the most intelligent person when it comes to this kind of thing, so if anyone has a solution to my problem, please be sure to include minor details. View 1 Replies View RelatedI've tried several different methods for getting one of my iTunes playlists moved to the Eris but I'm having a difficult time. I finally just dragged and dropped a bunch of music over but how do I organize that into a playlist? Do I have to do it from the Eris itself (which involves adding every single song, one by one)? I have tried mounting the SD card and creating a playlist folder under the main music folder but that doesn't seem to work. The playlist is already created on the Eris and I moved a few songs over for testing, but when the card is mounted to the PC I can't find how the playlist is stored.....am I making any sense? Sure hope so.

No matter what player I use (stock player, TuneWiki, MixZing, DroidLive, Last, LastFM, Pandora (to a slightly lesser degree)), music comes out incredibly muddled, like I'm listening through pillows over my ears. True of any of 5 pairs of headphones I use (and I'm not about to go out and buy $100 headphones), including through my car adapter.
