New update to ver. 3.0.5481 has just been installed. Issues include...
1) duplicate events in calendar
2) wrong dates for events
3) no sync after initial sync
I have reverted back to a working older version.

I have been getting duplicate entries for my exchange account contacts and calendar events. As many as 3 per contact and event. I have tried deleting the account and set up again, but it will happen again a few hours later.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI did a search but cant seem to find an answer. I finally got my work email set up through active sync. Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've recently got a a Tattoo and it is mostly fine (apart from the ridiculously hard to remove battery cover!). But the thing that is driving me nuts is how unstable HTC Sync is. I have uninstalled, re-installed on the PC and phone and had to delete all contacts on the phone once to "cleanse" and still every time I go to sync my calendar and contacts something goes wrong. Duplicates contacts and calendar entries in the phone and and on my PC! My work phone is windows and active sync is a dream compared to this!

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe calender sync feature puts in all future events but no past ones. This happens on both exchange and google calenders. The synch does not eliminate the past events on the exchange server on on my laptop google calender. My blackberry had a setting for this. I can not find a similar setting which allows me to retain the past events on the Droid.
View 7 Replies View RelatedGoogle Calendar on the web shows everything correct BUT, my Droid, even after syncing, shows duplicates of some Events - seems random - and these are not on the web Calendar as duplicates, also shows Events but does not show what they say unless you click on them - no text. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Google Calendar App syncs google calendar appointments just fine. But "Corporate" accounts, which include my Hotmail and GroupWise calendars, won't sync calendar appointments older than two weeks. Even worse: appointments from older than two weeks ago actually drop off.
On settings, I have it set to sync all. I tried adding and removing accounts. I tried deleting calendar memory/cache. I have even tried returning my Nexus 7. The replacement has the same issue.
Apparently everything works correctly, but when entering the application does not see any event. Neither I can create a new event.
My device is a Clone S4 came with Google Play but could not use Google Play services (needed to run Google Calendar), so install GAAP Core 4.2.2, everything worked except Google Calendar. Which are the (apps) files necessary to have Google Calendar working properly in a Chinese device?
I had a rooted 2.1, and just updated to a rooted 2.2 stock rom and now it seems I can create calendar events fine, but when I go to the event to try and edit it, it only says "Add reminder, Delete event, Share vCalendar, and Agenda" as the options.

With the the methods I already have I could check the ID of the calendar I want to work with, which is 5. I also could find out the ID of an event in that calendar which is 87. I'm trying to update that event with this code (well actually it is a bit different but I've shorten it a bit so it's not so much code to read for you)

Generally the same times and locations, so it would be cool if I could just copy an event to a new date and use all the stuff I already entered. Or make changes to any detail if I need to. Despite working fantastically, one thing has been bothering me which I can't seem to fix. I've got the standard calendar widget on one of the main screens, but every time it syncs or tries to update, it force closes itself (htc calendar store com process). I've noticed now that the events added to it on my phone, do not sync to google and vice versa.

I have disabled the calendar for a week, but they showed up again after I re-enabled it. I deleted my exchange account on the phone and re-added it - no changes. How to get rid of the duplicates? I don't have an issue deleting the exchange account from my phone and removing any data files - I just need to know what to remove to clean it up - before I re-add the account.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am sick and tired of deleting duplicate entries in contacts and calendar. There is no rhyme or reason. I get some contacts duplicated numerous times. I get duplicate appointments and my new ones refuse to link to the PC. I have tried everthing that two weeks of constant googling can come up with. I am sooooooo GD sorry that I purchased this POS phone and from my point of view the Android system is also a POS.
Next time I am going to finally bite the bullet and get an iPhone.
If anyone has something new please let me know what to do. I have deleted ALL contacts in Google. I have deleted ALL duplicate contacts at least a dozen times. The stupid system still adds, at random, duplicate contacts and tasks. The stupid phone has even linked contacts with no reason or input from me. The calendar has put holidays in numerous dates. Columbus day was in the calendar seven times when I did the last cleanup (I have done 3 seperate cleanups today alone). Independence day was put on both July 4th and 5th. When I deleted it from the 5th it disappeared altogether. I thought my old Palm Treo was bad.
