Apr 7, 2010just got a Motorola Backflip and I have the Facebook android app for it. My Facebook contacts have synced but I have no seen a place or way to sync my Facebook events/calendar with my device calendar. Is there a way to do this?

Jun 15, 2010I did a search but cant seem to find an answer. I finally got my work email set up through active sync. Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)

Nov 27, 2010I had my Android phone set up at the store to synchronize with Facebook.The trouble is, any even anyone in my Facebook list enters shows up on my phone calendar. My phone is cluttered with other people's events in which I have no interest, to the extent that my ability to see what is on my calendar is impaired. This is true both with the native app and CalendarPad which I downloaded specifically to get around this, and also for events I have declined.Anyone know of a way to keep Facebook events off my Android calendars?

Jul 28, 2010I just bought the htc evo 4g yesterday... and it's an amazing phone! this is my first droid and i already love it a thousand time better than my blackberry touch. i was messing with the sync options last night and selected to sync with my facebook account. i didn't realize that it was going to sync every single persons birthday and anniversary into my calendar how the heck to i un-do these facebook calendar events?

May 16, 2012I just noticed that facebook was putting stuff on my calendar without me doing it and I can't seem to get them off. They only show up on my phones calendar, not when I open it in google. And the same items aren't even listed in my events on facebook.

Sep 9, 2010I have my facebook synced with my calendar, now I came from Web OS and if you would confirm to an event, it would show up in your calender, if you would put maybe/not attending, it wouldn't for those pesky 2 month events that people love to make. Now my problem is that I have it synced, and double checked and I am declined for the events and even have the "hide declined events" checked but yet they are still being displayed.

The synch does not eliminate the past events on the exchange server on on my laptop google calender. My blackberry had a setting for this. I can not find a similar setting which allows me to retain the past events on the Droid.

Nov 9, 2012My Google Calendar App syncs google calendar appointments just fine. But "Corporate" accounts, which include my Hotmail and GroupWise calendars, won't sync calendar appointments older than two weeks. Even worse: appointments from older than two weeks ago actually drop off.
On settings, I have it set to sync all. I tried adding and removing accounts. I tried deleting calendar memory/cache. I have even tried returning my Nexus 7. The replacement has the same issue.

My old calendar had individual pop ups for each event, the pop up allowed you to open/snooze/ or dismiss each item individually. HTC Incredible :: Calendar App And Events
Sep 6, 2010On my HTC Incredible, since day 1 and after the updates (including Froyo) I am not able to see the names of events on my calendar in any of the calendar views except the "Today" view.All I see is the rectangle graphics depicting some event is taking place but inside the rectangle the event name is not displayed forcing me to open every event to what it is from the Calendar application.Therefore,I have to resort to using the Agenda widget to scroll through event names by date to get a quick overview. I haven't gotten my hands on someone else's Incredible to verify if this is just the way it is on this phone, but I would venture to guess not.I've used and seen plenty of Blackberry's and used to looking at weekly calendar views and all of the event names and their times/duration laid out graphically (with the event names in the rectangles).

What is the best way to ensure that I never lose this information? I would imagine that it will always be on my gmail account??? May 6, 2010I have multiple events (ie birthdays) as all day events. That means that these are set up in Outlook 2007 from 12am to 12pm on selected day. Recently, I went from Central to Eastern time zone. While there, I synced my phone with outlook using HTC Sync and now I have an additional occurrence of the event that goes from 11am to 11pm and spans into the previous day. I thought this would fix itself once the phone was back in the right time zone and was resynced, but it doesn't.

May 6, 2010Does anyone know how to get the texts for events to appear in the Calendar week view? It has a picture of it in the manual but nothing about how to do it. My Incred currently just shoes the color of the event (red for business etc) and I want to see what the events are! I have tried experimenting with the length of the title and that makes no difference. Any thoughts?
