HTC Droid Eris :: Bluetooth Pairs But Unable To Connect

I tried searching, but was unsucessful in finding an answer. My Eris, and now the replacement Eris sent by Verizon, will not connect to our Panasonic KX-TH1212 home phone system. It worked fine before the upgrade to 2.1 and my wife's Droid still works fine with it.The Eris will pair with the KX-TH1212, but will not connect; I've tried it multiple times with both Eris phones.The KX-TH1212 requires a passcode (0000) to pair. After failing to connect, the Eris only provides one option (unpair) in the long press menu.The Droid has three options (connect, unpair, and don't remember this one).I would appreciate any help or similar experiences to fix this issue.

I just got a 2011 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. One of the features it has is hands free calling with controls built in to the steering wheel. Another feature is bluetooth streaming audio.One of the first things I did when the car finally came in was to pair through the stereo so I could listen to pandora without having to use the AUX jack.To use the hands free phone system, there seems to be a separate pairing process activated through the steering wheel controls. It mostly walks you through the process, but once it gets to the actual process of pairing it continually says "searching..." until it times out.This is all slightly frustrating as the audio part seemed to work without a hitch. Even more frustrating, I've gotten responses from subaru forums saying that people with the EVO 4G didn't seem to have an issue getting either to work.
One thing I will note is that the icon next to the entry for the car in my bluetooth paired device listing appears to just be the earphones. When I plug in headphones with a microphone, I get an icon that reflects that. Here are the things I'm going to try next:start over and pair the phone first delete entry on my DINC for my jawbone headset (probably won't need that anymore anyways)

I have a hp pavilion dv 6000 i am trying to connect it to my computer via blue tooth but neither devices are registering the other my question is "is there any benefits to having them connected such as moving files and what not. even if i could get them paired would there be any actual reason to even try?"

I've got a cheap Speedlink bluetooth mouse from eBay and it works fine with a PC; it pairs up nicely with my Desire HD (running RCMix3d Runny v1.3 ROM) too.
Oddly however, the icon in the 'bluetooth settings' page is not of a mouse, it's an icon of a keyboard.
Pair it up and there's no mouse pointer; move the mouse to the right and the homescreen moves to the next screen - left and you go to the left screen.
Seems my mouse is recognised as a keyboard, oddly enough only emulating the arrow keys. When running Cyanogen 7, it was recognised as a mouse - so what's different here?
Is there anyway of jimmying Android to recognise my mouse as a mouse and not a keyboard?

I listen to Pandora in my car via Bluetooth every time I go somewhere. It's slightly annoying to have to launch the app every time. I'm wondering if there's an app out there that will automatically launch a program when my phone is paired with a specific device (like the Pioneer deck in my car).
I'd like my music to start up automatically when I start my car.

I know wi-fi has been mentioned but no one seems to really know. Is there anyone out there who knows why I cannot connect to my wi-fi at home? I have a mac address filter on my router and I put in the correct mac address of my Eris more than once as well and the security settings. I was able to connect my Nintendo DSi with no problem. So when I set up my wi-fi connection, it says it's not in range but remembered. At my job I was able to connect to the wi-fi with no problem. Could it be something with my router? Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or clues.

I don't seem to be able to get my Desire to connect to my head unit even though both units are paired.It seems to connect momentarily during the scan for the dvice then i get the "bluetooth headset disconnected" message on the phone?Head unit is a Kenwood BT50U (which supposts A2DP & AVRCP supposedly) and the device & headunit have both had the 0000 default code entered into them when pairing. All the phone shows is the device in the list with "paired but not connected" under it.Wifi is off,phone is discoverable. Is it the bluetooth on the phone at fault or the headunit?Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

The bluetooth I have is the Jawbone prime and its currently synced with my phone.I can talk to people perfectly fine with the bluetooth but when I open Pandora, it doesn't play the music through the bluetooth.Is the Eris compatible to do that or do i have a defective bluetooth or do i need to enable something,I simply cannot find the option to open bluetooth to access media.

Ever since flashing the 2.1 leaks (V1 and then V2), I have not been able to connect to my university's WPA2-enterprise wireless network. After I enter my login info (the network uses PEAP with MSCHAPv2, so it doesn't need any certificates), the phone connects as expected and gets a valid IP address, verifiable with netcfg. Before any traffic is allowed to pass to the outside world, however, the device connecting has to go to an authentication page in a browser. When I attempt to go to that page, I get an error titled "Data Connectivity Problem" that states "A secure connection could not be established" which only presents an option to acknowledge the error.
Since I can't load that authentication page, the network is entirely unusable. I did not encounter this problem with 1.5, but since I'm running the V2 leak, reverting is not an option.Has anyone else seen this type of behavior? I can't identify if the problem is in the actual link not being established properly (seems unlikely, as the phone is given an IP address, but perhaps the PEAP layer is having some sort of issue?) or if it has to do with the SSL certificates used for the network authentication page (they're signed, but I'm fairly certain that the name if the site they're signed for is not the name that they've given the new auth server).

I used to be able to connect my Droid Eris to my PC with a USB cable and the option in the notification bar to Mount would pop up. Now I'm getting a message on my PC saying the USB Device is not recognized. I've tried scouring the web for more info, but only came up with noobs who didn't know to click the mounting option in the notification bar. Why my phone cannot connect to my PC all of the sudden?

I have a rooted Droid Eris with celb froyo 3.3. Before this I had kaosfroyo v34. Before I rooted my phone I was able to connect to my PC, then, a few months later I couldn't. This was all before I rooted my phone. Then I rooted it on my parents computer and put kaos on it, and it started to work for a day then quit the next time I connected it to their computer. It even connected to my computer. I have no "connect PC" option in my settings. No USB notification in my notifications on my phone and PC says USB device not recognize. All my USBs are good bcuz my keyboard and mouse work fine.

I am developing an application which uses Bluetooth to connect to a device and send/receive data. I am doing all of my testing with a Nexus One phone. I have never been able to establish a SPP (serial port) connection from my phone to any device. However, I have been able to connect from a device (my laptop) to my phone using a Mac equivalent of PuTTY (The only exception to this is the "Bluetooth File Transfer" app from the Marketplace seems to work, but I don't think that uses RFCOM/SPP....

I was cleaning all the crap off my phone I don't use anymore and I believe I accidently removed the bluetooth software that allows it to connect to stereo bluetooth headsets. I can control the player with the headset, I can make phone calls from it, but when I try to play music there is no sound.
I was trying to reset the phone using RUU, but it reboots the phone and then says it cannot reconnect after that and the software shuts down. I can still sync with outlook, so my driver is not the issue. I am out of ideas.
Is there anyway possible to reinstall just the bluetooth portion of the rom?

I can't keep my wifi connected on my Droidx. Scanning connecting connected then a few seconds later the wifi icon disappears and it repeats the process seemingly forever. I've discovered that if I use the wps push button method to connect it was stay connected until the wifi goes to sleep when I tries to reconnect I get the scanning connecting connected loop. I've tried different settings in my router (wpa/wpa2 just wpa, just wpa2, tkip, aes) I refuse to go below wpa encryption. My current settings WPA2 AES. I'm running a Linksys WRT400N dual-band router latest firmware, 2.4ghz mode set to mixed b,g,n. Oddly enough, during the time it took my to write this it connected itself and it seems stable now (at least until I let it idle). Phone probably knew I was on here complaining about it but any help you can give me to obtain a wifi connection better without having to spend 15mins each time trying to get it to connect would be great.

I am trying to connect my Droid X2 to my Windows 7/BlueCove Bluetooth server. I previously had my Droid X2 connecting to an ASUS Transformer so I know its possible to connect my Droid X2 to another system.
However, when I try to connect to my Windows machine, my Droid X2 sees the machine, but when I try to connect to a service that my laptop is running I get
IOException: Connection refused
My BlueCove server has been tested using other computers and works fine.

I have the HTC Droid Eris. Before the 2.1 update, I just had Facebook sync, but afterwards, it was synced with Facebook for HTC Sense. My problem is that it won't let me sync with just Facebook.I still want my contacts to sync with my phone, because I like the facebook pictures on there. Personally, I like Facebook sync better, because I don't like having all my Facebook contacts on my phone, because the numbers show up twice (number that I have on my phone plus the number that my friends have on Facebook).To prevent that from happening, I would rather have my phone connected to Facebook only and not Facebook for HTC Sense.I thought I could do it, but it won't let me even click on Facebook--like, nothing pops up or anything.I wasn't sure if it was my phone, so I took my dad's Eris and tried to do the same, it works fine on his phone, but I can't get mine to do sync with facebook whatsoever. Iam connecting 3G phone for my Android device for internet connection and another Socket(SPP) for CAN signal receiving.Whenever I manually connect to the Bluetooth tethering via 3G phone, i can browse internet perfectly and speed is good.Whenever programmatically connect to the 3G connection, i couldn't browse internet.i checked in shell and observing that in my mobile 'device is connected' message displayed and E symbol appears.No problem for me to connect Socket.But I got problem to use 3G phone.For this iam using APN/DUN mode.I checked both but no use.Is there any performance issue here or anything wrong to connect different devices by using Bluetooth API in android.Why this happends while connecting Mobile programmatically.
