View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried searching, but was unsucessful in finding an answer. My Eris, and now the replacement Eris sent by Verizon, will not connect to our Panasonic KX-TH1212 home phone system. It worked fine before the upgrade to 2.1 and my wife's Droid still works fine with it.The Eris will pair with the KX-TH1212, but will not connect; I've tried it multiple times with both Eris phones. The KX-TH1212 requires a passcode (0000) to pair. After failing to connect, the Eris only provides one option (unpair) in the long press menu. The Droid has three options (connect, unpair, and don't remember this one).I would appreciate any help or similar experiences to fix this issue.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI don't seem to be able to get my Desire to connect to my head unit even though both units are paired. It seems to connect momentarily during the scan for the dvice then i get the "bluetooth headset disconnected" message on the phone?Head unit is a Kenwood BT50U (which supposts A2DP & AVRCP supposedly) and the device & headunit have both had the 0000 default code entered into them when pairing. All the phone shows is the device in the list with "paired but not connected" under it.Wifi is off, phone is discoverable. Is it the bluetooth on the phone at fault or the headunit?Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was cleaning all the crap off my phone I don't use anymore and I believe I accidently removed the bluetooth software that allows it to connect to stereo bluetooth headsets. I can control the player with the headset, I can make phone calls from it, but when I try to play music there is no sound.
I was trying to reset the phone using RUU, but it reboots the phone and then says it cannot reconnect after that and the software shuts down. I can still sync with outlook, so my driver is not the issue. I am out of ideas.
Is there anyway possible to reinstall just the bluetooth portion of the rom?
My bro offered me a htd Dream he bought in France with an SFR contract.I have successfully unlocked it, it has accepted my portuguese sims TMN and also OPTIMUSs but either way it does NOT connect to none of those networks.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI installed a custom HTC Hero ROM about a month ago - all was perfect. Decided to gift the phone to my phone and did a factory reset (idiotic move I know) which has now left me in brick status.I have adb set up although it doesn't recognize the phone when it's connected via USB and in Fastboot. Any advice on how to get it recognized?I've checked the SD Card and everything remains in tact (it's readable, has my Nandroid back-up, etc.). The issue is that I can't see to get the computer to recognize the device to go about my backup. Any thoughts / suggestions?

I Installed the latest version of HTCsync, and its running.
When i connect my phone with USB, windows i detecting it, but HTC sync doesnt seem to connect to it. When i try to start the update executable (RUU_Sapphire_Vodafone_NL_1.91.172.1_DRC92_signed_ NoDriver.exe) it ends (after some other screens, and following them to the letter) with the error 107 - USB-connection error.

When I connect my phone via USB to my laptop or my desktop using any of the USB ports, my phone blacks out, goes to an Android start graphic, briefly shows the home view then blacks out over and over. It does charge albiet slowly. I turn the phone off so it will charge fully. In addition I get an alert from Windows "USB Device Not Recognized". Works fine when not connected via USB.

Update- Well I got the PC to connect to the phone by updating the HTC sync driver but I still can't use the phone when it is plugged in to the USB. Screen goes dark and none of the buttons function and the charge light is lit.
I was looking to see if it would be possible to get a little more out of my HTC Magic.
1. Is it possible, or is there an app that would allow me to connect to MS Exchange for email? I only need the mails, rather than calendar and contacts.
2. Can I tether with this phone? I use an Apple MacBook Pro that has both Bluetooth and USB connections.
3. Is there an app that would allow me to send files via Bluetoth?
For some reason I cant see my own texts, when I send someone a text it would normally show what I have written after texting.Anyone knows how to get it back on?or what is going on.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been unable to call or SMS with my HTC Magic for over 24h now. I've restarted it three times, I've went in and out of flight mode a couple of times and I've selected my provider in the list both manually and through automatic.Still nothing. I've tried my SIM card in another phone and there I can call so the card in itself works fine. What really freaks me out is that I'm still able to connect to the internet through my provider. Incoming calls and SMS works fine too. It's reporting full connectivity at my current location and I've tried in several location (several kilomters apart). Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? I've had problems when leaving airplane mode that it wouldn't register on the network but then nothing worked.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I get in my car my phone pairs with my Parrot so I can make and receive calls without using my phone. My HTC Magic pairs with the device fine (it does take 5 mins or so to sync fully) and I am able to see my contact list and make calls from it without any problems. It puts the audio and the microphone through the Parrot system and its fine. The problem occurs when I receive a call unfortunately. The Parrot system realizes I have an incoming call and cuts out my radio / cd in the car and rings as it should do.
Unfortunately my phone also rings and when I accept the call (on either the phone or the parrot) it doesn't automatically put the call through the parrot. I have to use the phone and manually set the call to go through the bluetooth, which as you can appreciate is a bit fiddly whilst trying to drive. I've had a look round for an app that sorts this, and checked the bluetooth settings on the phone but I've not been able to find anything as of yet that will solve the problem.
