I cannot connect my Plantronics bluetooth earphone. I have Android 2 and I am doing all the stuff, but my phone does not recon it. What to do?

I can connect to the hands free but I have to manualy reconnect everytime I get into the car. But i can't connect on any other app. tried it on google goggles, shazam, timescape, Facebook app, Tweetdeck, etc. but i couldn't connect, EVER. So has anyone else faced this prob? or any idea why is it happening. or is it that these apps work only on 3G networks?

I'm new to the forum and to Android. Last week I replaced my Palm Centro with the new AT&T Xperria X10. About a week before the new cell phone arrived, I replaced our old Netgear wireless router with a new Cisco-Linksys E2000 router. All was well, except my daughter's PC (XP Home) and my other daughter's laptop (Vista), could not connect to the router. Got the new X10, and it connected without any problem.
Then - trying to get the other two computers to connect, I changed the 801.b security from WAP2 Personal to WEP Shared (One of them has an old Linksys wireless adapter that won't allow anything but WEP). Then my daughters were both able to connect, but not the Xperia. I have tried everything I can think of - no success. I changed the router security mode to disabled, and I could not connect. I changed the Xperia to Static IP - no connection. I entered the password in both ASCII text and HEX, neither succeeded.
How can I connect my mini pro to factory fit bluetooth in my VW Scirocco?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm getting this problem where I can connect to WiFi the first time with no problem but once I disconnect and the phone sleeps, it can't connect to the network again and says "Unable to Start WiFi", I can't even get to Wireless settings because it can't start the WiFi.
It's the same story with Bluetooth. It'll work once.
If I turn the phone off and then on again, it will work once more but only ONCE before doing the same thing again.
When using bluetooth, it connects fine, makes itself discoverable and pairs up with another phone, but when trying to send files like photos to it it can't find my phone? it says it's 'paired but not connected' with the other device.

I had a software update come through recently which told me I needed to go to the Sony Ericsson website to update it.. I tried to do this and it appears I can only update it using a PC as its not compatiable with a Mac computer (which I have). I have tried running the software update on the phone and as it can't connect to the internet it wint update anything.. so Im stuck in a circle now.
