May 19, 2013i have problem with start mobile, i cant start mobile for i changed build.prop, because i wanted gameloft games, but my mobil now never start. My phone is ZTE Grand X with root. I wipe cache and data, but still no luck. How can reflash rom, when cant start mobile. I can go only to android recovery mode(i dont know name for this).

Sep 22, 2010Recently, i got myself an HTC Wildfire. It's great, except one thing. Some of the games lags, but the lag gets less and less the more i play the game. It does'nt disappear totally but it gets smaller.
Its not the processors because i tested the games on an Xperia X10 Mini and they worked perfectly fine.

Jan 21, 2014I use the Yahoo mail android app (as well as gmail). When I create an email in the app and "click" in the "to" field and type a letter I get a whole raft of email address suggestions that are not in the contacts. I've looked in my phone contacts and they aren't there. I've looked at Yahoo mail settings and see nothing there. I've gone to the desktop Yahoo mail an tried looking in contacts there and they don't show up. Many of these are addresses of people that I recognize and have probably either sent or received an email from them but certainly never saved them as a contact. I tried long pressing on the suggested address and it highlights it but no options are given. It doesn't happen in my gmail. I've gone to URL...contacts and they don't show up there. I know I should just switch to gmail only but this is an old address that I want to keep active. I have a Moto X with Kitkat. This has followed me from phone to phone.

Aug 11, 2013so I got this phone, mediatek MT6589 1,2ghz with 1080x1920 resolution display, GPU powerVR SGX544 (those are what it says on the spec)
when playing 2D games, there are no lags, stutterings, i got smooth animations and responsive controls.
but when trying to play 3D based games, i only got like 5-10 fps, even for low end games like asphalt 6, riptide 1, minion rush, etc.
some 3D games have the option to lower textures, effects, shaders, but some don't.What I'm trying to ask is :
- Can we tweak, modify build.prop to trick those games (that do not have quality settings in options) to load low quality graphics? If we can, which line?
- I tried to install "resolution changer lite" from the playstore, looks like when I change resolution to 1024x600, every games run smooth without lag. But this resolution changing really messed up my homescreen, icons, menus, even hardware buttons don't work.
FYI: for reference this device's antutu score is 12000+, 2d score= 600, 3d score = 2100

It looks like the memory for the application was exhausted .The bluetooth settings page uses BluetoothDevicePreference to handle onBindView() api for showing the the icon and name of the searched bluetooth devices , now while scrolling the searched device page every time the getView of the preference is getting called and that is eventually calling the onBindView() api to show the icon and device name on the screen.
So can anyone suggest me how should I handle this kind of out of memory issue?

I of course am going to get the new phone and I am going to give her my current Brand new Galaxy S3, which is only like 2 weeks old (2 weeks and 1 day to be exact). and I am just gonna hook myself up on the new line and give her mine. My question is, can you hook up phones that are rooted/Rom'd. I believe you can, cause I hooked up my buddies phone temporarily a week or so ago, and it was a LG Revo with the Gingervolt ROM on it. and they gave me a new SIM card, hooked it up and i was ready to go. So I don't think their should be an issue.
and yes I know this has been discussed over and over, but Galaxy Note 3 or LG G2 ? They are both amazing. But I want the one that has the best Dev work on it. and I do like the size of the Note 3. But I heard the LG G2 has a bit of a better camera, but I am not a huge photo taker, mostly just at parties, and when I am playing shows with my band I will have my GF take pics with my S3, and they turn out perfect. so I don't think that's a deal breaker for me.

Feb 3, 2014I have a HTC Desire Bravo C I rooted it with clockwork mod and I went into the boot loader and clicked wipe data/factory reset I didn't know what it meant but now I cant turn on my phone! I can still load the boot loader menu and access restore..when I try to restore from a backup via the recovery menu it says the fallowing
-Restoring Data android_secure.img not found. Skipping restore of /sdcard/.android_secure.
-Restoring Cache sd-ext.img not found. Skipping restore of /sd-ext/.
-Restore Complete! I power it off then it puts me right back into bootloader.

Feb 13, 2012I have a galaxy s phone with darky's ROM v10.0 RC final. evidently it is rooted but some apps don't recognized it as a rooted phone. first, when i ran the superuser it fails and said com.noshufou.android.su is failed to work...and then theres a notificaTION that su binary is outdated but i tried to update it a million times but always failing, tried this su update fixer but still negative results. downloaded busybox installers the first one also failed to install busybox saying the directory where i want to put it has a problem, tried to put it to other option directory but still negative. the other busybox installer says that my phone is not rooted. how come this happens when titanium backup recognized my rooted phone.
