i have problem with start mobile, i cant start mobile for i changed build.prop, because i wanted gameloft games, but my mobil now never start. My phone is ZTE Grand X with root. I wipe cache and data, but still no luck. How can reflash rom, when cant start mobile. I can go only to android recovery mode(i dont know name for this).

View 4 Replies View RelatedRecently, i got myself an HTC Wildfire. It's great, except one thing. Some of the games lags, but the lag gets less and less the more i play the game. It does'nt disappear totally but it gets smaller.
Its not the processors because i tested the games on an Xperia X10 Mini and they worked perfectly fine.
What cam it be?
Anyone else's phone lag allot? And is there any way to make it better?

when playing 2D games, there are no lags, stutterings, i got smooth animations and responsive controls.
but when trying to play 3D based games, i only got like 5-10 fps, even for low end games like asphalt 6, riptide 1, minion rush, etc.
some 3D games have the option to lower textures, effects, shaders, but some don't.What I'm trying to ask is :
- Can we tweak, modify build.prop to trick those games (that do not have quality settings in options) to load low quality graphics? If we can, which line?
- I tried to install "resolution changer lite" from the playstore, looks like when I change resolution to 1024x600, every games run smooth without lag. But this resolution changing really messed up my homescreen, icons, menus, even hardware buttons don't work.
FYI: for reference this device's antutu score is 12000+, 2d score= 600, 3d score = 2100

View 6 Replies View RelatedThere are many battery drain processes, applications. I saw that one of the biggest issues related to my ZTE Grand X In battery drain problems are mostly related to WiFi.
Explanation (all in sleep mode):
- When WiFi is off (and Airplane mode on) battery drain is 0-1 % during 1 hour;
- When WiFi is on (and Airplane mode on) and I am at the home Access Point environment, battery drain is 1-2 % during 1 hour;
- When WiFi is on (and Airplane mode on) and I am outside any Access Point environment, battery drain is 2-3 % during 1 hour;
- When WiFi is on (and Airplane mode on) and I am at an Access Point environment where Android is getting connection but does not get IP address so it is repeating obtain IP address process, battery drain is 4-5 % during 1 hour;
On ZTE Grand X In there is Android ICS 4.0.4.
I am emphasizing that I have Huawei Ascend Y300. It has Android JB, and it is almost not affected at all by mentioned WiFi issues, all the time, in any environment (I mentioned in this post) it has low battery drain.
As I saw there are some programs which are checking those WiFi different situations and then try to resolve issues. For Huawei, I simply do not need any program, everything is okay. For ZTE seems that there is no perfect program, I have to say there are nice programs, but still not perfect for resolving this issue.
What would be the best to do (on rooted Android smartphone) to change frequency (inside build.prop or any other file) of checking, obtaining IP address, to optimize that, not to have huge battery drain because of WiFi environment?
I have a Galaxy grand Duos, it had Android 4.1.2 (stock) and I wanted to upgrade it to Android KitKat (4.4) so I rooted it and I upgraded first to 4.2.2 using RR (Resurrection ROM) and it worked flawlessly then I used CM 11.0, I flashed CM 11.0 (the ROM) and gapps, but now it just won't boot, it's stuck at the Galaxy Grand Duos logo and it just won't go to the main screen or anything, did I brick it or what?

I've been following all the steps given in the tutorials on XDA and youtube and many other sites to install CWM in Galaxy Grand, but to my misfortune, whenever I complete the process and try to open CWM using VOLUME UP+POWER+MENU button, the ANDROID SYSTEM RECOVERY <3e> menu opens and then I could do nothing.
I've tried installing CWM 9 times and also tried removing the batteries.
What should I do???

Today I've bought a lightly used gt-i9082l for about 100 bucks.
I did check b4 buying that it will go into recovery mode and it looks like a real thing there. In the past I've seen s4 clones that won't do that, or if they go into recovery mode, something looks fishy in there.
This one goes into recovery mode.
It has two sim card slots. I did verify online both IMEI numbers - I used imei.info - it correctly identified the phone as Grand dous something. If it is a fake, then it's a pretty damn good one!
So, I'm pressing vol-down, home, and power.... Samsung lettering appears (no logo), and then it boot straight up....
When do I release the buttons?
I am going to root today if this answer is yes.I if I root can I factory reset using the power and down volume and it will do like it says every thing back to out of the box?
View 3 Replies View Relatedmy galaxy grand was rooted and had the Resurrection Remix custom ROM, but now I want to reset my binary counter, unroot and flash the stock ROM. I started by downloading the .tar.md5 file (stock ROM), then I loaded it in Odin v3.09 as the AP (which is the PDA option but changed its name I think) and flashed, but it says fail at the beginning and now I only see "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again". I already installed Kies and tried this, but after a really long time when the progress bar reached 70%, it said Dll load fail and this was the second time I do it through Kies, but no avail and yes, I'm pretty sure that I have the ADB drivers installed. I flashed CWM touch recovery and it works good, so now I can enter Download mode and CWM mode (or whatever it's called) only. I want to flash back to the Stock ROM which I already have.

I tried many ROMs for 4.2.2 until I found the ROM that best suits my need which is the RR (Resurrection ROM) and it's now working normally, but the problem is that now, I need to install the 4.2.2 (leaked firmware), I found the files and followed all the tuts I found, but in videos and such they get the message "success" and I get the message "fail", I don't know what's the reason behind this, I tried changing USB ports, changing the cable, I tried nearly everything, but no avail. So basically, I now need 4.2.2 (leaked) or any KitKat (4.4) ROM, I want Carbon or SlimKat, but both require coming from a KitKat ROM (which is not my case) or 4.2.2 TW ROM, I don't think RR (Resurrection Remix) is a TW ROM, so what should I do? I need to know one of them, the KitKat or the 4.2.2 (leaked).
