View 1 RepliesHas anyone with an Evo 4G currently tried these game apps? I wanted to know how they run, and if the touch screen controls respond decently. Since the device has multi-touch I'm not to worried. These things running badly can be a deal breaker for me.
View 42 Replies View RelatedSo I'm interested in possible getting back into some old games using the GameBoid, SNESoid, and NESoid emulators available through the market! My concern is that previously when I would download PC roms & emulators the source sites were always loaded with smut, malicious software, and other goodies you surely want on your computers. Is this an issue with Android Roms? Where do you find Android Roms, can we get a list of sites that members here have had good luck finding quality roms without hassle? pls avoid Torrents, cause I don't use that so it wont help.
View 8 Replies View RelatedHow do i get roms to work on the snesoid emulator? I downloaded the emulator on my droid without any problem but everytime i try to download a rom it says "unsuccessful download". I've also tried to download them onto my mac and drag them onto my phone but it still won't work. Tips?

View 1 Replies View RelatedSnesoid seems to solely rely on save state files and not on actual battery saves used on the original cartridges (.sav) files. These are also smaller in file size and using these instead of savestates makes it feel more like playing an SNES (not being able to use savestates) but relying on the games own way of saving your progress. These .srm battery saves are easy to find so it's much easier to load up my Super Mario Kart with special courses unlocked
Gameboid for GBA games uses the actual battery pack saves, .sav files...
So why isn't snesoid able to do this or am I doing something wrong? I use the Motorola Droid.
The topic says what is the difference in nesoid lite and nesoid paid app? are the controls/buttons any better on the paid app? it seems kind of hard to get used to them on the lite version. It seems like all you can really play are RPG and not action (what they called action games back then.
View 10 Replies View RelatedMaybe I can find the answers I'm looking for here. I just got my droid today (LG ally) and I downloaded NESoid and SNESoid lite. At first they ran perfectly, then when I tried running them again, everything was choppy and laggy. How can I fix this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently downloaded these emulators and put some Roms from my Rom collection onto my phone, but when I try to open them on my droid it says no roms are in the folder. Where on my phone do I put these roms so that they can be found by the emulator?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhat do you think is the best way to map the buttons for these two emulators (NESOID AND SNESOID). I'm having trouble finding a solution. Your help as always is appreciated...and yes I searched, but could only find info on the actual droid which has an actual keyboard not just a virtual one.
View 12 Replies View RelatedSo just got the Sprint HTC Hero and tried the Snesoid lite. All the games run pretty slow. Most reviews i've seen for Snesoid that have been positive, the person had something like the Evo or incredible. Is there anything i can do to make Snesoid run well? Does getting the paid version of snesoid help? Getting another phone is not a solution.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm very new to the android phone's (Just got my HTC hero three days ago.) and I was wondering, are there any good resident evil games for the htc Hero? I've seen some awesome one's on iphone and I used to have some fun Resi games on my old E71.
While I'm on the subject of gaming I have also downloaded the snesoid light and find the music and gaming a little sluggish. Is this just how it is or is there anything I can do to sort that? Would the full paid version work any better?
I got the snesoid Emulator app for my G1 but dont know how to download the games to it...
View 4 Replies View RelatedGameboid and Nesoid are very good emulaters and they were developed by the same Creator. I'm trying to decide on which one to get but don't know which one is better. I noticed that both of them are rated 5 stars so its harder for me to decide. I'm wondering if anyone has download them and if they prefer a certain one. Also if anyone has good websites to download the games off of that would be great.
View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if there has been a multitouch mod yet for NESoid on the Nexus One? Its so tough to use when you have to continually take your fingers off of the screen. Also, is there a way to change the button layout? right now the A and B buttons are on the left and right side of the phone, making it really difficult to use both at the same time. Also, please dont post anything on here about games because i dont want them to close the thread on me. Just answer the technical questions or voice concerns or whatever, dont mention any games or roms or anything of that nature.

View 5 Replies View Relatedokay a have a general idea of how to use an emulator. i have a list of games at my disposal. so when i find the game i want, i save it to a destination on my computer, then i mount my sd card through my phone, throw the game onto the sd card (anywhere) via my computer. then no matter if i unmount or stay mounted, ill run the emulator on my mytouch, search for where i put the game. click on it, then it will take me to a blank screen as if it wants to load the game. and since i have the free versions of these emulators i also see the ads at the bottom, so i know it didnt crash. it just isnt loading
