View 4 Repliesokay a have a general idea of how to use an emulator. i have a list of games at my disposal. so when i find the game i want, i save it to a destination on my computer, then i mount my sd card through my phone, throw the game onto the sd card (anywhere) via my computer. then no matter if i unmount or stay mounted, ill run the emulator on my mytouch, search for where i put the game. click on it, then it will take me to a blank screen as if it wants to load the game. and since i have the free versions of these emulators i also see the ads at the bottom, so i know it didnt crash. it just isnt loading

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm very new to the android phone's (Just got my HTC hero three days ago.) and I was wondering, are there any good resident evil games for the htc Hero? I've seen some awesome one's on iphone and I used to have some fun Resi games on my old E71.
While I'm on the subject of gaming I have also downloaded the snesoid light and find the music and gaming a little sluggish. Is this just how it is or is there anything I can do to sort that? Would the full paid version work any better?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAlright so lets say i have a game on the wii that i downloaded to my SD micro Card and I downloaded the Nes Emulator on my HTC Hero. (yes ik you have to have and adapter for the wii and then the smaller memory card for the phone) But would I be able to play that game for NES (that i downloaded from the wii) on my HTC Hero?
View 2 Replies View RelatedBrowsing around the net at work today for Bluetooth Game Controllers, I came across a Mini Bluetooth Keyboard HERE - it's also selling on Ebay. It claims to be compatible with Android, but as we're all learning Android on one phone isn't the same as Android on another.
I'm wondering two things really: 1) Anyone know if it is actually compatible with Android and moreso if it's compatible with HTC Incredible
and 2) If it is compatible, once connected, can you use it in conjunction with Game Emulators (I have the popular one for GBA) so that I could use the buttons on there to play the games.
It's the perfect size for a game controller (too bad they don't also make one for that purpose) and would be much better than the touch screen controls which impede on the game.
Looking for the simple, atari games like missile command, tempest (I know there are space invaders and pong).
View 6 Replies View RelatedSeriously, emulation is not good for performance, but most roms running on gensoid look and play better that games developed for Android. Sonic 3 looks lovely, runs at 60fps and never stutters. It even seems to look higher rez than most Android apps.Android platformer games are nowhere near as good looking or smooth. So what the hell is going on? The hardware on top end Android phones (Desire, galaxy etc) is clearly capable.

View 5 Replies View RelatedHas anyone with an Evo 4G currently tried these game apps? I wanted to know how they run, and if the touch screen controls respond decently. Since the device has multi-touch I'm not to worried. These things running badly can be a deal breaker for me.

View 6 Replies View RelatedIve been trying the snesoid app on my galaxy and ive found that using the trackball option is the easiest way to play. But its really annoying that you keep running, on the galaxy we got a real d-pad so is there any way of making your character only run when you press left or right? and not KEEP running.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've still got a bunch of SNES carts like Contra 3, Mario RPG, Smash TV, and others. I know I can get the ROMs online, but my question is more which SNES games, in your opinion, are best on a touchscreen like the incredible? I tried Contra 3, but it really is unplayable...
View 20 Replies View RelatedSo I'm interested in possible getting back into some old games using the GameBoid, SNESoid, and NESoid emulators available through the market! My concern is that previously when I would download PC roms & emulators the source sites were always loaded with smut, malicious software, and other goodies you surely want on your computers. Is this an issue with Android Roms? Where do you find Android Roms, can we get a list of sites that members here have had good luck finding quality roms without hassle? pls avoid Torrents, cause I don't use that so it wont help.
View 8 Replies View RelatedIm new to the forum so if my issue has been mentioned before I apologies, but I cant find it. Ive downloaded Snesoid for my HTC Desire, the thing is, when I view demos on YouTube of Snesoid running it has the screen positioned to the right and the controller d-pad to the left. You will know what I mean if you go to this link. Code...
View 6 Replies View Relatedso I've downloaded SNesoid to try out some SNES games. where do download the games from? I've had a look through the marketplace but not really found anything.
View 11 Replies View RelatedSnesoid seems to solely rely on save state files and not on actual battery saves used on the original cartridges (.sav) files. These are also smaller in file size and using these instead of savestates makes it feel more like playing an SNES (not being able to use savestates) but relying on the games own way of saving your progress. These .srm battery saves are easy to find so it's much easier to load up my Super Mario Kart with special courses unlocked
Gameboid for GBA games uses the actual battery pack saves, .sav files...
So why isn't snesoid able to do this or am I doing something wrong? I use the Motorola Droid.
I am VERY new to the whole ANDROID scene but none the less stoked! I am not that tech savvy so I had a question about the PSX (sp) Emulator. If you download it how do you go about getting games on it. I would like to play the old FF and Resident Evil but I just don't know how to get the games on the Emulator. Where do I get the games from? Do you pay for them separately? Maybe a quick overview of the steps of how I would go from getting the emulator and adding games.
