Ive been trying the snesoid app on my galaxy and ive found that using the trackball option is the easiest way to play. But its really annoying that you keep running, on the galaxy we got a real d-pad so is there any way of making your character only run when you press left or right? and not KEEP running.

While I'm on the subject of gaming I have also downloaded the snesoid light and find the music and gaming a little sluggish. Is this just how it is or is there anything I can do to sort that? Would the full paid version work any better?
I got the snesoid Emulator app for my G1 but dont know how to download the games to it...

View 5 Replies View Relatedokay a have a general idea of how to use an emulator. i have a list of games at my disposal. so when i find the game i want, i save it to a destination on my computer, then i mount my sd card through my phone, throw the game onto the sd card (anywhere) via my computer. then no matter if i unmount or stay mounted, ill run the emulator on my mytouch, search for where i put the game. click on it, then it will take me to a blank screen as if it wants to load the game. and since i have the free versions of these emulators i also see the ads at the bottom, so i know it didnt crash. it just isnt loading

View 6 Replies View RelatedSnesoid seems to solely rely on save state files and not on actual battery saves used on the original cartridges (.sav) files. These are also smaller in file size and using these instead of savestates makes it feel more like playing an SNES (not being able to use savestates) but relying on the games own way of saving your progress. These .srm battery saves are easy to find so it's much easier to load up my Super Mario Kart with special courses unlocked
Gameboid for GBA games uses the actual battery pack saves, .sav files...
So why isn't snesoid able to do this or am I doing something wrong? I use the Motorola Droid.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just updated my SGS to Froyo via the registry hack but I noticed one small problem in the music app. Every last character on the album is missing (e.g. Pearl Jam's "Binaural" displays as "Binaura") I'm not using mp3s but flacs which may be the cause of the problem. I notice in Eclair that the music app does not recognize flac ID3 tags but in Froyo, it recognizes the album art and album name but not the artist. Great, but the missing last letter in every album's name is super annoying.

But unfortunately this tablets's OS is not a normal android 3.2; It has been customized and we can't access many applications or other thinks. My device is Samsung Galaxy Y. Already i am trying to make my flashable icon pack. I use guide mrallyluz (http:url...). I have icons, custom icon pack, updater script, but i don't know how can i add more icons. I mean, for example, in folder unpack i have folders browser.apk, settings.apk, calendar.apk with custom icons inside these folders, and i want to add more icons to change. So, should i take names apps from system/app and make folder with this name inside res/drawable-ldpi?

Though Galaxy S has got the gorgeous Super AMOLED display and good GPU which is capable of 50FPS, I dont see a whole lot of games developed by Premium Game makers (like EA, Game loft). Also, any game playable with Android 2.1 is compatible with Galaxy S or do we need games specifically developed for Galaxy S?
