I recently downloaded these emulators and put some Roms from my Rom collection onto my phone, but when I try to open them on my droid it says no roms are in the folder. Where on my phone do I put these roms so that they can be found by the emulator?

Maybe I can find the answers I'm looking for here. I just got my droid today (LG ally) and I downloaded NESoid and SNESoid lite. At first they ran perfectly, then when I tried running them again, everything was choppy and laggy. How can I fix this?

Most reviews i've seen for Snesoid that have been positive, the person had something like the Evo or incredible. Is there anything i can do to make Snesoid run well? Does getting the paid version of snesoid help? Getting another phone is not a solution.

My concern is that previously when I would download PC roms & emulators the source sites were always loaded with smut, malicious software, and other goodies you surely want on your computers. Is this an issue with Android Roms? Where do you find Android Roms, can we get a list of sites that members here have had good luck finding quality roms without hassle? pls avoid Torrents, cause I don't use that so it wont help.

It seems like all you can really play are RPG and not action (what they called action games back then.

I have all my roms in a 'Rom' file on my fone, this one says to specify bios file, which i did, even made a mock gba_bios.bin file in my rom file. Still no luck. Can anyone help me here before i kill this thing? This is the only emulator i cant get to work.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Gameboid recently, and I definitely have a GBA_bios.bin in my SD card, but whenever I select it after clicking browse for bios it just says it has failed. Any Idea why?
And while I'm here I can play GBCoid fine (I am using lite) but for some reason I can't understand, the select button doesn't work. I have to use the virtual keypad as the Pulse doesn't have a hard keyboard.
Gameboid and Nesoid are very good emulaters and they were developed by the same Creator. I'm trying to decide on which one to get but don't know which one is better. I noticed that both of them are rated 5 stars so its harder for me to decide. I'm wondering if anyone has download them and if they prefer a certain one. Also if anyone has good websites to download the games off of that would be great.
View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if there has been a multitouch mod yet for NESoid on the Nexus One? Its so tough to use when you have to continually take your fingers off of the screen. Also, is there a way to change the button layout? right now the A and B buttons are on the left and right side of the phone, making it really difficult to use both at the same time. Also, please dont post anything on here about games because i dont want them to close the thread on me. Just answer the technical questions or voice concerns or whatever, dont mention any games or roms or anything of that nature.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have two emulators, SNESoid and NESoid. When I load either, if I don't disable all sounds, the sound is very choppy/distorted and the game is boggy. I've played around a bit with the frame rate settings, but to no avail it seems. Does anyone know of any potential settings in the program or in the phone settings that could be causing this, and what I might try to fix them? Thanks

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems with the SNESoid emulator. I downloaded some ROM's and unzipped them, I made a folder called 'roms' on my SD card. When I go to open SNESoid it says 'no roms loaded' and then I manually go to menu and open, and go to the folder and it see's the .smc files or whatever and I try to open them and it just takes me to the previous page, which is like the menu page with all my applications. I've tried to Google this problem and I've seen a couple other similar problems but never any solutions. Anyone know?

I will play the game for a while and then when I close out of the rom and go do something else on my phone, I'll come back and the game data has been deleted! Is there a patch I need for this?

I'm not sure if this issue was caused by the Android 2.1 update, but since my update just happened on Saturday I kind of suspect it. Anyone else have any ideas as to what caused this or if it can be fixed?

Now if I can find a R USB to M micro USB, can I plug that in on my D2 and use that? I realize this would effectively make my controller 3x the size of my gaming platform. But would it work?

View 8 Replies View RelatedSnesoid seems to solely rely on save state files and not on actual battery saves used on the original cartridges (.sav) files. These are also smaller in file size and using these instead of savestates makes it feel more like playing an SNES (not being able to use savestates) but relying on the games own way of saving your progress. These .srm battery saves are easy to find so it's much easier to load up my Super Mario Kart with special courses unlocked
Gameboid for GBA games uses the actual battery pack saves, .sav files...
So why isn't snesoid able to do this or am I doing something wrong? I use the Motorola Droid.
so i plugged my hdmi out into my evo and fired up ff2 on snesoid, ive tried this previously and got nothing, but today i got perfect sound out the tv, but the screen was still black. any word on when this will work or how? also any bluetooth snes controllers that work with evo?
