I have tried game genie codes and maybe i am still doing something wrong so i figured i would ask if anyone knows what kind of codes work for the snesoid/how hey are enterd to work for the game.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just found out about the Gameboid emulator and out of curiosity, I downloaded Pokemon Emerald. It runs great on my Droid X. Sound works perfectly, game runs at 100% of its normal speed.
I want to use cheats, though. It is my understanding that no one can figure out how to use the cheats feature correctly. Does it simply not work? I grabbed codes off of Gameshark's official website and they still don't have any affect on the game.
So what I decided to do was download VisualBoyAdvance for my PC, load the rom, use the cheats, make a save file and transfer it over to my droid. But I can't find any ROMs on the web to download for VBA that aren't corrupt. Somehow the ROM I have on my droid is fine; I downloaded it via DroidEmuRomGet. But if I try to grab the ROM off of my droid and transfer it over to my PC, I find that when I browse my droid using my PC, it doesn't show any of the files I can see using AndroZip... Even though the file extensions are the same.
I'm very new to the android phone's (Just got my HTC hero three days ago.) and I was wondering, are there any good resident evil games for the htc Hero? I've seen some awesome one's on iphone and I used to have some fun Resi games on my old E71.
While I'm on the subject of gaming I have also downloaded the snesoid light and find the music and gaming a little sluggish. Is this just how it is or is there anything I can do to sort that? Would the full paid version work any better?
I got the snesoid Emulator app for my G1 but dont know how to download the games to it...
View 4 Replies View Relatedso i plugged my hdmi out into my evo and fired up ff2 on snesoid, ive tried this previously and got nothing, but today i got perfect sound out the tv, but the screen was still black. any word on when this will work or how? also any bluetooth snes controllers that work with evo?
View 5 Replies View Relatedokay a have a general idea of how to use an emulator. i have a list of games at my disposal. so when i find the game i want, i save it to a destination on my computer, then i mount my sd card through my phone, throw the game onto the sd card (anywhere) via my computer. then no matter if i unmount or stay mounted, ill run the emulator on my mytouch, search for where i put the game. click on it, then it will take me to a blank screen as if it wants to load the game. and since i have the free versions of these emulators i also see the ads at the bottom, so i know it didnt crash. it just isnt loading

I downloaded the emulator on my droid without any problem but everytime i try to download a rom it says "unsuccessful download". But its really annoying that you keep running, on the galaxy we got a real d-pad so is there any way of making your character only run when you press left or right? and not KEEP running.

My concern is that previously when I would download PC roms & emulators the source sites were always loaded with smut, malicious software, and other goodies you surely want on your computers. Is this an issue with Android Roms? Where do you find Android Roms, can we get a list of sites that members here have had good luck finding quality roms without hassle? pls avoid Torrents, cause I don't use that so it wont help.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSnesoid seems to solely rely on save state files and not on actual battery saves used on the original cartridges (.sav) files. These are also smaller in file size and using these instead of savestates makes it feel more like playing an SNES (not being able to use savestates) but relying on the games own way of saving your progress. These .srm battery saves are easy to find so it's much easier to load up my Super Mario Kart with special courses unlocked
Gameboid for GBA games uses the actual battery pack saves, .sav files...
So why isn't snesoid able to do this or am I doing something wrong? I use the Motorola Droid.

But now i want that when i click on the list item i should have a kind of popup which has three options and depending on the option i click a new activity should be launched. When you use Gmail and try to attach a file you will only see the applications/activities that picks data from your SDCard like Gallery, and in my case Astro (file manager application).

View 5 Replies View Relatedits not that bad but in all honesty, I found it to be pretty bland and boring (almost ugly). It also lacks many nice features found on other phones with manufactuer overlays, (This is probably the biggest reason why they put those overlays on top of stock android). Obviously the best thing about it of course is the quicker updates (in most cases). But other than that, my experience with stock was not too fun compared to using now Launcher Pro overtop of just plain stock and even now over TW (I know, i know, people hate TW).
