Games :: Resident Evil Type Games For Htc Hero / Anything To Sort Snesoid?
Jul 25, 2010I'm very new to the android phone's (Just got my HTC hero three days ago.) and I was wondering, are there any good resident evil games for the htc Hero? I've seen some awesome one's on iphone and I used to have some fun Resi games on my old E71.
While I'm on the subject of gaming I have also downloaded the snesoid light and find the music and gaming a little sluggish. Is this just how it is or is there anything I can do to sort that? Would the full paid version work any better?

Oct 15, 2010I've downloaded the FULL version of Angry Birds loads of times today via Getjar and recently on the Android Market but keep getting the same messag 'Application not Installed' with the Getjar version and 'Installation of Angry Birds unsuccesful' with the Market version. I've just unmounted the SD card and copied all the files to a new 8GB card and then put that in but still won't install. My handset is unbranded/unlocked. My wifes is exactly the same but that installed 1st time no problem.

Aug 24, 2010so i plugged my hdmi out into my evo and fired up ff2 on snesoid, ive tried this previously and got nothing, but today i got perfect sound out the tv, but the screen was still black. any word on when this will work or how? also any bluetooth snes controllers that work with evo?

Feb 15, 2010okay a have a general idea of how to use an emulator. i have a list of games at my disposal. so when i find the game i want, i save it to a destination on my computer, then i mount my sd card through my phone, throw the game onto the sd card (anywhere) via my computer. then no matter if i unmount or stay mounted, ill run the emulator on my mytouch, search for where i put the game. click on it, then it will take me to a blank screen as if it wants to load the game. and since i have the free versions of these emulators i also see the ads at the bottom, so i know it didnt crash. it just isnt loading

May 27, 2010Has anyone with an Evo 4G currently tried these game apps? I wanted to know how they run, and if the touch screen controls respond decently. Since the device has multi-touch I'm not to worried. These things running badly can be a deal breaker for me.

But its really annoying that you keep running, on the galaxy we got a real d-pad so is there any way of making your character only run when you press left or right? and not KEEP running.

My concern is that previously when I would download PC roms & emulators the source sites were always loaded with smut, malicious software, and other goodies you surely want on your computers. Is this an issue with Android Roms? Where do you find Android Roms, can we get a list of sites that members here have had good luck finding quality roms without hassle? pls avoid Torrents, cause I don't use that so it wont help.

Nov 29, 2009Snesoid seems to solely rely on save state files and not on actual battery saves used on the original cartridges (.sav) files. These are also smaller in file size and using these instead of savestates makes it feel more like playing an SNES (not being able to use savestates) but relying on the games own way of saving your progress. These .srm battery saves are easy to find so it's much easier to load up my Super Mario Kart with special courses unlocked
Gameboid for GBA games uses the actual battery pack saves, .sav files...
So why isn't snesoid able to do this or am I doing something wrong? I use the Motorola Droid.
HTC Desire :: SNesoid / GameBoid Do Not Work On Phone / Way To Fix?
May 26, 2010Installed the Snesoid and GameBoid on it but they are not working. I open up either application with a message 'No ROM loaded. Press Menu for more options.' I put my games in a folder called Roms. When I select the folder to load a game, it recognises that the games are on there but as soon as I choose a game it loads for a couple of seconds then the whole application closes returning me to my home screen on my phone. What's up with that? I want to play Mario Kart dammit! P.S Is there any way to stop the phone's time syncing with my PC time. It's doing my head in!

Aug 21, 2010I usually charge my phone overnight, so plug it in and let it charge until i get up on a morning.However I'm noticing when I unplug it, the battery drops almost instantly to between 96 and 91%. I'm thinking this is a case of overcharging? Its just happened to me now, so I've turned the phone off, let it charge and as soon as the orange light turns green I'll unplug it and turn it on and see what happens.Anyone else any experience of this? I want to charge overnight, but if its going to give me a worse battery life by doing so.

Aug 2, 2010Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing a problem with the full screen weather widget where when you scroll to it it says "Loading Data" then goes completely blank and then cant do anything with it. Removing the widget and re-adding makes it work again a reboot also brings it back to life for a couple of seconds but then goes blank. Clicking on the weather picture on the clock still brings up the details weather screen.

Oct 3, 2010This is a problem that has been annoying me for some time, but has recently become ridiculous. As we all know the internal memory is pretty small on the Desire, and i've tried to be conservative with the apps I install (unless I know they can be moved to SD). However, despite this i'm constantly low in internal memory. at the moment, the only apps i have installed on the internal memory are beautiful widgets (1.36mb), colornote (524kb), facebook (3.05mb), mixzing (3.70mb), multicon (316kb), swiftkey (1.84mb), (tasker (1.43mb), voice search (2.54mb) .everything else I have moved to the SD card via app2sd or through the recently posted trick to get all apps to automatically install to SD. As you can see, the apps I have installed (obviously this excludes all the various htc stuff that comes preinstalled etc) falls far short of the supposed 148mb that i have available to install apps, so can anyone shed any light on what might be going on? I've tried clearing various caches to try and free up some spece but this has barely had any impact and this is truly starting to bug me. I've got a desire on 2.2
