What do you think is the best way to map the buttons for these two emulators (NESOID AND SNESOID). I'm having trouble finding a solution. Your help as always is appreciated...and yes I searched, but could only find info on the actual droid which has an actual keyboard not just a virtual one.

The title says it all, I'll open my SNESoid (or NESoid) and the buttons will be on the screen sometimes and they won't be on the screen sometimes. It doesn't appear to be a "settings" issue. Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?

Most reviews i've seen for Snesoid that have been positive, the person had something like the Evo or incredible. Is there anything i can do to make Snesoid run well? Does getting the paid version of snesoid help? Getting another phone is not a solution.

My concern is that previously when I would download PC roms & emulators the source sites were always loaded with smut, malicious software, and other goodies you surely want on your computers. Is this an issue with Android Roms? Where do you find Android Roms, can we get a list of sites that members here have had good luck finding quality roms without hassle? pls avoid Torrents, cause I don't use that so it wont help.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe camera button just sits there useless until the camera is used. How about letting us map that to a function? Personally, I would like to be able to use it as a Pause/Play toggle. When I am out and about listening to music, I very often need to pause. Currently, this requires pulling out the phone, pressing the power button, swiping it open, and (if the music screen is up) pressing pause. That is WAY too long, and a simple hardware button would be perfect.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Eris that I have been using the premium version of SNESoid on for some time with out any cpmlaints or issues. Recently the save function has stopped working. I'm not sure if this issue was caused by the Android 2.1 update, but since my update just happened on Saturday I kind of suspect it. There are plenty of apps that will track my run via gps if I bring my phone on the run with me, but I don't wanna do that. I want to be able to map a course out, enter how long it took me, save the map and even share it with friends. Ideally the app would have the gps running features I mentioned above just on case I ever do start bringing my phone with me. View 4 Replies View RelatedI've seen that others have SNESoid on their DX's but when I installed SNESoid light on my DX and went to freeroms.com I get a black screen.Here's is what I did.
1.Installed SNESoid lite and ASTRO
2. Went to freeroms.com
3. Direct DLed ROM .zips of FF3, Super mario bros. to my phones SD.
4. Opened with ASTRO went to download folder and extracted in same folder.
5. Opened SNESoid lite and it went to download folder. It only showed the zip folders and not the actual roms.
6. so I clicked on the .zip folder but I either get a black screen or really screwy lines.
Do you guy think that the 2.1 update will help smooth out the framerate on the SNESoid or does it require overclocking? Also I tried out a Link to the past just a couple minutes ago and noticed that the layers are all wrong. Like when it was raining, I couldn't see the actual landscape and was just guessing where I was going. Any idea on how to correct the layering issue?

I knew the button was broken when I bought it and I didn't really care for a while, but tonight when I was trying to fiddle with it, I accidentally popped it out. Is it worth opening the phone to try to solder it back on?Also, how do I navigate through the recovery menu without a volume down button?

I have a shortcut on my main screen to this and all of a sudden since yesterday I have to hit the network button like 10 times for it to turn on or off. View 5 Replies View RelatedSo my End Call button no longer locks the phone today. I always hit it because I am trying to squeeze all I can from the battery. I did install the Not Call Log app because I wanted the button to return to Home instead of the default, but I did uninstall it. If I long press the button, it still brings up the menu to Power Off, Airplane mode, etc. It just does not quick lock the phone, which I really like.
More info: The end call button does re-lock the phone (turn off the screen) when it is already locked, but still does nothing when I am sitting on the Home screen (when I really want to lock the thing).
Can't seem to get my send/end button to "go home then to sleep". It will only "go to sleep". Is there a way to get the send/end button to "go home then to sleep" with 2.1?

I don't get the little favorite option. My favorites home screen works, but on the call>menu I have People and Call History, but no Favorites button? When the Verizon upgrade came up, the first time I did not use the option to clear data. Big mistake. Make sure you clear data when upgrading to 2.1.
Is there a button/setting to get you back to your homepage? Other than creating a bookmark for it.

My wife has the eris and doesn't like that the phone button drops her into a dialer and call log. She wants to change it to pull up her contacts, but I can't seem to find a way to change what that button does.
