so i plugged my hdmi out into my evo and fired up ff2 on snesoid, ive tried this previously and got nothing, but today i got perfect sound out the tv, but the screen was still black. any word on when this will work or how? also any bluetooth snes controllers that work with evo?

I'm very new to the android phone's (Just got my HTC hero three days ago.) and I was wondering, are there any good resident evil games for the htc Hero? I've seen some awesome one's on iphone and I used to have some fun Resi games on my old E71.
While I'm on the subject of gaming I have also downloaded the snesoid light and find the music and gaming a little sluggish. Is this just how it is or is there anything I can do to sort that? Would the full paid version work any better?
I got the snesoid Emulator app for my G1 but dont know how to download the games to it...
View 4 Replies View Relatedokay a have a general idea of how to use an emulator. i have a list of games at my disposal. so when i find the game i want, i save it to a destination on my computer, then i mount my sd card through my phone, throw the game onto the sd card (anywhere) via my computer. then no matter if i unmount or stay mounted, ill run the emulator on my mytouch, search for where i put the game. click on it, then it will take me to a blank screen as if it wants to load the game. and since i have the free versions of these emulators i also see the ads at the bottom, so i know it didnt crash. it just isnt loading

View 6 Replies View RelatedSnesoid seems to solely rely on save state files and not on actual battery saves used on the original cartridges (.sav) files. These are also smaller in file size and using these instead of savestates makes it feel more like playing an SNES (not being able to use savestates) but relying on the games own way of saving your progress. These .srm battery saves are easy to find so it's much easier to load up my Super Mario Kart with special courses unlocked
Gameboid for GBA games uses the actual battery pack saves, .sav files...
So why isn't snesoid able to do this or am I doing something wrong? I use the Motorola Droid.

I've noticed that none of the new phones coming out have HDMI out on them anymore. I've got a Razr Maxx that I'm looking at replacing and was looking at the new Droid Maxx but I'm concerned about the lack of HDMI out. I'm a boater and have a TV on my boat. I connect my Razr Maxx to my TV with a Micro HDMI to HDMI cable and watch Netflix when I'm on the. I'd hate to give that up but also realize that my Maxx won't last forever.
Any new phones that do have HDMI out?

Is there a cable that is micro HDMI on one end and the three on the other end? I realize it won't be HDMI quality, but i could at least put movies up on the TV from my phone.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've seen that others have SNESoid on their DX's but when I installed SNESoid light on my DX and went to freeroms.com I get a black screen.Here's is what I did.
1.Installed SNESoid lite and ASTRO
2. Went to freeroms.com
3. Direct DLed ROM .zips of FF3, Super mario bros. to my phones SD.
4. Opened with ASTRO went to download folder and extracted in same folder.
5. Opened SNESoid lite and it went to download folder. It only showed the zip folders and not the actual roms.
6. so I clicked on the .zip folder but I either get a black screen or really screwy lines.
Maybe I can find the answers I'm looking for here. I just got my droid today (LG ally) and I downloaded NESoid and SNESoid lite. At first they ran perfectly, then when I tried running them again, everything was choppy and laggy. How can I fix this?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems with the SNESoid emulator. I downloaded some ROM's and unzipped them, I made a folder called 'roms' on my SD card. When I go to open SNESoid it says 'no roms loaded' and then I manually go to menu and open, and go to the folder and it see's the .smc files or whatever and I try to open them and it just takes me to the previous page, which is like the menu page with all my applications. I've tried to Google this problem and I've seen a couple other similar problems but never any solutions. Anyone know?
