I've still got a bunch of SNES carts like Contra 3, Mario RPG, Smash TV, and others. I know I can get the ROMs online, but my question is more which SNES games, in your opinion, are best on a touchscreen like the incredible? I tried Contra 3, but it really is unplayable...

(yes ik you have to have and adapter for the wii and then the smaller memory card for the phone) But would I be able to play that game for NES (that i downloaded from the wii) on my HTC Hero?

While I'm on the subject of gaming I have also downloaded the snesoid light and find the music and gaming a little sluggish. Is this just how it is or is there anything I can do to sort that? Would the full paid version work any better?
I got the snesoid Emulator app for my G1 but dont know how to download the games to it...

View 4 Replies View Relatedi recently bought an evo 4g ( great phone ! ) and i have been looking at the forums on how to properly get it to work. I downloaded the snesnoid lite and androzip. Then i downloaded the rom ( that i have ;p) off a couple of sites. Everytime i do download the rom, it ends up as a " .bin" file. Is this uncommon? im not sure as wheither it's the site or just a setting in my phone thats making it a bin file.

Can anyone point me to it, or tell me if they have been able to get Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure to work? It may be the ROM I'm trying, but I can't seem to get the game to work.
Also, I have not tried the PSX emulator, but am thinking about buying it. Can anyone with it try Pitfall 3D for me and see how that runs?
so i plugged my hdmi out into my evo and fired up ff2 on snesoid, ive tried this previously and got nothing, but today i got perfect sound out the tv, but the screen was still black. any word on when this will work or how? also any bluetooth snes controllers that work with evo?
View 5 Replies View Relatedokay a have a general idea of how to use an emulator. i have a list of games at my disposal. so when i find the game i want, i save it to a destination on my computer, then i mount my sd card through my phone, throw the game onto the sd card (anywhere) via my computer. then no matter if i unmount or stay mounted, ill run the emulator on my mytouch, search for where i put the game. click on it, then it will take me to a blank screen as if it wants to load the game. and since i have the free versions of these emulators i also see the ads at the bottom, so i know it didnt crash. it just isnt loading

View 6 Replies View RelatedI bought the SNES emulator from market on my moto Droid. I then went to romhustler and downloaded 3 games. I made a folder for them and put them on my phone. I then pull up the snes emu the hit load rom, then clicked on the folder with my 3 downloaded games in it and it says folder empty. what am I doing wrong? I went to astrofile thingy and hit the zipped files to extract but when it hit extract nothing happens. Can anyone help me out?

I downloaded the emulator on my droid without any problem but everytime i try to download a rom it says "unsuccessful download". But its really annoying that you keep running, on the galaxy we got a real d-pad so is there any way of making your character only run when you press left or right? and not KEEP running.

My concern is that previously when I would download PC roms & emulators the source sites were always loaded with smut, malicious software, and other goodies you surely want on your computers. I read a lot about this and I can't find any simple instructions.
Snesoid seems to solely rely on save state files and not on actual battery saves used on the original cartridges (.sav) files. These are also smaller in file size and using these instead of savestates makes it feel more like playing an SNES (not being able to use savestates) but relying on the games own way of saving your progress. These .srm battery saves are easy to find so it's much easier to load up my Super Mario Kart with special courses unlocked
Gameboid for GBA games uses the actual battery pack saves, .sav files...
So why isn't snesoid able to do this or am I doing something wrong? I use the Motorola Droid.
