I would like some help on putting my site into an app. I will soon have a mobile view of my forum basically the site detects the browser and serves up the mobile theme. Similar to how Welcome to Facebook | Facebook. What is the simplest way of putting this an app form?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI noticed the youtube news yesterday about its new mobile site, but when i log onto the stock EVO internet browser and Dolphin HD, it looks nothing like the site in the video and still asks me if I want to use HTC Flash Player or Youtube app to play the video.Also it seems to only choose HTC Flash Player now, how do I reset the defaults for this?

View 11 Replies View RelatedHow to stop youtube displaying the page designed for Mobile phones? I just want to view the site in my internet browser the same way as I can on my computer but when I am on youtube and I choose the Desktop view at the bottom of the page it just reverts back to Mobile view instead. I've disabled all the settings in my browser that convert sites to mobile views etc etc. It only does it on youtube and I cant stand the youtube app on my phone. I don't want any other apps or anything like that I just want to view it like I do on my comp.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm just being stupid and overlooking a simple setting, but I'm pretty sure on my old HTC Hero there was an option in the settings to always load web pages in either mobile form, or the full web page (classic). Is this something that I can do in the settings on the Nexus one, because I do find it a little annoying having to regularly reload pages in "classic" view?

View 14 Replies View RelatedQuestion! I'm a big fan of the dolphin HD browser, but I can't seem to find a way to turn off 'mobile view.' There are lots of websites I like that won't let me see video if it detects I'm on a mobile device.
The stock browser has an option under settings to turn off mobile view, and it usually works.
Does dolphin browser have something similar? I can't seem to find it...

To also help with Battery Life you can do these steps exactly: 1) Turn your device ON and Charge the device for 8 hours or more 2) Unplug the device and Turn the phone OFF and charge for 1 hour 3) Unplug the device Turn ON wait 2 minutes and Turn OFF and charge for another hour Your battery life should almost double, we have tested this on our devices and other agents have seen a major difference as well Going to try it tonight, people say it works though. View 2 Replies View RelatedBasically, i have always viewed my outlook (hotmail) emails through boat, and they have always showed in mobile view which is great, the last couple of days i noticed that my boat will only allow me to view outlook in desktop view now which is horrible to use on a phone, nothin i can do will get ot to switch back to mobile view again, i view outlook a lot and cannot currently view it how i want using boat
I have started to encounter an issue that is annoying me, i am using the latest versoin of boat browser 7.3, i am not sure if this issue is since updating to the latest version or if it's something to do with recently upgrading to android 4.4.2? my phone is a samsung galaxy s4.
All other sites are showing in mobile view, only outlook doesn't seem to want to.
I just made a private comment to twospirits, suggesting that he sticky the "What Apps Do You Have" thread. His response was that he didn't want to sticky too many threads, as to overwhelm the main page with a dozen stickied threads. Instead, he's relying on the "Forum Guidelines" stickied item. I think that's great but in my past experience, new users don't usually check that. In my experience, new users will simply come on in, maybe glance over the thread titles of the first page to see if any pertain to what they're interested in, then simply start a new thread to get their questions addressed. And that new thread is often redundant. twospirits suggested that I start a discussion to see what others in the community thought. If you have a specific thread that you think should be stickied

When I navigate to this site on my phone it shows up fine.. but once I tried to log in i got some kind of weird error and now I can't access the site at all.. I'm at work right now so I'll update what error it was a bit later. Just wondering if this happens to anybody else? I frequented these forums before I got my N1 and this forum actually gave me the final push to finally step up and order one. But, now when I'm on the go I can't get here

View 14 Replies View RelatedBeing a geek, I've been very interested in getting a Droid, and in anticipation, have been following this forum since day one.I've been to the Verizon store a few times to play with the Droid, and was comparing it to the Eris today when an employee came over and started chatting with me.He had a Droid, so I asked him how he liked it, etc, etc. I mentioned how I knew quite a bit about the device just from reading up on it online. I asked him about the keyboard, and what his take was.He mentioned the lack of raised keys, etc., and then said his main complaint was that there was no way to 'lock' the Alt key so he could type numbers - and he proceeded to show me how you had to hold the Alt key down, and type with the other hand.Then I mentioned to him that I thought all you needed to do was double-tap the alt key to lock it. He did that and was amazed that it was that simple, and thanked me for the tip.Perhaps this forum should be mandatory reading for all Verizon employees?

So far every view I set up worked fine, but now I am trying to create a ListView (including single_choice_mode) within a child view of the ViewFlipper, but my attempt only let to a NullPointerException. As I only discovered ViewFlipper today, I am not yet familiar with it and may not have understood it completely. if someone could give me a hand and help me find out what I have done wrong, that would be great. Here is what I have done:
