Android :: Want List Manager With Online Sync

I've been looking for some time a good list manager with online sync. I is supposed to be LIST manager (like collections or things to take on a trip) and not TO DO manager, so the notifications are not necessary. For to do's I have "Got to do" and it's great. What is important for me is so that this app would allow both online and offline browsing on my phone and computer, so that the files must be stored locally. What I mean by ONLINE is that it can be accessed via webpage WITHOUT ANY EXTERNAL application. CloudList is almost what I've been looking for BUT it does not support offline browsing. For the lack of better solution I was thinking about 3 bananas, but list structures in 3 bananas are very limited. Any other ideas?

I'm planning to buy a new phone next week (last one got stolen), and I'm kinda thinking about an android one. I've got three requirements: -An easily manageble "to do"-list om the home screen (e.g stickynotes) -A good calendar (which may or may not be able to sync with google calendar, no biggie!) -Ability to sync my adress book with an online server (google sync?) every month or so...(That was two years' worth of contacts, damnit Anyway, my question is this: Would an android phone really be the best choice for me? I'm kinda on a tigt budget, and I've heard horror stories of Android phones/Iphones having to connect to the net every day or so... But the only thing I really need the internet for is for syncing (the adress book once a month, the calendar every week or so), checking my mail now and then and for downloading the occasional app (e.g. stickynotes).

I'm coming from WM6. I use to use Dashwire which synced all my contacts, pics, txt messages to an online accessible site. Unfortunately, dashwire doesnt support android.
1. Are there any sites like this for android?
2. Are there any online sites that support WM6 and Android? This would make it alot easier for me to transfer my contacts and info from my WM6 phone to android.

Anyone seen a general list or data manager app for Android? Not looking for a to-do list or task list - but a general list manager where I can define my own tables and fields, edit data, filter, sort, etc. Syncing to a PC app would be great, but I don't really expect that.If anyone has used Listpro fom Ilium Software, on Palm or Win Mobile - that's what I am looking to replace.I may end up using Excel spreadsheets with Documents to Go from Dataviz - and some general sync tool for PC to phone data sharing - but Listpro was so good, I'll miss it!

so I've looked around but don't see any threads on this....but newho, onto the question. has anybody been able to sync their contacts via ATT online Address Book? I've seen like 5 completed syncs in the log, out of prolly 30 total attempts. Either way, i cant log in to check the contacts online. I get this:

My calendar syncs in only one direction: in other words if I enter an event on my PC in google calendar, it shows up on my phone...but if I enter the event on the phone first, it doesn't sync to my google calendar online..is that normal?

So, I haven't been able to sync the AppBrain app up with the online website. I want to download all the apps that I've selected on the website.
I've done this already for about 70 apps.
I've already checked my connection with my gmail account, it's all good. I'm just going to go through and install them all manually, but if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Is there a PC based client that can make and transfer contact lists to the Fascinate - besides using Gmail?
I've got a situation where someone wants to put their whole paper based client list on their phone, some 200+ contacts, and they don't use Gmail. So I'm going to have to type this thing up, and integrate emails while doing it. The thought of having to type it in on the phone is not encouraging. Anyone run across something like that before? On another side note, any good way of limiting what contacts you receive from Gmail? It updated my phone and I've got maybe 20 I actually talk with and 350 contacts I don't care about now.

if I remove all these it clears up to 400mb of ram. what benefit is there to leave all the recent apps there? is th3 phone chewing through more battery to use the 1.2gb of ram vs 800mb?

Having a little problem with my music files. I thought you could just plug the HTC One into the computer and it would show up as a usb device. So i put my music into a file on my Mac. However when i plug in my One all that happens is it wants me to use HTC Sync Manager. I tried and its just plain awful. Is there a way i can just drag the music file and drop into the One?

I'm coming from a Windows Mobile 6.5 phone to the Incredible. My old phone allowed me to sync all of the contacts from my Microsoft Business Contact Manager on my PC to the phone. There was an add-on for Office 2007. I would love to be able to do the same with my new phone.

I've checked my phone's sync settings, synced several times, logged in and out of Gmail online to see if anything has been updated. No such luck. Icon by phone numbers saved on phone is a cell phone, rather than the letter "G" which typically represents contacts pulled from Gmail online. I've had this issue - I believe - with my previous Samsung. Although I've seen this question brought up before, the answers are typically not device specific or have not been useful and clear to follow.
As a new user, I had difficulty negotiating this site and finding the best place to post this. There is not an LG Optimus L9 Forum so, if there is a location where this post might encourage more visibility.

I just changed to a new desktop running Windows 7. After installing HTC Sync, it can detect my HTC Hero. The problem is, under Sync Manager, it only show "contacts" but no "calendar".
How do I make it to see the calendar. I am running Outlook 2007.
I don't have this problem previously when I used Windows XP. Both contacts and calendar synced properly before.

I have searched and downloaded almost every To Do List app and are there any that sync with Gmail Tasks? I know the calendar does but they show up real tiny on the top of the Calendar, I would really like an app to manage them all. Any ideas?

I've tried searching around Google and this forum and couldn't find an answer to this question, so figured I'd post.Basically I do all my syncing manually, whereby I have a number of items in my Accounts & Sync list (a Facebook account, two Gmail accounts, Twitter, etc) get synced when I hit a shortcut on my desktop. These all work fine.My problem is that I have other things that I want to sync as well - namely the Weather Channel app, the other Facebook app (the one that isn't Friendstream), Tripit, etc., and it seems the only way to sync these manually is to open the program and hit sync/refresh. I don't want to use a scheduled sync.I want to be able to add them to the main list in 'Settings > Accounts & sync' so that I can do all my syncs in the one go, the native/official ones as well as these other ones, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do this.

i am trying to play around with the email and autosync features. if i were to turn off auto-sync, would the mail (not google mail) application still sync at the frequency that i set since the mail application is not under the sync list where the weather, news, facebook sync settings are?

I've searched all over the forums and can't find anyone else who is having this problem. I am able to set my captivate to "media player" under the USB settings and Windows Media Player is able to see it. I move files into the sync list and start to sync. It all works perfectly until, for whatever reason with no consistency, WMP freezes. I've concluded it's because the Captivate stops responding but I can't find a solution. The music files are not a problem since they are already condensed in mp3 format. But I need a solution for syncing pictures. Double Twist ignores the original folders and lumps every picture into one folder called "Images", so that's pointless.

Haven't been able to find any programs or info on being able to link my Spring Hero up to my Apple PowerBook to sync with my contact list, address book, and calendar. Are there any programs out there for this? I suppose I can do it the long way, and do some sort of export to my windows laptop, but would like to avoid this step if possible.
I looked long and hard at the iPhone vs. the Hero, and decided the Hero, besides having the obvious battery removal and SD expansion capabilities, would be open to more programs potential because of the open-source, linux-style OS.
I'm hoping that as time goes by, programs will be written to allow syncing with Apple computers, and OS X. It's hard to believe that almost nothing has been written in the forums on this subject. Please point me to any topics along this thread, or others in other forums if you know of them.

Is anyone using the Motorola Media Manager (or Media Link) to sync their itunes with the X? I downloaded the software but it keeps crashing. I've seen a few people refer to it but haven't seen much about it working or being used. I did find an app called iSyncr for PC that seems to have some good comments though.
