Android :: Best Todo List Widget
Jul 29, 2010I'm searching a widget where I can write directly tap on it and if I want to mark as done a string I only just tapping on it without that every time it open the entire program. The thing more similar that I have found is "Todo list widget" but it open everytime the entire app and not permit to write "on the wall".

Mar 24, 2010Trying to learn android by doing a todo application.
So far i have: list all todos create a todo(insert into database)
Adding a delete feature my xml structure for todo list is that i have a TableLayout. and to display my todo list, i put my todo in a textview and i put that textview into a tablerow and i put that tablerow into my tablelayout.
Now i want to add a delete button to the right of my todo list.
My question is there a default delete button that i can use? how do i handle the onclick event, i mean like if a click on a delete button, how do i know which todo this button is for? and is my layout correct?

Feb 2, 2010My calender sync seems to have stopped. My company relies on Google Apps for our business communications, and normally everything works as expected. This morning, changes to my calender are no longer syncing from the cloud to my Droid. Interestingly enough, if I enter a new event on the Droid, it syncs to the cloud.

Nov 16, 2010so I just convinced my boss that we should switch from our costly Ms exchange solution to google apps, as it can do all the same stuff we need and more. We all have Android phones and I have set up my HTC Desire (Android 2.2 sense UI) to sync with my google apps account, no problem.However my boss have the Motorola Milestone, and his android version just won�t sync with his google account. Every time I try adding a google account with his mail address (name@ourdomain.dk), I just get a �no network connection� error. But I can browse internet and youtube just fine.I have searched the forums, and it seems other people can add their google apps accounts just fine, while some have problems.

Sep 16, 2009will the device wake up if there is a widget instance on the homepage but the widget provider or receiver is disabled?If I have a widget instance on the home page, but if I were to disable the widget provider from receiving messages by disabling the component, and if I have no components receiving the messages targeted for that widget, will Android still wake up the device?

What I would like to do is add to-do's several days in advance, and each day have it compounded and then as I complete tasks I can remove them from the list and from day to day it would keep adding to the uncompleted tasks from the day before.

May 20, 2010I am trying to create app widget.In this widget I have added one image button.If i click on this button i should pass list of object to next activity.Before passing this list to activity I am converting it to parceable list and adding it to bunddle and puting that bundle to intent.This logic is working fine in android 1.6, but this is not working in Android 2.1.In android 2.1.I am getting Null pointer excepion when I try to access this list in next activity.To solve this problem I tried to pass only String data through bundle,in next activity String is displaying properly,but when I try to pass list,then only i am not getting list in next activity.

Nov 30, 2009Searched the forums and couldn't find anything...I was wondering if anyone knew of a program/widget/workaround for this: I have auto sync turned off. I don't need my email to refresh every some odd minutes, and having auto sync off extends battery life. However, I would like a quick way to do a 'manual' sync, instead of turning auto sync on, waiting 30 seconds, and turning it off. Ideally, I'd love a 1x1 widget that I could press to do a google sync (gmail, calendar, contacts). Does anyone know of anything?

Feb 2, 2010I have the HTC calender widget that's sync'd with my Google calender. I have (2) events coming up within the next two days but it shows the second or later one vs the next one. For example, today is "eat lunch at school with my daughter". On Thursday, it's "eat lunch at school with my son". The widget isn't showing today's event, which IMO, it should.Also, for Thursday's event (today is Tuesday), it says:
"Tomorrow, 12-12:30, lunch."
Tomorrow is Wednesday, not Thursday.Anyone else seen issues like this ? If so, were you able to solve them?My phone is an HTC Eris, on VZW, running Android 1.5.

Feb 18, 2014I am using a locally made make of phone called a Firefly. My last phone was a samsung, which was way too small and too slow.
When I first added my google account to my andoid phone, I thought nothing of it syncing the contacts. I did not realize that google had kindly created a contact for every single person I had ever emailed in my entire life. For most people, I am sure that this is quite an accurate list, but I manage a business, so I get lots of emails from people and systems that I never need on my phone.
When I first noticed this, I disabled syncing of contacts and manually removed all the contacts from my phonebook. This left me with a nice neat list of contacts. Great. But... When I go to send a text message and add a recipient, I am displayed with a gigantic list of thousands of contacts, most of whom are email addresses and at least 98% of whom are people I would never ever want to send a text message to.
I have searched everywhere, but can not find any way to access this contact list within my phone so I can clean it. The only solution I have been able to find is to first delete all contacts from google, then enable sync, then disable sync after it completes. This is really not ideal as I need these contacts in my google account, but not on my phone.
HTC Droid Eris :: Calender Widget
Jan 13, 2010I currently have app. 30 events on my calender. When I switch to agenda it only shows anywhere from 3 to 5 events. Am I missing something. I liked on my BB Curve that all the events were always on the agenda. It seems like there isn't an option to scroll down to see all events on the agenda.

May 8, 2010Does anyone know if the stock calendar widget can display more than 1 agenda item? Seems that displaying only 1 item on a 2*2 widjet is a waste of space.I have droid agenda and smooth calender widgets installed.
Smooth calendar suites my needs better, but does not fit with other widgets on my home screen as well as the stock widget.Droid agenda is awesome, just cluttered.I would like for the stock widget to work better for me.

I'm using the smaller version (day view I guess) of the HTC Calender Widget.Under the calender settings --> views, I have "Include Weather" checked and a city is also populated, but the weather is not showing.On the widget itself, the day is on the left hand side, then on the right it just reads "No Events Today or Tomorrow".Where is the darn weather?

Dec 17, 2009My Google Calender is great being a calender but I have added Tasks and they do not show up on my pc desktop and phone on the Calender itself except on their actual Web. I see I can access them seperately by using an App called gtask but wondered if there is a way I can set it up so I can see my events and tasks all together on one calander.
