So, I haven't been able to sync the AppBrain app up with the online website. I want to download all the apps that I've selected on the website.
I've done this already for about 70 apps.
I've already checked my connection with my gmail account, it's all good. I'm just going to go through and install them all manually, but if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Here's my Appbrain profile: Gipson's Apps on the phone i don't have ALL of these installed. some are just saved to my list so i can refer to them later.

I've seen like 5 completed syncs in the log, out of prolly 30 total attempts. Either way, i cant log in to check the contacts online. I get this:

Isnt' there a way your contacts info can be saved online with google?

If you know AppBrain, you know that your account automatically makes and saves a list of the apps you load. And you can sync this list with your phone to keep both current. It is also like a backup incase something happens to the apps on your phone. Well yesterday I was clicking my mouse faster than I was thinking and I deleted my "Apps on Phone" list from the AppBrain website. So my question is...If I run the "Sync with AppBrain" feature from my phone will it recreate the deleted "Apps on Phone" list on AppBrain or will it delete the apps from my phone

I installed an app yesterday, (appbrain web downloader) but couldn't get appbrain app to download, so I uninstalled the appbrain web app. Today I tried to update a couple apps, and niether would update- either I got a message that said download paused, with no way to re start, our it would just show it as downloading, but not making any progress. I tried to install another app off the market, just to see, and out wouldn't install either....
Tried-
Clearing market updater
Rebooting phone
Removing battery and re starting phone
going to titanium backup and wiping market data
I have a Captivate. My ATT phonebook DOES NOT WORK, i cannot get it to sync it never has worked. So my Question is HOW can i backup my Phone contacts to a server Online?

Appbrain is AWESOME. If you noticed, I know you did, that FastWebInstaller comes up w/ a note via the phone that it is not-operational b/c google updated the market w/o FWI able to preform.
That makes me believe that perhaps google is setting up this whole online experience. It seems like AppBrain is "hooked" up w/ Google (cause you use ur google sign in).
Obviously I dont have the skinny on inside info. I KNOW some of yous do.

I have Appbrain set up with my Moment and it has all my apps that I want for the EVO. But I can't figure out how to tell it to sync with the EVO and NOT the Moment. I don't see a "change device" setting on the website. Help?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'd like to put Appbrain on my Compaq Airlife 100, but I think their website thinks my Airlife is not an Android device as the page which I think is supposed to have the link on it says something like "Navigate here on your Android device", but of course, the Airlife *is* and Android device.
Anyway, anyone know where I can just download the APK file? There is no Marketplace on the Airlife, so I can't get it there.
It's a free application, so I'm not sure why it's so difficult to come by. I managed to get an old APK (version 2), but it crashed all the time, I'd like to try 3.2.1 and see if the issues are resolved.

I was having apps hang on download from the appbrain market app. This was during an appbrain update. So I uninstalled appbrain. The downloads pending went through, but the appbrain update is now hanging in the downloads from the Android Marketplace. It just says "downloading." I can't kill the process. I have rebooted the phone, manually killed the process. I get this message: "Sorry! The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." Then "Force Close." I want appbrain back, I love the service, but I don't know what to do.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to update Dante via both Appbrain and Market but they seem to be stuck on the download process. It's been trying for at least a week but no go. I've tried cancelling download multiple times to start again which immediately leads to a FC on com.android.vending. I uninstalled Dante on my phone hoping it would clear it out but no. I tried uninstalling Appbrain for the same reason, still no. Cleared caches on both Appbrain and Market no change. Shut down phone and did a battery pull same result. I'm out of ideas at this point any one else have anything? btw, I can download, update, and install everything else i've tried so other than dante all seems well.
