I fell in love with the Thinking Space mind map app. Over the past few weeks I have added everything to my mind map and it has changed my life. Today I opened the app and I cant find my map. I don't know where it has gone. I would dearly like to recover it. Is there deleted box on the phone? I have a HTC Desire with Android OS.

I've tried BeamReader Pro/paid, QuickOffice free and Adobe's Android Acrobat Reader. All have problems.
Acrobat Reader and QuickOffice free do not have the ability to search a PDF.
BeamReader Pro can search a document, but won't make use of an embedded index, so searches are slow, even on pre-indexed PDFs.
BeamReader looses its mind when you switch from portrait to landscape.
Acrobat Reader and QuickOffice recognize phone numbers in PDFs, so you can tap to dial them on Android, but BeamReader Pro does not.
I am very disappointed with all of the above. Is there anything better? I see that there is a US$9.99 paid version of QuickOffice, but the description does not mention capabilities pertaining to PDFs.
I've noticed that my Desire is automatically deleting my emails from my inbox after a few days. I've tried looking in the obvious places to change this but without any luck.I'm not using a gmail account just my own private email account for my emails.How can I change my email account so that I decide when to delete emails from my account?

For example I had an app called Bubble Burst Free BUT I uninstalled it - though now when I long press on the homescreen, select Program, Bubble Burst Free still appears (along with a few other uninstalled apps) though when you select it nothing happens, which obviously shows it has been deleted BUT its annoying to still see it there. How do I go about removing those uninstalled apps from appearing?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been using an 8gig card for a while, but in order to watch a few movies over the weekend (going to my parents) I stuck a few .mtk files on the 4 gig card that came with the phone, the object being to transfer to the laptop once I got to my parents. unfortunately the phone wont boot with the 4gb card inserted, just trying the 8gig one again now.

They are news, weather, Friend stream, messages, the clock and favorites. I added a wrong contact to the favorite page and wanted to delete it. I pressed down on the screen, the remove icon appeared at the bottom and I dragged what I thought was the contact to it. Unfortunately it was the whole favorite page, can I add it back and how do I do it ?

all pre-installed folders that were on there are all gone.
I deleted 5 or 6 photos from my gallery. Now when I scroll through my gallery where the photos were, is just a blank space. I deleted the pics thinking it would automatically compress the gallery together, not leave me with the blanks.

But later on in the day they will reapear. I understand thats because they are still on my isp's server, so i guess they will keep on loading untill i delete them at home? how can i select all of the items in trash at once to delete them faster.

There's not even an option to create a new Android Project. In the preferences, there's nothing called Android.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI purchased a Droid 2 days ago and had the guy at the Verizon store import both the numbers from my old LG phone and also sync it with my gmail account. I never managed by Gmail Contacts so obviously I had a bunch of random people in there that I would never want to call. I figured the best way to do this would be to manage my GMail contacts and then synch it with the updated list. Unfortunately I accidentally deleted all of my Gmail contacts.
At the moment, however, I still have over 900 contacts in my phone? I'm not sure where they are from because Gmail is still supposed to be synching with my phone. Is there a way I can export what I have on my phone to my Gmail account and start over? Is there an app that can help me manage my contacts on my Droid?
I hav an HTC Droid Incredible. There is a default widget that shows your favories in icon mode for quick dialing. I accidentailly deleted it.
No problem, I thought... add / widget / ............ the widget dies not show up in the list??!?! Not under widgets, programs, shortcuts or folders...
Am I missing something? Is it not names "favories" or "starred" or something? What am I looking for and where it is?
Anyone know why XmarkSync was deleted from the market? Just hard reset my phone and reinstalling apps and this one is gone. Any other Xmark bookmark sync apps? XmarkSync was working great for me.

Before I had a 1, 2, and 3 that I could see by typing "android list avds" on the command line but now they are gone. I have tried everything right down to reinstalling Eclipse and they are still gone.

I am completely new to Android and just got my phone today (Vibrant). I was syncing my Facebook and Twitter accounts... and seeing the updates on an app that seemed pre-installed on the phone. It displayed both the Twitter and Facebook updates in the same screen and had a little "T" or "F" on the side to identify them. All was well until I accidentally deleted the screen and now don't know what app that was to get it back. I went through them all.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have the calendar app on my Droid set to sync with my google calendar. There are events in my Droid's calendar that were deleted from the google calendar a long time ago. If I visit the google calendar website, I can confirm that these events are not in the google calendar, yet they still appear on my Droid. I have tried deleting and re_adding the calendar under the calendar app's settings as well as using the "manage applications" area to clear all the data associated with the calendar. The calendar the appears empty, but after the next sync, those events come back (even though they do not show up on the online google calendar). What can I do?
