Android : All My Avd Images Disappeared - When I Deleted Last One

Anyone else hit this problem. I created a couple of avds, tested, then deleted them. When I deleted the last one all my avd images disappeared?
Before I had a 1, 2, and 3 that I could see by typing "android list avds" on the command line but now they are gone. I have tried everything right down to reinstalling Eclipse and they are still gone.
What do I have to do to get them back. These were auto generated by something.

Okay, so I've searched and found nothing similar to this - my phone deleted all the pictures that I've taken, every single one. From the SD card. I haven't done anything unusual, although the phone did a spontaneous reboot this morning. All the rest of my files seem to be there, including some desktop background images that showed up in the photo gallery - it just deleted the photos that I've taken. It's not rooted or anything, just running stock with the OTA update. WTF is that all about? I am beyond fed up with this kind of garbage.

I'm basically using the same method of loading bitmaps in OpenGL that the SpriteMethodTest example uses and have been unable to get rid of an annoying outline that appears around all of my images.
For example, If I were to load an image of a white circle on a white background, I would expect to see nothing. Instead, I would see my circle because its edge would be gray. In SpriteMethodTest, I replaced the background image with white and was able to see that the edges of the android images flying around also don't seem to be rendered correctly.
Does anyone know how to load images in OpenGL without having a thin outline appear around the images?

I really hate the stock messaging app on the bottom of my Galaxy s2. I like using gosms cause i can lock it and keep it private. But the messages are showing up still in the messaging app, ( i thought i enabled only gosms) and of course, when i delete them, they get deleted in gosms too

I'm working to convert some background images to nine patch so they scale better on different phones.
The problem is that if I have the following resource structure: drawable-hdpi/background.png drawable-hdpi/button.png drawable-mdpi/background.png drawable-mdpi/button.png drawable-ldpi/background.png drawable-ldpi/button.png and then I drop a new drawable-hdpi/background.9.png file into the mix, it breaks button.png during the pre-compile. The error is "No resource found that matches the given name (at 'background' with value '@drawable/button').Simply removing that one nine patch file fixes the build. Should I be able to have some nine patch images and some normal ones, or to have nine patch only in hdpi but not mdpi or ldpi? This is Eclipse 3.5.1 with the latest ADT.

I just discovered something very strange. I had installed LauncherPro from the Market a couple of weeks ago to try it out on my Moto Droid, and was able to run it by selecting its icon from my list of apps in my app drawer. I recently downloaded an update for it, and now it no longer shows up in my app drawer. If I go to Settings:Applications:Manage Applications it shows LauncherPro as being installed... However, it is nowhere to be found. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it twice using Manage Applications, but to no avail.
Is this a problem with LauncherPro or my phone? None of my other installed applications have icons that have disappeared like this before.

I resurrected my old Slingbox last night because I decided I wanted to try it with my Android phone. I got the Slingbox working again, and went to the marketplace to download Slingplayer for Android. I did so, and paid the $29.99 for the app.When it completed, I ran the app. It gave me the selection screen where you select the slingbox you want to use...I did so. All of the sudden, a screen popped up asking for the reason I wanted to delete the application from my Android device. It had 4 or 5 reasons listed....but no option NOT to remove it. I hit the "back" button. Well, the app is gone. If I go back to the marketplace, I see Slingplayer with the option to "buy" but not that it is installed. If I look at my bank account, it shows the charged. Now I can't figure out what to do. Is there some sort of customer service for Android (google)? I sure haven't seen it. If I got screwed out of a application, I wouldn't worry about it, but this was $30. Does anyone have any suggestions?

when i did, a playlist that has taken me the last two weeks to make disappeared. as luck would have it though it reappeared today for some reason. i would like to make a copy of it to save on my pc in case it decides to disappear again, but i can't seem to find the file. i made the playlist using the "Music" app that came with the phone. it's about 250 songs out of the 4.5 gigs i put on sd card.

One of my applications downloads a database from a server. When I install the application onto my phone, it downloads the file correctly and loads the information, no exceptions thrown or anything. However, when I upload the apk into the Android Market Place and download it onto the phone, the application downloads the database and then crashes, saying that the sqlite handler was not able to open up the database.

My market app has disappeared! I'm running plainjane2.1 and it was there and functioning properly the night b4. I did a nand backup last night and when I restored, it was gone. I've tried searching but can't seem to find a solution. Am I stuck having to re flash and wipe my data or is there a fix?

I tried to play video using media player, and it run ok like at the example at api demos. but the problem is, when i trigger something that launch a new task (for example click button that will dial number) and then back to it's task, the video screen is gone, only sounds is playing. i noticed that the On Surface Change is called, is this the problem? how to solve it?

The digital clock widget by Maize was by far my favorite clock widget on my Eris until I upgraded my Eris to the leaked 2.1. Ever since the update, I haven't been able to find this widget on the Market even with a QR code. Can anyone post a link to the apk for this widget?

I took off my sd card from my Samsung Galaxy Fit and when I replaced it, my Google-play app and other Google apps like Gmail and You-tube were gone!
I've not been able to download apps or watch videos on You-tube for the past one month.

Does anyone know why all my SMS and MMS messages disappeared? Or has anyone seen this before? Or maybe how I can get them back? I didn't delete any of them, and my settings are set to never automatically delete. I wasn't even doing anything with my phone when it happened.

I had most of my contacts in groups (Family, Friends, VIP, Co-Workers) and some in the ALL section. When adding a contact sometimes, the phone seemed to be a little buggy and finicky when deciding whether it actually wanted to classify the contact in the group i assigned it to or just leave it on that first set of "ALL". So i went through and unassigned all grouped contacts from any group, thinking they'd just sit in the ALL section. (I'm talking about the stock People app on the phone, btw) So anyway, they're not there. They're just gone from the People app all-together. All the info and pictures are still present in my call history and when i select one of them, the contact still exists and i can add them back into any of the groups, but not just have them show up in the ALL section.

I was texting a friend a few minutes ago and when I got a new text from her, I presed messages and all my texts disappeared. I don't have them set to automatically delete or anything, so I'm curious if this is a common problem/is there any way to get them back? I tried turning the phone off and on again but that was no help.

I installed Fresh Evo 0.3 on a stock Evo and everything was fine and dandy. ES File Explorer worked, ROM Manager, everything, etc. I then decided to flash the latest radio update as well. Upon the reboot, all my settings got lost, I had to redo my email, etc but the radio got updated. It also looks like all the apps Fresh 0.3 included now went missing. Did I do something wrong or it this a bug?
