Dec 1, 2010Just looking to sort issue since update to 2.1, i can no longer pair my x10 with ps3 headset. Any ideas?

General :: Can't Pair Bluetooth Headset On CM7.1
Jan 30, 2012I recently install the CM7.1 on my Atrix 4g and it looks great. Everything seem to be working fine except that I can't pair my jawbone icon bluetooth headset.
Is this a know issue with CM7.1?
HTC Desire :: OTA Update / Now No Longer Rooted?
Nov 7, 2010I rooted my desire about a month ago, and only used root access for backups. last week i got the OTA update to 2.2 and installed it, but now i think i no longer have root access. i was doing something (i forget what now) and it told me i need root access to do the task. i still have superuser permissions on my app list, but im not totally convinced. is there an easy way to find out if i still have root access?

Aug 30, 2010Last week I received the 2.1 update on the HTC Hero. I love it, BUT, i can no longer force lock my screen. Previously I could press the 'power/end call' button once to lock my phone. I can't do this any more. Is anyone else experiencing this? My only option currently, is to let my screen time out (set to 15 secs) and then my phone locks itself, but I cannot force this manually. It's rather frustrating - a lot goes on in my pockets in 15 seconds!

Jun 28, 2010I woke up this morning with about 45% battery after 2.5 days on standby and i installed the updated while charging the phone. after the update successfully installed it started charging again at 49% and its taking a lot longer to charge. im guessing this maybe a good thing..before this i got 3-4 days without charging (many emails on phone, texts, a few calls) and i had gps off and htc sense for facebook off, now im going to see how long it lasts with those two things on, since this update addressed the issue with facebook for htc sense.

May 7, 2010I have just updated to version 2.1 and noticed my push Gmail wasnt working. I then went into the Google Mail application and can see its not showing any emails in the inbox and its not downloading any mail in "All items" either. Its only showing emails prior to the update. If I hit refresh it spins for a few moments and I see the data arrows indicate transfer but it doesnt refresh the inbox.

Apr 4, 2010No major issues, but my startup screen does seem to take a LOT longer before the phone actually loads, and once it does none of my buttons/widgets appear for another 5-10 seconds. Additionally, once in a while when exiting a program none of the buttons are on the home screen for 3-5 seconds, and sometimes a Force Close error pertaining to the home activity will pop up ... anyone else experience anything similar, or even just notice a longer boot time?

Aug 29, 2010I have this phone for probably two months now. Overall I'm quite happy considering I have an old one for more than five years.
However, I have two issues that are really bugging me. I think it might have occurred after the froyo update although I'm not sure.
My first issue is the GPS. I takes much longer than before to find my location although when it does it is very accurate. Lots of time it's more than five minutes. It was much faster before. I don't know what's going on!
Second I have 4G problem. If I serf the web with 4G, I'm fine. When I turn on my tethering more than 90% of the time, it will automatically revert back to 3G even if I have good connection (two or more bars). This is quite maddening to say the least. Was wondering if anyone has any ideas. Will a factory reset.
General :: Adbd Insecure V1.30 No Longer Works On GS3 After 4.3 Update
Nov 27, 2013adbd insecure no longer works on the GS3 4.3 update.
I updated to SuperSU 1.80 and CF-Autoroot worked fine, but now adbd insecure says "Binary: Insecure, USB debugging: Disabled" even though I did enable USB debugging. In Eclipse DDMS it just shows the phone as "Offline" but if I change back to "Binary: Original" it will show up normally, except of course I can't access most of the files. If I toggle the USB debugging checkbox off and back on, it will read "Binary: Original, USB Debugging: Enabled" but no combination of turning things on and off on the phone will ever get both "Binary: Insecure" and "USB Debugging: Enabled" to show up together now.

My phone told me I had an update to download, so I did, and I was pleased to find my wi-fi holds a lot better but not so pleased to discover my official headset is now not a compatible accessory apparently! I'm on an X10 mini locked to Orange. Funny thing also is that the phone doesn't seem to know what Baseband version it is :S
I cant find any news about this update anywhere! Anyone else had this yet?

May 24, 2010ok, so i just updated my HTC Hero to the new 2.1. So far i am enjoying the updated UI however, i have noticed some changes, for instance, before i could easily assign ringtones to anyone now when i try to assign tones that are saved on my sd card to specific contacts it will not allow me to do so. The phone now only lets me set a default tone which can be any tone (sd card or factory) but all contacts have this tone & i cannot assign specific tones for certain contacts.

Apr 25, 2010I'm about to upgrade my car stereo, and for about $30 to $70 more I can go with a bluetooth version, so I can stream music and hopefully books from audible.com as soon a they develop the app. I am planning to get the Verizon car dock or something similar to use the Google Nav. From reading posts in the Nexus One threads, the N1 streams music and phone calls well using bluetooth, and will pause music for nav instructions or a call.
Is it safe to assume the Incredible would work the same way? Also, I'd like to hear how others are planning to use their Incredible in the car. Ideally I'd like to drop the phone into the dock with the minimum of connecting charging cables, syncing cables, etc.
