I have videos on my phone that are in parts and they don't show up in order. I tried putting numbers in front of their file name to no avail. Is there any way to organize the videos so they show up in your folders on the phone in a way that you see fit.

I downloaded a movie via a torrent then converted it to MP4 format via Videora. The transfer from my computer to the HTC Hero looked good. However, when i go to "music" on my phone, I don't see the movie there. I only see audio files. Is there something I'm doing wrong? As a side note, when i check the properties of this video on my PC, it says Opens with: "Unknown Application." Could this be the problem?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI haven't had any luck trying to upload videos to either facebook or youtube. When I do the email thing that facebook offers, it replies that they do not support that kind of file, and if I try to upload them or send them as messages, it tell me that files are too large. I used to have a Touch pro and I was able to upload and send video files to others.
View 1 Replies View RelatedA little disappointed that there does not seem to be a native way to directly upload videos taken on the phone to Facebook (or anywhere else for that matter). Is there an app available or a way that you can do this? Bit of a pain to have to pull from the card on my computer and upload on my PC to FB. I have Qik (app) but dont want / shouldnt have to use it everytime I want to share a basic video.

I noticed that the Hero lacks the option to share a video recorded via the phone to Facebook (an option I liked on the Instinct).Does anyone know of a good app that allows this? Is this an option they are going to add in the future? I just started using the app for 'Qik', however this is primarily to stream live video from your phone to your Qik channel. It does post a link on FB for others to see the video, even if no longer streaming live, but the videos you record when using the app do not stay native to the phone (cannot view / locate videos in your albums) and you have to go to your channel to view them.Curious if anyone knew of an app that allows you to choose a video from albums and share on social media sites (specifically FB).

I'm at my local Sprint store fondling the new EVO and contemplating when I get an upgrade and maybe I should get one or should I wait or.Anyway, the phone was fully functional and on 3G, so I thought I would check out YouTube. I brought it up and searched out a video I had watched before and cued it up. When it played, and for whatever reason, it had super resolution and looked great, but it would not play more than a few seconds without stopping then starting, stopping and starting again, etc. I thought this was pretty weird, so holding the EVO in my other hand, I pulled out my Hero and cued up the same exact YouTube video. When the vid played on the Hero the video guality and resolution were not as good as the EVO's, but it played perfectly and seamlessly all the way through, no starting and stopping at all.

If they are not stored locally, is there an app that does this? I have SMS Backup, but i want the MMS files to be local on my SD card and in an album as all other pics/vids.

It was 9mb of precious space and when I connect my phone to my PC I cant find it anywhere and I for sure can't find it anywhere on my phone. I also have a ton of pics on my card apparently from viewing pictures through email. How do i delete this junk. The pics don't show under gallery they just showed up when I transferred pics to my PC.

They usually show a received time of HOURS before I actually got it, so it shows way in the middle of the stream somewhere. This is also true for messages I send.

Since the last update, in my people app, which lists all my contacts, anyone with a facebook profile shows up twice. There are two identical entries, one after another, listed throughout all my contacts.
This is a gigantic PITA since it's effectively added another %50 to my contacts, making it more difficult to scroll thorough and choose a contact.
I'm not sure if this question has been addressed or asked yet, and I couldn't find anything using the search feature, so I'll ask anyways.
Sometimes I get email notifications (using HTC Mail) and I open Mail and go to the new message, but all that shows up is a timestamp of "Wed, Dec 31, 1969 7:00 PM" with no subject, body, or even sender. It's like the email didn't download or I can't view it for some other reason.
Its working when u click it but doest show that i downloaded it. no way to unistall.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to backup my contacts so I can update to 2.1. Currently, the contacts on my phone are split between Phone (people who I call) and Google (people who I email). My google contacts are really messy and disorganized because it is every single person I email. Currently, I have my phone only showing the phone contacts I had synced from my computer. But in order to export the contacts now, it seems I have to export them all together. When I sync it back after I update, they will probably not be split between phone and google. Is there any way to show only contacts that have a number assoicated with them so my phonebook isn't that messy?

For some reason, when I get mail it will from time to time show up in the email app. It always shows up in gmail, but every now and then, it will also show up in the mail widget. The question I have is, why will HTML mail only show the attachments/pictures in the mail widget. The same email will not display in gmail. How can I get gmail to show HTML images?
