Apr 7, 2010Is anyone aware of a way to organize pictures on the Eris? I have almost 400 pics all listed under Camera shots and, of course, anytime I am looking for 1 specific pic, I have to filter through them all. I have tried everything that I know of on my phone outside of just purging pics. If I create separate folders on my SD card, will it display that way in the album?

Jan 15, 2010I bought a new 8gb transcend class 6 for my hero and took out the old card and put the new one in and formatted it. Looked at the original 2 gb card and has lots of folders. Question is: do I have to copy and paste the old folders to the new card or will the phone automatically set up new folders? Phone's relatively new so I don't care about the existing photos and whatnot and do I create specific folders myself i.e. mp3, pics, etc.

I've been playing around with the App Organizer, and been putting things into folders. However, I am trying to do a few things.
Add shortcuts into the groups App Organizer creates, and/or create custom icons for Folders I put on the Home pages.
For example, I have 6 mail accounts (don't ask) and want to put them in a group called mail. Using AppOrganizer, I can only organizer the main mail icon into the group, I want to add the 5 other shortcuts I created for each account. OR I group them into a folder, but I want to change the folder icon to an envelope.
Also, anyone know any good apps that puts email notifications on the top taskbar?

Jul 24, 2010What I need to do with my Incredible is so simple and I am really amazed that this phone's photo application is as bad as it is. I have about 100 photos. I need to put them into individual folders or albums (I just need a way to separate them). I have tried everything but it does not appear as though the Incredible has this capability. I did a search and found some instructions using Astro file manager however this did not work for me. Therefore, is there any decent apps out there that will allow me to create folders (or albums) and put pics into them? I also need to somehow backup the photos (probably directly off of the SD card onto my PC).

Mar 26, 2010Ive tried help that i found online, as in hooking up to computer and adding folders, but still, if i go to the gallery i have 2 folders regardless. "my pics" and "all pics". it doesnt show any folders. if i snap a pic itll be in "my pics", any other pic i add just goes into "all pics". this is frustrating as i want it neat and easily navigated... not going thru every picture i have.

As a die-hard Apple fan who's stuck with Sprint, I'd say the Hero get's high marks in my book.Anyway, I'm a MobileMe subscriber and have all my various email addresses funneling down to my MobileMe account. I set up the Mail app to retrieve email from my MobileMe account via IMAP but am having a bit of trouble with the Sent and Trash folders.The Android Mail client is creating a secondary Sent and Trash folder even though "Sent" and "Trash" already exist in MobileMe. I noticed that there's also a Deleted Messages and Sent Messages folder as well in the Android Mail client.I tried out the K-9 Mail client which allows you to remap the folders (I remapped Sent to Sent Messages and Trash to Deleted Messages), but I'm not a big fan of K-9 and love how the default Mail app works.Does anyone know how I might be able to remap folders or get the Sent/Trash folder in the Android Mail client to map to the Sent/Trash folder in MobileMe?

Jul 16, 2010I just need to know if it is possible at all to edit video taken with our Incredible (ex. shorten, decrease size, split into separate videos, etc.). I've searched the Market and can't find any app to edit videos. Because the resolution is so large, it is difficult and in some cases impossible to send a video via SMS, MMS or email because of its size. The smallest video setting is 1MB, which at the lowest resolution, is only 9 seconds long. That's horrible. I want to be able to record a regular video and edit it. Please help if anyone knows whether or not this is possible. By the way, despite the issues everyone else may have, I luv this phone...had it since day 2 of pre-order launch and never thought twice about returning it.

This weekend I was visiting some friends I haven't seen in a long time, we had a few beers and then got a bright idea. My friend has a work phone with an 8GB MicroSD card that he doesn't use. So, we swapped memory cards. Now I'm 4 states away and just now realized that I should have copied the folders onto the new card. Anyone have a zip file with the "stock" folders and info for these phones? I tried searching but it seems I have a rather unique twist to a common issue.

Dec 20, 2009I downloaded a movie via a torrent then converted it to MP4 format via Videora. The transfer from my computer to the HTC Hero looked good. However, when i go to "music" on my phone, I don't see the movie there. I only see audio files. Is there something I'm doing wrong? As a side note, when i check the properties of this video on my PC, it says Opens with: "Unknown Application." Could this be the problem?

Nov 26, 2009I haven't had any luck trying to upload videos to either facebook or youtube. When I do the email thing that facebook offers, it replies that they do not support that kind of file, and if I try to upload them or send them as messages, it tell me that files are too large. I used to have a Touch pro and I was able to upload and send video files to others.
