My intention is to create a spam-free thread containing all sort of applications that are useful (or not ) for our lovely phone , I'll try to organize this head post to contain all the apps you post here, So, you should post this 4 topics: Name: <name of the application>Category: <game, util, etc...>Location: (optional) <URl for example, or the QR Code>Brief Description. And I'll say it again, please, no answers like "no application to make coffee?" or "I can't find it? I even looked under my bed!"

Can you make a sticky thread please on this subject and include a step by step guide and maybe the link to SE's blog and video on how to... So many users are really struggling with this, and its all possible as long as you get the set up right. People don't seem to see your yellow asterisk and it also doesn't give a huge amount of info. Coming from dumb phones where you just pressed the button this whole new way of doing things is a bit perplexing when you start out.

I just bought my xperia x10 mini pro. it comes with a lot of applications. Even games where the trial period has expired. I can't remove them at all. I can only remove those i install myself.

I bought my xperia mini pro 2 weeks ago, and it never be able to install any applications.
There is no android market icon on home screen so i searched "android market" on internet and using internet browse version.
I can access android market (androidzoom?) and find applicatin, but it says " yo do not have permission to open this page. market://~~~(url)".
I can do nothing without applications...

I have a small doubt about the ads popping in the free apps. The question is does it try to access the 3G/2G when their are disabled while those free apps are running in the background? I hope by unchecking the background data would be prevent them just in case they do access 3g/2g when running in the background?

I´m facing problem with phone book synchronization of my Xperia X10 2.1 with Parrot CK3100 bluetooth hands free. The exact issue is that Parrot import few of contacts only and rest have not displayed at all. After re-connect again it works fine for while.

As the title says my phone will no longer download from the market or update anything its weird as it was working OK last week ( don't use it to down load much) but now all I get is update or download unsuccessful please try again. Been trying this in different place so I don't think its the signal.

Does Anyone have an idea how to organize the applications on the flip up page. My LG Eve had it in groups and you could create your own, I would like to do something similar to my X10 if possible. Does any body else have a problem with windows and apps just shutting down or going BACK to the home screen on there own??? For me it mostly happens while browsing on the web window CLOSES and brings. Ba k to my home screen on its own I am running two diff app managers well...technicially 3 im positive it has something. To do with that.

The X10 is a superb phone, I'm loving it. However, one of my grips is some of the locked apps on the phone. I genuinely have no interest in certain locked apps - TrafficLive being the most notable. But going to Applications management I'm not given the option to delete, really frustrating. Is there any way of deleting these locked apps?

I bought a new sony ericsson x10 mini the other day and it is a fantastic phone. It is running in the Android system which is really good. The only thing that I can not figure our is that when I open up an application I don't know how to close them so I am left with multiples of Apps open at the same time. This seem to run the battery down really fast, but I can't seem to find any where or anybody that knows how to close the apps when I am finishes.

I have tried the task killer and that does not seem to stop the applications running. I find that everytime I open and application it I can not close it down it just runs in the background. I have tried force stop and that does not work so what is the answer?The more apps you have running the more it kills the battery life. Apple have released one for the iphone so I can not see it being a big problem to have one for the X10 users or I am missing a trick somewhere?

I asked this on XDA and no one has replied so far, so I'll give this a shot here. And I thought this was worthy of its own thread cuz I was pretty clueless on where to go.
Ok, so I deleted the following things from my phone using Titanium Backup.
- Korean and Danish keyboards
- Moxier Mail
- Face Recognition
- Creatouch
- User Guide + User Guide Client
- Play Now
- Setup Guide
- TrackID
- everything Timescape (8 files in total) *ok, this seems to have screwed up my camera photos and won't read my SD card pictures or the pictures I had taken (except for 2 photos in total). If anyone has the original 8 files and can hook them up PLUS TUTORIAL ON HOW TO REINSTALL THEM, then that would be AWESOME! For some odd reason, I backed the files in Ti Backup, but they aren't showing anymore...so a heads up for people backing the core default files, be careful what you delete. Or are they stored somewhere else that I'm unaware of?*
Also, I'm really looking to get rid of "Voice Dialer" and "Office Suite". Anyone know if removing it will screw up any function of the phone?

Well I've been playing with my playlists and now I have duplicate playlists but the duplicate ones are empty and there is no way of deleting them in the Phone interface that I can see. Any clues?
Also when I try to remove applications using the settings > application manager, none of them have delete or remove buttons...

I downloaded some apps from Market. They all downloaded successfully but I cannot see them when i go to Menu and then click on the 'App' Icon. When i click on the 'App' Icon it says 'To add widgets open the vodafone shop and download your widgets' I already have the apps installed on the phone for sure, just need the shortcuts to appear under the 'App' button.
