i want to go to internet in my laptop through my phone internet when they are connected throgh usb port. any one knows how can that be possible. i had done this with my another phone sony ericsson k800 with selecting phone mode when i connect phone and laptop together but my xperia doesn't have this option. Any one can help me out? My phone is xperia x10i.

I have internet connection home on my computer. I thought connecting my X10 mini pro to my computer through USB would be enough to have free internet and download from Android Market among other things. However, it doesn't work like that. I tried to activate "Airplane mode" so as to cut off al wireless connections and use USB "forcing" my X10 mini pro to look for th internet that way but it does not have internet access through USB connection with my computer (Internet works great on my computer).
I recently bought a sony erricson experia x10. I would like to use it to connect to the Internet using my laptop via USB/Bluetooth. How do i go about achieving that?

Is there any apps or anything else which enables it to easy share internet? I have found something called Android wifi tether. I bought xperia x10 last week and since then i've been trying to download some apps and/or games but i never sucseeded. i connected with usb on the pc, i downloaded the sony ericson pc companion i tried to install appbrain on the phone i selected sync on te settings.... But i never managed to sync the phone with the pc so i can install directly from the internet or to download some apps.

Now that I've deactivated it, I am no longer able to use the android apps, or change things within the phone because on not being able to log into that account. The login page comes up with the old account asking me for my password, but of course, like I said, it is no longer in use, and it doesn't let me change the user name as I've made another goggle account. I have tried to change things in the settings, but all I've done it seems is to have screwed it up more.

I had a software update come through recently which told me I needed to go to the Sony Ericsson website to update it.. I tried to do this and it appears I can only update it using a PC as its not compatiable with a Mac computer (which I have). I have tried running the software update on the phone and as it can't connect to the internet it wint update anything.. so Im stuck in a circle now.
