Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Deactivate Google Account On Laptop

I had to deactivate the Google account (due to a privacy issue) that I was using on my laptop and it was the one I was using on the phone also. Now that I've deactivated it, I am no longer able to use the android apps, or change things within the phone because on not being able to log into that account. The login page comes up with the old account asking me for my password, but of course, like I said, it is no longer in use, and it doesn't let me change the user name as I've made another goggle account. I have tried to change things in the settings, but all I've done it seems is to have screwed it up more.

I want to change Google account. I tried Setting>Basic Settings>Setup Guide, but cannot click Google Account. Cannot change from Menu>Gmail too.

Few days ago i had trouble with the keyboard of my X10, it was, for unknown reason, lock in Korean and i couldn't change it.So i decided to reset my phone to factory setup. This worked and the keyboard came back to french.But now i can't access to any Google app, as Market, Gmail, etc.It's asking me to log in to my google account (it never ask me that before, even when i bought the phone), but it's always telling me that my password is wrong and advice me to connect http:/google.com/accounts on my PC. I did it and i can access to my google account without any problem.Then i updated my phone to Android 2.1, but it didn't solve anything, i tried to repair it with Update service and PC Companion, but it didn't help more.I found on internet that i could put "null" as my password, but then it's asking me to reproduce a capcha, i did but it's asking me to reproduce another one, again and again.I noticed than my phone seems to have some trouble to connect with my SIM card, don't know if it's link.I don't really want to send my phone to repair for 3 weeks, but this is becoming really annoying, what can i do ?

When i 1st got my x10 i registred my phone with the google account on the menu, well i've forgot my e-mail address with google. Anyway my phone was in my pocket and has locked up asking me to enter my google account details but like i say i forgot the details, didnt think i needed to remember them as i was always signed into the account on my phone, so does anybody know how i can get this sorted.

i hve been a consistent user of Sony Ericsson and i love their fons.its simply fantastic i hve used 14 sony ericsson fons in 2 years! and i just purchased a Xperia X10 mini from Singapore when i wen on a holiday over there.now I'm back in india.i can only browse,listen to music,text take fotos and make calls. I can't access the Market or gmail or facebook or gtalk! when ever i try to sign in with my google account it shows some error! i need serious help on this..i havn't evn downloaded the bluetooth settings. please mail me a solution to heyden1993@gmail.com !

I was trying to setup google account by choosing "Data Synchronization-> Google Sync" It was asking my google account and I was signing in it says "This could be a temporary problem or your SIM card may not be provisioned for data services. Please try again when you are connected. It it continues, call Customer Care."
In my mobile Airtel Live is active. I tried contacting Airtel Customer Care. They say that "this connectivity problem is with you phone. Please contact Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, customer care. I tried "Sony Ericsson Xperia Customer Care, No Use. I'm tired of doing this and I'm frustrated of not using any useful application by having this costly xperia in my hand.

My phone is not able to communicate with any google server and as a result I cant access the Market, Facebook, Email and other such features which require a google account. It is showing "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server." This persists since I bought the phone about two weeks ago.

When I first set up my X10 it asked me to register a Google account which I did. Is there anyway to change this account to another account? I have tried from one of the menus but it says the account is already setup.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I was searching through google for my problem with my xperia x10 and I found this forum which should help me! Basically I forgot my pattern unlock and I tried it 5 times and I had to unlock it with my google account. I've tried 2 google accounts and they wont sign in and they work on my laptop! Its been locked all day and its not unlocking!

My son has been playing around with my phone and now when I unlock the phone it is coming up saying that there have been too many pattern attempts and that to unlock, I need to sign in with my Google account. Problem is, not sure what my Google account details are. I have a GMail account but that doesn't work.

right so the bottom buttons were working fine, but the next day, the back button takes me to the home screen :S so if im on facebook, press the back button, instead of going to the previous page. and i also set up the draw thing to unlock it, but as it was raining a little it said i entered it wrong too many times and asked for the google mail thing... but i really have no rememberence of making one, which is so ******* annyoying.
the only way ive found out to solve this problem is doin a phone software update, however as my bottom right button is working properly, everytime i hold it down to plug the phones usb, the phone just starts normally, so basically i cannot do the system update.

My manager has just bought himself a new Xperia X10 and he has setup the bluetooth connection, however when its paired to the laptop and a call comes in the laptop automatically answers the phone for him, so he has to switch the bluetooth off on his laptop until he needs it. Is there an option either on the laptop (Win XP SP3) or on the phone to stop this happening, the only features he really needs are file transfer and to use it as a modem.

I got an X10 mini pro. It feels great. I tried Internet access but I don't know how I get that without using my telephony operator (and being charged for every byte transferred).
I have internet connection home on my computer. I thought connecting my X10 mini pro to my computer through USB would be enough to have free internet and download from Android Market among other things. However, it doesn't work like that. I tried to activate "Airplane mode" so as to cut off al wireless connections and use USB "forcing" my X10 mini pro to look for th internet that way but it does not have internet access through USB connection with my computer (Internet works great on my computer).

Seems to be some confusion on this issue. Do you know if there is a way to get the X10 to act as a "modem" of sorts when tethered, so I can use my laptop in remote areas where there is no land line or WiFi access (but you can get a cell phone signal).

I have been trying to add an email account to my phone through the email button.I have also tried using K-9, but still no luck.I have added my gmail account with no problem, but would also like to add my yahoo email address.There seems to be a facility to do so.I have put my yahoo address and password in to the appropriate section, but the next page asks for my 'Username'.Any idea what the 'Username' means?I have tried putting in my yahoo email address, both with and without the 'yahoo.ca' bit, but I get an error message saying 'Setup could not finish.Username or password incorrect'.
