Aug 22, 2010So after turning off "adjust automatically" about a week ago in the display settings I have noticed a huge battery improvement. My question is what is your brightness set at? 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full? Just trying to see where most people are with there settings and how the battery has been with it. Right now I'm around 1/4 but wondering if anyone set on about 1/2 or more has noticed battery drainage. Also, will the 2.1 update fix the battery problem?

The green LED which flashes to notify of the event is actually quite bright in a dark room and ended up waking me up (in fact, I was quite confused at first as to what on earth it could be lol!). Aug 2, 2010I usually tap the off button to turn off the screen when I put my phone inside my front pants pocket. I even have the security feature on so when I turn on the phone, I first have to draw a pattern to unlock it. However, I've noticed that sometimes after I've done all this, my X10 seems to be doing stuff on it's own, ie) downloading pic from the net, sending random text messages, randomly calling contacts. I know because sometimes after I "unlock" my phone, I see that the phone is in the middle of doing something. I thought by turning on the security feature, it's supposed to prevent accidental taps on the phone and doing random things while inside the pocket.

Love my fone so far, but had not too much time playing with it so far, but one thing that bugs me is that my screen auto lock straight after a call even if I am not back to my home screen, how can I stop it to do this. Reason is that when I unlock it again, I am at the previous screen, I have then to cancel screens to go back to my home page to start again, this is a pain.

Jul 29, 2010My manager has just bought himself a new Xperia X10 and he has setup the bluetooth connection, however when its paired to the laptop and a call comes in the laptop automatically answers the phone for him, so he has to switch the bluetooth off on his laptop until he needs it. Is there an option either on the laptop (Win XP SP3) or on the phone to stop this happening, the only features he really needs are file transfer and to use it as a modem.

Aug 19, 2010I've checked the "orientation" box in the "sound and display" settings menu, but the Home and Menu screens will not auto-orient when my X10 mini pro is rotated. It only works when the keyboard is slid open - applications don't seem to have this problem. This is a recent issue, probably in the last couple of days. i've tried reinstalling the software via PC Companion and SEUS, in addition to a "factory reset," but they haven't solved anything. Is there something wrong with the accelerometer or is it a software issue that can be resolved with the next software update (2.1)?

Dec 9, 2009Are these the same? I have searched the forum, and can't seem to find the answer. I don't find any "auto brightness" setting in the settings menu on the Hero.
