After awhile of heavy SMS use if i open a message and go to type to respond the words i type do not show up on the screen. Id i minimize the keyboard it shows. If I expand it they go away.

It won't type bad words. Sh*t, fu*k type words. Nope wont do it. I love the app though. I can type fast as hell.
View 30 Replies View RelatedMy current situation is that I have a phone with 2 camera apps on it, stock and camera FV-5.
Camera FV-5 is slower than the stock camera, so I only use it in situations which I need manual control.
Whenever I open whatsapp and try to send a photo, the app asks me which camera I want to use, with no option to always use stock. I don't want camera FV-5 to exist as an option, as I will open it if I want to use it.
Is there a way to remove an app from the list so that my phone does not recognise camera FV-5 as a camera?
My login for jabber account contains "point" symbols ( ���dima��� ).
So, how I can paste or type it in the application?
PS These symbols are the same which displayed while entering passwords
Rom Manager asks me to choose a phone type but my model number doesn't appear. I chose the Boston and more and it is downloading some other app that it needs.Will this cause problems that my exact phone model wasn't listed?

For example, this is my current home screen (via SPB Mobile Shell for WinMO):Just a small amount of calendar, but shows my next two upcoming appointments.I haven't seen any Android screen shots showing such a screen. I got the Desire as a replacement for my first Android phone, the Samsung i7500 Galaxy (grrrrrrr) as I complained about the ongoing issues with that handset (dialpad issues, lack of support from the manufacturer, etc).As it was a replacement during my contract they provided an as-new handset (refurb/return under O2s 14 day return period). Phone is def as-new, not a mark on it, screen protector, new battery and charger etc. However it came in a plain box, and so I don't know if it's an AMOLED or SLCD handset. Also, I have no idea when it was manufactured. Not an issue as I have a warranty, but it's a point of curiosity. Anyone know how I can find out both of these points?

This made it so easy to reply to text messages without my boss knowing, or while being lazy in bed.Any type of app like this for Android? I downloaded the SDK but I can only take screenshots with it, I can't control the phone.

Clue #2: P/N is 99HKZ009-00 Clue #3: Made in China Clue #4: Unbranded, unlocked phone bought from a US retailer. My plan is to root. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a CDMA Hero and when ever I type in landscape, the on screen keyboard is really laggy. The portrait keyboard is fine. I use handcent sms and I've tried to turn off sound and vibration still no luck. I've tried to use the default messaging app and its the same...any solutions?
I've tried use the stock HTC keyboard and better keyboard with no luck, both still lag while in landscape mode.
I have rooted the phone and flashed Fresh 2.0d.
Is there a way or a place on this phone where you can just type a internet site address into a bar and get it? For example an "address bar" like on your computer where you can just type in say - wwwdotebaydotcom and go right to the site instead of going through the search?

It is a red exclamation in a triangle and I believe it says something about the SD card but it disappears so fast I cannot read it. Any ideas?? There is nothing in the notification area.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm sure this first question has been answered, but I haven't been able to find it. I have a Vibrant and a Mac Book with OS 10.6.4. When I plug in my phone and mount the SD card, nothing happens. I've learned elsewhere that this seems to be a problem with this phone and Macs and I've enabled USB debugging. That works, but for me it is not a proper workaround. Has this problem been fixed? Is there some update for either my phone or my computer I can install that would make it work like it should? Also, a question about my contacts. Like most, Gmail saves every person I email in my contacts. This is fine because on Gmail.com they're separated into "my contacts" and "other contacts". On my G1 I was able to only have "my contacts" in my contacts, but on my Vibrant it just threw everyone in there. I was able to get around it by saying only show contacts with numbers, but that's not exactly what I want either. Is there a way to tell the vibrant to only show certain groups of your google contacts?

Someone claimed it worked on their Moment, but the two I've tried (one at Sprint, one at Best Buy) do not do it. I have searched through the settings menus and the owner's manual and have not found a way to enable this feature. Any suggestions? This is a deal-breaker as I need to be able to type both English and French. I need it to work both on-screen and with hardware keyboard.

None of these contacts are syncing with Gmail. After some researching it appears as though only contacts of type Google will sync with gmail. So, how do I convert my existing contacts to Google contacts? I can't seem to find anyway to do that.

Whenever I make or receive a call, the name is shown, and the phone number is shown underneath the name instead of the type that the number is associated with.Any way to show the type (mobile, work, home) instead of the number itself? Otherwise are we supposed to memorize which numbers belong to work, mobile, or home?I don't even see any icons, or colour changes that would signify one of the types.
