Rom Manager asks me to choose a phone type but my model number doesn't appear. I chose the Boston and more and it is downloading some other app that it needs.Will this cause problems that my exact phone model wasn't listed?

I am a fairly new Droid X user and am having issues syncing up my google calendar with the default calendar that comes with Droid X. I doesn't show all the calendars on the phone, only the default google one on my phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use the Handcent SMS and the LED color (blue) and it worked perfectly fine. I set the color to a custom color now and when I get a text, the LED for SMS doesn't show up. I also have the custom color off now too. I also have Missed Call. I used it to set a color for the SMS LED, but it still does not work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a bit of a dilliema when it comes to texting on this phone. I am coming from a BB curve. I run a small business and I schedule my employees through text message. I do so 10+ employees at a time. The problem I have found with Handcent and Chomp, is that if I message 10 people "Work Thursday at 315" when they reply to confirm, it doesnt show my original message, so I have no idea what they are confirming because Im often sending out many different times to many different people. Now, the stock messaging app DOES show my original message when they reply, but the sort order is all screwed up.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOn my DroidX, Google Sky doesn't show up in my list of applications, but if I search for it, it does. I can launch it from the search results. I can also add an application widget to the home page and select Google Sky in its settings as the app to launch. Why doesn't it show up in the list of applications (The icon-based list you get when pressing the triangle-in-a-circle icon from the home page)?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI backed up and deleted Blockbuster with Titanium. But, since I hadn't purchases Titanium yet, it didn't back up the apk (it just backed up the data). I then decided to reinstall Blockbuster so that I could get a proper backup. I moved the apk (which people have posted) and installed it. Then I moved the apk to system/app. The program then wouldn't start, so I updated it in the market (this was happening to people with stock X's too). Everything works and seems fine, except now Titanium doesn't list Blockbuster as a system app. If anyone who's not deleted can check, does Titanium list it as a system? Also, does anyone know if I've done something wrong?

Yet if I call them with my actual phone's number it shows the profile picture. Ditto when they call in. Anyone have a fix for this or is this Motorola's problem?

I have been searching around this forum for a while and I was wondering if other people were having issues with Exchange not syncing your flagged emails. The phone doesn't show my flagged emails and if I flag an email using the phone they don't show up in Outlook. Everything else seems to be syncing just fine for me (read/unread, deleting, calendars etc).
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I got my S4 I transferred pictures from my computer to the phone under pictures so that I can use them as my wallpaper. The album showed up in the gallery and all was well, but whenever I transfer new pictures into said folder, the pictures are not updated in the phone gallery. I deleted the album in my gallery and the pictures off my phone in hopes that all of the new pictures will show up if I transfer the pictures again from my computer to my phone. Now the album isn't even shown in the gallery. I've selected the option to show all content on the device but the album is still not showing.

It is concerning me that they have supplied me with a re-worked/repaired phone that someone else has used previously.
There are about 10 contacts that show up, all are linked to google, not on the phone memory or sim memory. Numbers from friends, to "moms".
UK, American and local SA numbers.
I thought this thread might be a good way for developers to see the type of apps that people want, and hopefully write them.
I would like an app that shows me on a map which cell tower my phone is using, signal strength, etc.
Is it possible to open the music app from my app in android, or is it best to write a whole new music app inside of mine. I would rather use theirs since the user will already be comfortable with it.

It usually happens when i get 3-5 msgs in quick succession, but sometimes just happens right after i wake it from sleep. Any fixes?

On my DROID X with 2.1, I was successful at transferring my Contacts after uploading a csv file to GMAIL made from my old phone (Samsung Omnia). What I have ended up with on my Droid X is only being able to see the contacts in "All Contacts" and none of them show up in "Phone Contacts". Also, even in "All Contacts" , all it gives is the name of the person, and no other attached information like phone number, address, etc. When I go to check the contacts online on the PC on GMAIL, when I click on an individual contact, all the missing information on the DROID is there and perfectly intact. Losing my mind over this and hoping and praying I will not have to pull up "Edit" on all 210 entries and enter the numbers and adresses by hand.
