When my phone is idling I hear a brief tone so I rush to hit power button and unlock to see the warning. It is a red exclamation in a triangle and I believe it says something about the SD card but it disappears so fast I cannot read it. Any ideas?? There is nothing in the notification area.

anyone know how to edit the type of vibrate associated with notifications? for instance for emails it uses the notification ringtone, but only has an option to vibrate and it uses the long vibrate. i want to change the vibrate to just a short one. i was able to do this on my hero. i just cant find the option anywhere.

Has anyone gotten this warning? This is the warning i get Heap 2 out of memory. Allocating 276 bytes but only 424 available (172 LFB) increase icf setting [s3e] MemSize2 (current value is 5000000)
How do i increase icf setting or fix this any other way?
I'm pretty sure my home screen would do landscape with keyboard closed the first couple of days I had the phone and now it wont do it unless the keyboard is out. Anyone else have the same issue?

Has anyone figured out how to do this? When I hold my finger on a text and choose forward, I only get the box where I have to type in each contact individually. Is there a way to show a list of my contacts when forwarding or at least a way to forward to a group? I have groups set up, but there doesnt seem to be a way to access them when forwarding. I have tried every option and every menu and cant find out how to do this on the Epic?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bricked my Vibrant right after an all night no holds barred recovery using Odin. Long story.I then allowed the Froyo update and it completely bricked my phone dead! Tmo is sending a new unit but asked if I had used Voodoo Lag Fix. Odd thing to ask and I can only assume they were going to void my handset exchange.Word to the wise. Stay away from voodoo?They confirmed that phones are bricking with the Froyo ota update. I'm just saying!

View 12 Replies View RelatedI installed the update for CauseWorld (a random little app where you collect "karma" points for "checking-in" to various real-world locations, and then you spend the points on various charitable causes). I used to leave the app running all the time, so I could easily check-in to a new place every few minutes, because loading the app from scratch is frustratingly slow (whereas having it running in the background makes it pop up instantly).
With the new update, if I left the app running in the background, it'd wake up my phone every few seconds, as it tried to update my location in the app. So as I left my phone sitting on my desk, I'd see the lock screen flash on, then off. Then on, off, on, off, etc. Pretty annoying. Last night I charged my phone, and as I went to bed, unplugged the charger, since it was fully charged. But apparently I forgot to shut down the CauseWorld app, because my alarms never went off this morning, and my phone was completely dead.
I plugged it into the charger, but the phone won't turn on, even after leaving it plugged in for 15 minutes.
The only thing that's changed about my phone in the last week is downloading the update for the CauseWorld app, so I'm blaming that, for lack of any other idea of what caused the problem.
The wife is on the road with her new samsung galaxy s. she needs to take some pics on this trip and the camera suddenly stopped working.. i tried the cam yesterday and it worked fine out of the box (phone is 2 days old now). when launching the camera app the phone throws up a 'camera failed' warning and quits out of the app.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI currently have an issue with the epic. its not the battery issue or gps but the keyboard input. Sometimes at sporadic times (not every time)when I type a random letter or character I have to press a button two times to replicate the character or space and I'm a fast keyboard typer and its been bothering me lately and I'm wondering if anyone else has those issues? I already have went to sprint and had them exchanged the phone and the new phone still to no avail does the same thing. I thought it was Advanced task killer that may have caused my phone to be acting weird but I hard reset the phone and still no avail. Maybe its just a bad keyboard? both times? the phone is an august build and battery is also an august build. I'm at work right now and plan to hit the sprint repair store near home. I just want to know if anyone else has this issue? So I dont want to look like an idiot to the tech.
